I already know before who the real killer is before they reveal it....but is she the real killer??. The smile at inoue mao face near the end is hinting that the director is still sh*ting with us. BTW i did love the soundtrack here and that friendship thing between mao and her friend touch me like those light candles show their emotions.
Lastly with this "with" thing during the ending credits when they show cast names. With Morgan freeman....With Samuel Jackson.....With Christopher plummer, they did that with veteran acclaimed actors at the industry to show respect. How old is shota sometani BTW he didnt past 25 im sure, that proves how fantastic actor that guy is with such a young age. I love all of his movies have substance and great script.
The only good points of the movie is that funny best friend dude of the younger male lead specially the part where he explained the true meaning of kissing. Brilliant acting.
her best role is that alien obsessed girl in starman drama who turned out to be a real alien at the end.
edit: sorry I made fun about her cuteness.....she can definitely act her best performance i correct myself was the young version of aki's mom in amachan.

one of the first asian movie i've seen...and this IMO is a genius piece of scripwriting probably the best and the way doona bae and shin ha kyun deliver their lines and how they act like, it is genius.
About the drama - SEE IT. It is much better than the movie.
problem is free streaming sites didnt have the drama.....and downloading those via torrent is time consuming. I really hate those sites that didnt appreciate underrated dramas like this. BTW i love the opening song in this which band sang it?

just what the f*ck happen?? didnt yamada's character kill sakai's wife, sakai's dialogue that its not all about him makes me thinks that she survived the accident and someone or some event killed her. Also how in a freaking hell the brother of the victim acts so nice in front of the murderer. But its clear that sakai's character wanted to kill the bad guy at the beginning so i was damn confused. I like open ending movie but not to this extent, Just WTF did I watched.
About the movie...its artsy film on a verge of becoming boring even those nice quirky scenes didnt make for that boring development of the story. We all know the confrontation that will happen but the event before that didnt makes any f*ckn sense. I will rate this film below 5 if not for the acting. Talking about the acting this is yamada's most evil role to date. I think that I will like his the character at the beginning "the anti hero" thing, but the character is so evil in a disgusting way. Sakai masato the great sakai masato..its the first time ive seen him in this kind of role IMO his acting here is better than hanazawa naoki, I discovered his versatility cause of this film. And lastly I didnt know ando sakura can sing her scene with sakai is one of the favorite too.
worst sometani movie that I watched......this is a "WTF JAPAN SERIOUSLY" type of movie. Theres are awesome "WTF JAPAN SERIOUSLY" movies out there like fish story etc but this one is a bad one.

the best slice of life drama for me is definitely ozosaki no himawari. I recommend you watch that.....thank me later.
