Deuan really stupid like im genuinely concerned as to how meen is falling for him. But i like that meen isnt settling…
I think it's not his fault. By the ending of the episode, when the brothers are chatting and Wan and Pi are having a heart to heart conversation, Deuan really seems like he isn't understanding any of what Wan and Pi are saying – and I'm not even talking about the medical technical terms. Deuan doesn't know how to deal with feelings and handle his emotions.
Almost 24 hours and I still didn't stop thinking about that ending. They announced this series as being "the first asian gay family comedy series" then they decide to portray it as family that was all built on lies? I was expecting some drama, but this last episode completely went off the rails. And don't bs me with "if there's love, everything can be overcomed".
GMMTV is really managing to keep up the level of the episodes. The feel good energy you get from every episode is amazing. And as a gay man myself who struggles with self esteem issues, I completely understand what's going on with Pi and inside his head.
Also I think this is the first time they portray the relationship among brothers so close to reality. Normally the BL series portray brothers as being estranged from each other, but that's how three people who grew up together in the same household would really act.
Lastly, one gay son is ok. Two gay sons is cool. But three gay sons? It's like having the gay pride parade every day in your house LOL
The episode was being great until the last part. After Wan's advice I thought that Pi would get over Nam, but…
Unfortunately, that's exactly how it goes in real life too. Pi already knows deep inside that he likes Mork, but he has never succeeded in anything he had done, so it's really difficult for him to believe life's being so kind to him. Then it's easier to go for the impossible one - the one that won't really make you face the hard and real things in life - and try to stay away from his own truth.
In the moment he realizes how much he already likes Mork and that Mork is the one he wants to be, he will be able to fully accept himself and will have the courage to face not only his family but society itself.
That's how being a low self esteem gay looks like.
I think it is a good step that they posted this on their Twitter. However, they need to think about their business…
Nadao is RENTING (not selling) the episodes of I Promised You The Moon for $5 dollars each. I live in Brazil and if we converte this $5 dollars into Real, we'd pay 5x this price for a single episode. There are too many streaming platforms out there already and all of them charge in dollars, so there's no way we can cope with all of them at once. They should find different strategies to deliver the contents for us, especially because we're the responsibles for promoting their contents on Twitter therefore opening more ways for them to find investors.
It looks like Asia simply can't give us a gay storyline without some really bad conflicts and suffering, even when it's advertised as "the first asian gay family comedy series"
GagaOOLala announced that the show has been cancelled due to ?piracy?.
I'm not sure it deserves a second season anymore. They've only created that cliffhanger so we would yearn for a second season but the idea wasn't well built on neither it was plot wise.
Not only this, I mean they hid their marriage from Jerry parents for six years as well. I just can't understand…
If I were in Jerry's shoes I would walk away and take a bit of time to think it through. For me this situation would be worse than cheating tbh.
This was announced as the "first asian gay family comedy series", do even though I was already expecting some drama it never even crossed my mind that they would take this chance to portray a gay family that was built on lies.
Ok, as a gay man myself I can understand the fact the Jerry would hide the fact that he was married from his family, but I can't find any explanation or real good reason to justify someone hiding his own son from his husband for SIX WHOLE YEARS.
This episode made no sense AT ALL. The way Jerry was behaving, the fact Damian would hide such a secret from Jerry for 6 whole years - SIX WHOLE YEARS - especially when the series started with Damian talking about how much he wanted to have a kid and also portraying them as a very communicative couple.
Jerry knew about Damian's ex wife and it sounded like they knew each other, so how in the world would he not know that they had a child??? They did it only for the sake of the cliffhanger and the idea of having a second season - and guess what?? SECOND SEASON ISN'T HAPPENING.
And that's why Jimmy and Tommy are one of the top shipps/best couples the BL industry has ever seen! For me this was the best (and only good) episode so far.

I'm very, very disappointed at this series. :(
