A. what's the point of getting back together with a person who ghosted you for so many years😠even if I did…
Because they did it out of love
lol just kidding
There is a lot of hope in their relationship. They are willing to talk and trust each other more than in their past relationship meaning they might not make the same mistakes as unlike in the past relationship. I really want Tam to tell Phi the reason, but Paul was the one that did it. However, Tam didn't run away from Phi when he found out nor blame Phi for their break up. Usually, when people make a selfless decision for someone, they would blame them and do the "I did it for you" bit and a bunch of gaslit reasons. I am glad he took the fault in it and explained everything to Phi, even though he didn't said it at first. I still think if Paul didn't said it, Tam would tell Phi soon, maybe on the holiday, but that is a more what if situation.
E. They should forgive one another. I mentioned my opinion in another comment but for me, it is a lack of communication…
I completely agree with you! I like that in episode 5, they recognized their mistake of assuming they know everything about each other and decided they will always be getting to know each other more, meaning it is leading to more communication & a mature relationship unlike their past relationship. I am hoping to see those examples of maturity more in the last few episodes.
I guess I understand that Tam didn't want to stop Phi's dream so he abruptly abandoned him but he should have…
I like that they show that Tam regretted his decision. Usually when the ex broke up due to a selfless reason, then they blame their ex by yelling "I did it because of you" and a bunch of gaslit statements, so I am glad he didn't do that.
It shows maturity from his past self. His past self assumed he knew everything about Phi and knew everything about the relationship that he felt capable of making a decision by himself that will impact their bond. He assumed that Phi would be sad if Tam got the opportunity of being on camera, but will be upset if Tam threw it away. I am glad that in episode 5, they said they recognized their mistake and are willing to always know each other more, meaning they will communicate more.
lol I didn't know that Texans had a different name for it. Is it because it is super hot there, so anything remotely cool feels really cold?
I really enjoyed ep 7. 1. Mix's cameo as his irl job apart from acting was just so nice. 2. Tawan's reason for…
1) I am a bit new to the BL world, so I didn't recognize Mix, but I knew the person was a GMMTV actor because he was handsome lol
2) I knew the reason wasn't a perfect reason since present Tam regretted the decision. They mentioned this in the last episode where both past Phi & past Tam made the mistake of assuming they knew everything about each other and assumed they know what is best in their relationship. I guess past Tam knew if he were to tell Phi, Phi would pretend he would be happy for Tam, but would be angry if Tam threw away the opportunity and he didn't want to be in that situation. Plus, it seems like Tam has been planning on studying aboard, so this plan gives him the opportunity to do that. I think in the next couple of episodes, we will know the factors that impact Tam's decision like the studying aboard thing and his mother. If he had stayed and took the time to teach Phi to do stuff (assuming Phi would be willing to learn, now knowing that not learning hindered his chance on being on camera), they would not have broke up. However, Tam wanted to leave Thailand and Phi had a habit of giving up (he wanted to move back to his mother's farm after 1 year and he gave up on Paul without confessing to him).
3 (technically 4) I think they will make Nudee & Gaogi a thing since they hinted it a lot in the trailer & teasers, but the last episode left me a bit confused since I sense a spark between Gaogi & Yong. However, I think they will give a minor plot line to Gaogi & Yong to say goodbye to their past romance and make them realize that they are better off as friends. Since Yong used to be Gaogi's ex and is Nudee's sister, I guess the writers want to showcase the viewers that Gaogi & him are just friends first and that they have moved on, so he can approve of Gaogi & Nudee's relationship later on easily because some viewers don't really like Gaogi having feelings for Nudee since it is off putting for some that she dumped her brother a day before their wedding and is not hitting on the sister.
I'm sure some people won't be happy with what I say, but oh well, this is my thoughts as of right now...1st. I…
I have no idea why does Paul know like did Yong tell him?! Probably.
To me, Phi was forgiving Tam at the beginning of the show and starting to trust him again, especially when he found out that Tam still loves him. The process of forgiveness really sped up when Solsay got sick. Usually when a major traumatic event happens, it tends to change a person quickly and it opens their eyes wider (metaphorically).
