Title Orange Spoiler
Can somebody explain the ending for me please? I don't get it...did kakeru die? So what the actual ending?because…
They can't change the future by doing what they've done in the past, what just happen is that a new parallel universe exist and that universe is what the past characters in this movie will live in.

The thing I don't really get is how they were able to send letters to their past selves.

I've already seen Oguri Shun even before clicking the article link, so I have this grin on my face once I saw his pic. Now what I'm interested is who is gonna play Shinpatchi, I vote for Ikematsu for this role but if we are just talking about the character then Suda has it but sadly he doesn't even have a little resemblance of the character.

I wonder what the plot would be LOL.

Tokue's story has to be the saddest story I've encountered in a movie, but it is also the most inspiring.

Idk this drama has started so well but now it’s getting so boring. They look like father and daughter so I don’t…
it started with stuttering issue, which what interest me in watching this drama, then this music recording thing, then now they kinda go back to the main plot but now she has cancer. I agree this cancer thing in the story might ruined this drama, there is such no need for this.

From what I've seen from the trailer, this might be one of Aoi yu's finest performance, a movie that might regain her form, wouldn't be surprised if she received an award here.

If you find yourself cursing on screen because how pathetic this certain character is then the producers of this show succeeds, that is the main point of her character anyway to make you involved and be invested with her character and watch her to grow. Well this is drama not real life so unrealistic characters exist, on a pathetic level that you would not imagine. About calling a real person pathetic, I haven't done that and probably I willl not, but what I hate the most are those people that intentionally want themselves to look pathetic so that people around them will pity them.

Damn this article has so much details no question that your a fan. You are on spot when you say "convincing" cause he is one of the most convincing actors i've ever watched not just convincing but also consistent, cause I haven't seen any shows that he fails. LIke what cheer said, he can play both intense and cool characters damn well, with that smile and that game face who would'nt right?

It's a shame that I only watched 4 dramas from your post so definitely I am going to check the others especially the old ones, that is what has been missing for me as a jdrama fan, watching those old masterpieces, having no time or lack of subs for those shows might be hindering me on accomplishing that.

nice GIFS btw.

Lately I have this thought that even the most absurds plot in japanese drama has a scene that can move you, and this show maybe is the epitome of that. In the first episode there is this scene where the main guy character pulled a hair inside his nose and showed it to his crush. Why do that? I don't have any **** idea. Having said that, who would have thought that a japanese drama with a scene like that can make you cry. Damn this episode 2 really got me. I don't usually cry in a drama even tearjekers, I'm kinda immune to that, but scenes involving kids and perseverance is my weakness. It is my obligation as a jdrama lover to tell you go watch this drama. It may become one of the best you've ever watched.

If anyone from you wonder what is that song at the end of episode 3 I found this song on youtube tho I still don't…
so it was based from an anime and its kinda famous song, I thought it is not that known, cause I am going to show it to my friend he likes anime and I thought this song is so catchy that he would like it.

Maybe I think too much and the way I view this movie was wrong, they may be smart but they are still kids and the way they handle this is what you would expect every 14 yr old kid will act in kind of situation, so props to those guys behind this film that they were able to show this. The first movie it appears that they will go into something epic but this second movie clearly shows that this is somewhat just a simple case and that lady detective clearly knows that. I hope you guys get my point, it is hard to express my feelings in English cause I am kind of suck at it.

The acting, those kids are still impressive but this time the guy who played Kanbara shows that he is also a great young talent to look up to in the future, that kind of intensity using those eyes can't be done by a weak actor. I forgot to mention the veteran actors before, so this time I will talk about them. I was clearly impressed with the lady detective; I don't know who she is because her name is not included here at MDL. Sasaki Koronusuke as Ryoko's father was impressive too, his connection with his daughter on screen were perfect.

I also love that this movie looks like it was done during early 90's, I mean how they shot some scenes looks like I am watching an old film. But undoubtedly it was the music that gives you a feeling that you are watching an old film, the music here is strong clearly sets up the ambiance in every scenes and also during the ending credits.

Well that how I view this film, it is 10/10 for me because of this biggest aspect I rate a movie which is how it affects me and definitely this is not just a movie but also an experience.

It would be great if they show what would become of the other characters, especially I'm interested too see what happen to Oide and Juri.
On Solomon's Perjury I: Suspicion May 28, 2016
This film has the best cliffhanger in any movies I've ever seen, hopefully the gap between the first and the second film wont be that much becauuse if thats the case then I wonder the frustrations of those who watched this in theaters, this would bug them for months LOL.

Japan has the best and freshest ideas when it comes to movies of this kind. I still have no idea who the killer was, which is a good thing cause it makes me more into this movie, god knows how I love movies that makes me think while watching it. I have never been this excited to see the next installment of any movies actually after watching the first one my hand moves automatically to download the second one XD.

The actors, GOD.....I admit sometimes I was biased when it comes to actors but this one just believe me they are fantastic. I know before, hiroya shimizu was a fantastic young up and coming actor, based from what I've seen from him on worlds of kanako but there are also 2 young ladies that impressed me the most which are anna ishi and the criminally underrated ryoko fujino whose name is yet to be included here on mdl, well that may be becuase this was her first film but that only makes me more excited about this young talent. Anna ishi might have the most difficult character to play among those 3 but god she nailed that character pretty hard, she is damn creepy. Ryoko fujino who I regard as the next Aoi Yu is a newcomer actress, I just can't believe it is her first movie, because from what I saw, she is already better actress than those actresses older than her.

In Japanese movies/dramas, it's not thru actions but thru dialogues that would make you feel that it is damn real, there may have unrealistic overacting here but those dialogues will hit you pretty hard and would make you think....damn it is freaking real.

Pretty good movie, love the cast, tho I find kiritani being too pretty for the role I find her acting convincing. Wonderful cinematography, the music is nice, some random guys appearing lol and that catchy ending song.

Love that sekachu reference XD.

I bet sato takeru will be in it since he's been with his movies this year and sato takeru regard him as his favorite actor.

Water Boys is such a good drama-- if you'd told me before that I'd get choked up over a synchronized swimming…
Yes that finale maybe one of the best finale in a drama ever, now that we are on this topic, I kinda miss sports drama I haven't seen any sport drama from japan these past years.
