just a question? do you like kung fu hustle more than shaolin soccer?? and btw I highly recommend "your the apple of my eye" it is a movie every guy should see.

To me audition makes takashi Miike...takashi miike.

just look at the cast.....yamada, ayano, suda, yagira, kubota....but i have a feeling that they will waste suda, yagira and kubota's talent here.

oh god why no one subbed this one??

how good is he here? and I hope to see him in another asadora maybe some ryuhei matsuda-ish role in amachan.

even if im tired of japanese medical drama, even if lets say this plot sucks I will watch this cause it is tatsuya nakadai's first main lead in years and shina kippei and takito kenichi are both my favs underrated actors.

I pray to all gods the someone will make eng sub for this.

I pray to all gods that someone sub this.

I pray to all gods that someone sub this.

I dont see any talent here even the supporting cast but the plot is cute so maybe I will give this a chance.

how good is this?? ty for reply

I've just watched mare.....this girl can be one of japan's great actresses someday, I sense some chiaki kuriyama vibe in her.

I loved the anime but what I love bout this live action is the fact that norihiro koizumi is the one who will direct this....he is the guy who directed taiyou no uta movie and the liar and his lover.

is there part two...how the movie ended....don't worry i wont be spoiled since i watched the anime and read the manga and yes I agree its better in a dorama format.

I know what you mean but still it was the first time I saw a ghost who aged in a drama/movie ever.

A ghost who aged? can someone explain me the logic about that?

I haven't watched the anime and I didn't like this live action that much and I won't recommend it. The biggest flaw here is the acting..overacting left and right. Only the lead actor and the lead actress did ok and of course, the veteran supporting actors. I didn't care much about the music or songs. I even think that this was made to promote monster hunter game LOL XD.

damn that title....could they choose a different title instead...sound so sexist to me.

I haven't read the manga or watch the anime but i like this movie.....the plot is ridiculous on the wtf-japan-seriously level but theres drama here if you watched that twist near the end. Acting not that special even suda masaki is here, but its a manga type of drama/movie so no complain on my part.

Yeah and the cgi is nicely done...

Things I like

The manga panel thing at the beginning is genius, that majestic fireworks scene is epic(one of the most epic scene I saw and kasumi arimura nailed that one, that catchy ending song fits well.

Thing I don't like yuki yamada as second lead is weak and I also disappointed with kurushima yuina...I know she can do better than that. The middle part was slow and boring.

Just a random thought...is there a romance movie where there is no scene where a guy or a girl running and chasing their love interest?

what if sota fukushi win best actor and beat him LOL.....but koinaka is a good drama the execution and the ost is great.

This drama open my eyes that sato jiro can do serious roles LOL..he really nailed that scene with kubota not just him but all of them.

im sure that acting by kubota drains so much energy from him...every eps...and I wonder if they dubbed his voice here but I doubt it. He deserves an award for this performance.