I don't think Phi fully forgive Tam yet, but he now truly trust him and their love for one another. We still have 3 more episodes left, so I think we will see their growth, maturity, and forgiveness more. The little differences between the past and present shows that they have changed and matured, so they are willing to talk it out and know each other, as shown in this episode rather than assuming that they already know everything about each other. I think it will be shown more and better in the next episodes.
I wish they showed it more clearly, but looking at the past flashbacks, when they realized that they worked well together, they didn't split the work evenly. Not that it matters to them because they were happy with the work load and the tasks aligns to the stuff they are good at. However, it looks like Tam handled the research, editing, and filming while Phi handled the presenting. They both handled the topic choice and location picking. Again, I am not saying it is unfair because both were happy with their parts and they stuck with what they were good at, but since Tam did majority of the work and Tam can also do everything that Phi can do, Phi became dependent on Tam. It is not like Phi is dumb or is terrible at doing stuff (I can see why some people think that based on first watch by how they presented the issue), but he refused to learn it properly because Tam "is always by his side", as quoted in episode 3 by Phi when Tam was doing the CG.
With Tam being away, Phi is forced to do everything that Tam use to do. I am not defending Tam's decision, but he did left for himself to study aboard and for Phi to grow. In young Tam's POV, he thought it was the best decision. He immediately regretted it, of course, but his plan did work as Phi reached his dream. I wish Tam was the one to tell Phi and not Paul because I did believe that Tam would build up courage soon to tell Phi himself. I think Tam wanted to tell him once he knew that Phi would not immediately walked away in anger and refused to hear Tam. That is a lot to ask, but I think he might have tell him during the holiday. I wonder if Phi will bring up "were you ever going to tell me" in later episodes.
I am so glad that Dean is alive! Well, he is in a coma under Tony's hands, but still! I wonder if Tony will give him powers once he is well.
I am sad that his injury/sacrifice was all for nothing because Winner is somehow uninjured. He looks like he wasn't even in the blast.
Is it just me or am I rooting for the villains from season 1 more than the heroes? lol Like, Kim (who was displayed as an antagonist in the first half of season 1) is my favorite character. Kenta who used to be Tony's right-hand man is my second favorite. I am quickly liking Dean who betrayed them last season. Even Winner is funny (annoying, but funny). The only heroes that are still in my top liked list are Charlie, Jeff, & North. Everyone else is questionable. Babe is on the border, but slowly liking him again.
Remember me I asked before if we really needed this season now I know the answer is no a big NO because every…
Kim is pretty smart, in my opinion. Too bad, he doesn't have a lot of scenes. I think Willy, Tony, & Dean are also smart. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dumb decisions. The writing really needs to improve.
I guess p Alan has some serious brain damage instead of a back problem 👀 How is him getting stronger gonna…
I have no idea. If I were to guess, since the serum impacts all of your cells, it also impacts how your cells heal, which would probably heal his back with time and make the cells stronger. Since he has a spinal compression injury, maybe the cells are healing his spinal fractures and making the bone stronger, so it doesn't collapse.
I wish the team would have questioned the "Chinese herbal treatment" that Alan went since to my knowledge, there is no herbal or home techniques, including going to a chiropractor for a major spine injury. Maybe they will question him next episode.
I need more Kim! He is super observant! He immediately knew what Alan did with little background knowledge. I wonder if any other characters will notice the mark behind Alan's ear or will they find out through Kim? I think Kenta will be experimented next episode and Kim will save him in episode 12. If Kenta is experimented, maybe he will have his chip removed in episode 12 or the last episode. I really want an argument between Kim & Pete about Kenta since Kim is like the only person who cares about Kenta.
By the way, I really believe that if Kim & Charlie would team up and actively work together, this entire drama would be solved in like 5 episodes or less. Charlie is a super stalker with a dangerous power and Kim is an amazing fighter who reads people like a book. Plus, both of the characters are the most logical ones.
I am not a big fan of the writing (both book & show), but this is entertaining to watch since I am not taking this show besides KimKenta too seriously and I am not too invested in it.
Btw, I noticed in the teaser that no guard is anywhere near Kenta which is a bit funny, considering what happened last time.
