What's wrong with aggressiveness? But everything else, agreed It's not just the story elements but the incompetent…
"What's wrong with aggressiveness?" - my problem isn't aggressiveness itself, but precisely the way it's written in her works. It's what you said - "the incompetent way they're written".
She doesn't use them as a way to improve the writing and the story - she just throw it there out of nothing to cause drama and conflict.
I don't see this series ending badly. They're just leaving you in suspense so we'll tune in next week to watch…
The problem is that with only one episode she managed to destroy all the building up that we have had through the past weeks. Now I just hate Leo and I'm completely disgusted by the turn this story has taken. I'm sick of the "drugging someone" trope in Mame's series
I really thought it was impossible for me to hate Mame more than I already did, but she's just outdone herself. She just can't write a story without putting drugging, abusing, blackmailing and aggressiveness in it. I think she probably fetishizes all of that. This episode was just disgusting in SO MANY LEVELS. I'm sick to my stomach.
Even coming out in the 1970s I didn't know of any suicides. There are probably some. Probably rare. At the time…
What is it like living in a bubble for your whole life? Just because in your circle it didn't happen or you didn't use to talk about it, it doesn't mean it didn't happen anywhere else. You commentary show a level of ignorance that makes me wonder if you really are apart of the gay community.
It's great that you had friends to talk to, but that's not the case of thousands if not millions of kids around the world. A lot of kids are dealing now with abusive parents who do not accept their sexuality or they are inserted in toxic contexts that diminish them and they have no one to talk to.
Please, educate yourself. Get out of your bubble and know what's happening around the world.
I would NEVER be a part of a polyamorous relationship, but if this series ain't gonna be about the three of them being together and having a threesome I'm gonna fly away the way to Thai and have a warm conversation with Star Hunter Entertainment
You trust Mame "implicitly with her deep insights into the human condition"? MAME, the same woman who wrote Love…
She has a weird obsession with problematic topics. I was really surprised that by episode 9 we still hadn't had any abuse, physical fight or drunken scenes. I have to tell you that sometimes I think Mame has some sort of internalized homophobia that makes her think that all gay relationships are based purely on lots of sex, emotional abuse, emotional dependence and endless conflicts.
About the 4th point: Fiat might get drunk and be abused by that other guy or even think he was
oh, yes... that totally happened. it's a BL trope. The girl probably pushed herself into Leo and kissed him. It was all a misunderstanding that will probably cause Fiat's going wild or something. Mame did it on Tharntype season 1 and then again with Tharntype season 2 (and Fiat was even the reason for the misunderstanding, remember?). It looks like this is the only way Mame can write a series finale.
This is better than that last episode with all that psychobabble, where Fiat cried for like 40 minutes straight.…
You trust Mame "implicitly with her deep insights into the human condition"? MAME, the same woman who wrote Love by Chance and Tharntype? You're being sarcastic, right? Please, tell me you are.
Okay okay I'm back again with more scenarios. So in my gc we postulated that pob is playing leon. That he knew…
Well, I could agree with you for a simple fact: remember back in one of the first episodes when he used to have a Leo photo on his phone and he was looking at it very fondly? The orphanage plot made no sense AT ALL to me. But I let it go and just convinced myself to see it as a plot hole.
However, we might be misinterpreting the facts and in the end he wasn't "innocent". He was just shy and because he was totally aware that Leon was a player then he didn't wanna be just another "prey". – if this theory is proved to be true, then it's totally normal that after a bit of time and that courtship, Pob would have opened up and let the shyness go.
But it's just everything too perfect. I'm afraid Mame still can somehown ruin their relationship and that will happen because of or at he big party.
Okay, I was definitely just watching this because of the secondary couple - Leon and Pob are one of the most beautiful, cutest and natural couples I've ever seen in a BL since ever. However, I really thought this was going to be Mame's redemption after so many problematic story-lines. It was all going so well. I didn't care much about Leo and Fiat, but I can't deny the fact that Fiat had a beautiful character development arc so I honestly can't believe she is going to throw away all of Fiat's character development just for the sake of the conflict. We all know that what Fiat saw probably was just a misunderstanding - the girl was pushing herself into him. Leo has always been in love with Fiat and he would never cheat on him, but I'm really afraid Mame is going to use this as an excuse to make Fiat go out of control again, get drunk, do some crazy sh1t or even be abused by that creepy... She did it on season one of Tharntype and then did the exactly same thing on season two (make the two ML fight over a misunderstanding). I hope from the bottom of my heart that I'm wrong and that she won't fk this up.
PS. I hope one of the special episodes is going to be all about LeonPob.
