The rest of the episodes lacked that magic from the first five especially when we still don't know where the story is going. I felt the drama became draggy towards the end but it's still a good drama thought hence I gave it an 8.

I mostly watched japanese drama/movie and I consider Ryuhei Matsuda as one of the best.

The next doona bae

The haruki murakami of jdrama. He should be the next one to work with netflix, like murakami the appeal of his writing is universal.

Suzuki sensei realized his students are old enough to form their own ideas. He's very honest and that's what I like about the character. He just said having sex with condom is different than without it, he said it's ok but you should know it's consequence. There is no right or wrong in the drama but the best thing about it is that students can have a debate among themselves.

The episode is like the actors audition for their next role, you can clearly see those who are good actors, great actors, and those who can't act. I heard it's a 2 part special.

Thanks for this. I kinda curious as to what happen to her after still the water, but now its clear. Good move on her part to study english as her looks is not just very japanese but can play south east asian roles as well. She also has important role in Blood of Wolves and she did good. I am excited to see her 2 new international movies, so I guess she has a chance to join the ranks of matsuoka & nikaido in the future.

I still think they are underrated because they are not well known compared to others, but I see your point.

She went from super cute to crazy obsessed to dumbest girl in the entire planet. There is also a hard to watch scene that might make you press the X button and go to MDL and give it a score of 1, but please don't do that and at least finish this movie before giving it a score. I am not saying it's a great movie though cause it's not, it has many flaws. The major flaw is the baku character, no explanation as to why he behaves like that, and what's the point of those pictures.

Kanna Hashimoto just fails in a serious role for me. The premise is also lame. "Let's meet here again in 4 years under the meteor shower and let's continue our puppy love cause I'm sure our feelings to each other would stay the same" LMAO. I know this is just a drama but at least make it a bit realistic. It's also very cliche. It's the type of story where an innocent girl would fall in love with a playboy who likes to kiss every girl he sees like how many times we've seen that.

DROPPED

I didn't expect to cry but stories involving kids I just couldn't help but tear up. The story is so touching, it's about how the death of a wife made a person much better and how kids can melt even coldest hearts. The dialogue is not sugar coated it may came as harsh but it's true we thought of that when someone dies atleast for me. The acting is superb, the main character is great at giving advice, he's a writer in the first place but ironically he couldn't apply that to himself. The pace is slow but not koreeda or kawase type of slow.

Every comment I made is just my opinion, same as yours and other's opinion. To each their own of course. Let's just agree to disagree.

I've seen that drama and probably his best. He's a good actor it's just that he's a hit or miss sometimes just like in this movie. Sorry but I don't think he's one of the best, I can name 30+ japanese actors better than him.