Tam was never planning on telling Phi why he dumped him lol😠he himself knows it was too ridiculous
Tam was planning on telling Phi when he was ready back in episode 3. I know that what he said was a vague "whenever", but I trust him that he would said his reasoning soon in the early stages of them getting back together. I think the guilt would have eaten him alive.
I've never seen a reasoning for a breakup so ridiculous 😠in a BL before hehhh? So you're telling me that bro…
It is based on their real lives and that was the reason Singto decided to split from Krist, but unlike Tam, he told Krist.
We will know in future episodes why Tam decided to study aboard and why he couldn't easily tell Phi. We do know the main reasons on why he left and he is not hiding anything else from Phi, but we will know the minor details that affect his decision.
Who said a parent didn't affect their relationship? Tam's mother will be coming next episode.
The reason is not going to be perfect. He made the decision when he was young and thought it was the best thing for them, but regretted it immediately when he made it and couldn't turn back. It is a very human reason. I understand your frustration since I assume you expect a huge angsty episode and then an episode or two of making up. To me, I like how this turned out since we had angst every episode and Phi was tried of the mental exhaustion and he was willing to hear Tam out in this episode. This shows maturity because if it was past Phi & Tam, they would had a huge fight and let their friends or co-workers deal with their mess. Based on how the episodes were leading us, it felt like it can got 2 ways: the big angst episode or the way it went. Both ways make sense.
Personally, I didn't feel like they were edging us. Even though I wanted to know why they broke up, it wasn't the main reason on why I tuned into the show every week. It was one of the main reasons, but I wasn't anticipating it since I was focused on other things like their relationship development the most. I tend to be very patient with shows and trust the process until the last episode. However, if it is the main reason and you really want to find out why he broke up every episode, I understand the disappointment. I noticed that for people in that category, they are mad with this episode. People who had the same opinion as me really liked the episode.
For the GL ship, it is only been 5 episodes for them and we have 3 more episodes left. Since Yong used to be Kaoki's ex and is Nudee's sister, I guess the writers want to showcase the viewers that Kaoki & him are just friends first and that they have moved on, so he can approve of Kaoki & Nudee's relationship later on easily because some viewers don't really like Kaoki having feelings for Nudee since it is off putting for some that she dumped her brother a day before their wedding.
In summary, I would just wait it out. It is easier said than done. However, from what I learned about the final episode of SOTUS, things will eventually click together at the end and come full circle.
I am glad you are enjoying the show! If Phi doesn't want Paul anymore, I can gladly take him off from his hands…
I would let you know once I watched it. Probably in a few months. I hope. I think I should probably binge watched it for a few days after The Ex-Morning ends since I have already planned to watch 4 shows during the fall lol
Ahh I see. For me, I think I would be comfortable if I have someone I can bring. I don't think I can easily make a friend there.
It is more like fancams rather than an official recording. Most of the time it is snippets on YouTube & Twitter. I wonder if the convention would let fans record the entire thing since the Asian conventions usually do. If not, I am used to looking for scraps.
THEY'RE SO KISSINGGGGGGGGG .... Ohk the reason we all were waiting for and I was so hoping it to be very very…
I think it is because Tam knew if Phi were to know, he would have followed Tam. Before breaking up, Phi was already thinking of giving up and moving back to his mother's house.
I like how they made the characters so human, which made sense since it is based on Krist & Singto, just like you said. Usually, when the reason is like this, the person who made the reason would yell at the person saying "I did it all for you" and blame them, so I like that Tam took the fault and regretted his decision by not telling Phi, even if it is a good intention. He just thought it would be better for them at that time, but when he made it, he immediately regretted it, but it was too late to turn back and he felt cowardly.
You are so correct that it feels like them since it actually happened like that. The reason why they didn't do a BL together after SOTUS was because of Singto. He wanted to split from Krist because he wanted Krist's dreams to come true and wanted him to be known as Krist Perawat rather than KristSingto. Unlike Tam, Singto did tell Krist the reason and he agreed as long as they still worked together off-screen like in fanmeetings & concerts.
Also, love the "p.s" because I always do that for my posts.
Looking to the bright side, Tam is not dieing 🙌 , the excuse was a bit lame to me but I guess they were young...…
I am glad a medical reason wasn't involved. I feel like there is a bit more to the breakup. Not saying that Tam is still hiding something, but there might be more to play, especially with Tam's mother coming into the picture.
I was expecting that reason a bit since I know that this show is loosely based on their real lives and that was why Singto & Krist didn't act in a BL for such a long time. Unlike Tam, Singto did tell Krist the reason which was for Krist's dreams to come true and to be known as Krist Perawat rather than KristSingto.
I am glad you are enjoying the show! If Phi doesn't want Paul anymore, I can gladly take him off from his hands…
Thank goodness! I might watch it during the fall.
Unfortunately, I am not. If I were in Europe, I wouldn't have the money since tickets are pricey. Thankfully, there will be people that are going to record and the translators will be translating in English.
I know some people felt them getting back together back in last episode was rushed and I understand since they never talked about the reason for the breakup, but I didn't have a problem with it since I trusted them to talk it out next episode which they did, so yay! Throughout the episodes, we saw Phi slowly trusting Tam again and letting him into his life. He is also healing from the breakup as he knows that Tam always have feelings for him. If Paul didn't tell Phi about Tam, Phi would probably found out soon as he & Tam would have talked during the holiday. Phi was probably letting things flow and trust Tam would tell him once he is ready.
Even though I wanted to know why they broke up, it was not my main priority as I just wanted KristSingto on my screen again lol I was mainly there for the flow. Also, since I am a huge SOTUS fan, I tend to be very patient with shows. Like, if I can survive 13 episodes of SOTUS for the kiss, I can survive 7 episodes of The Ex-Morning for the reveal. Plus, for anyone who ever watched the last episode of SOTUS (the mini reveal breakfast flashback scene), you probably know that things will all click at the end and the questions will get answered. (I hope this is the same case)
Speaking about flashbacks, I love all of the parallels between the past & present. Even though they were apart from each other for a long time and they changed individually, they still fit well together like old times. However, I also love all of the little differences, showing that they have changed and hinting that their relationship in the past will not end the same in the present due to the differences. This is why I trusted them when they got back together last episode. This episode really shows how they matured from their past selves with Tam trusting Phi to do work, Phi doing things with his own hands, & Phi staying calm.
By the way, I am so glad that the cat survived. Since the cat is named after SOTUS, my brain was in the metaphorical world and if the cat died, I would took it as SOTUS dying and their old relationship is severed.
P.S. I was so into the scene that I didn't noticed the refrigerator lol I was wondering why their faces was so well-lit in the dark haha I think the refrigerator has an alarm, so I am hoping they closed it. Knowing that Krist & Singto directed this scene, they probably left it open on purpose to mess with us.
I thought this episode would be like previous episodes with the angst being saved in part 3, but they gave us the reason in the first part! I really like that change in format as the rest of the episode was healing and calming down rather than building up to angst. So far, we already have angst in every episode which I love, but I am glad that things were mellow and the characters were talking to each other.
The break-up reason is so sad since it really relates to real life with Singto coming up the reason for the split because he wanted Krist's dreams to come together and for him to be known as Krist Perawat rather than KristSingto.
I like that they made the reason simple rather than being very dramatic. However, I feel like there is a bit more to the story as we don't know why Tamtawan decided to to study aboard. Since his mother doesn't like Phi and lives in Australia, she probably knew the reason and wanted him to break up with Phi.
I understand why Phi got angry when he learned about Tam's sacrifice. To me, it looks like for years, he was probably thinking the breakup was out of not being in love anymore or something that Phi did wrong. Either way, he probably concluded in his mind that Tam was being selfish, but knowing it was the complete opposite probably gave him whiplash. It really reframes Phi's point of view of the past and changes on how he used to heal from it. All the anger and blame was directed to Tam, but with this new information, Phi might feels it is redirected to himself, even though no one is blaming him for it. It also adds a bit of complexity to the breakup, which makes it harder to get over it.
By the way, how did Paul know?! Did Yong tell him? I do like Yong, but he needs to be a better boss as he is letting the senior employees off easily, not disciplining Tae for bullying, and did nothing when Phi was in his "bully" era until the accident happen. I do wish the best for his love life though. I do want Nudee & Kaoki to end up together, but I sense chemistry between Yong & Kaoki too, so I don't know what I want. I am very intrigued.
I am excited for the future episodes, as always since there is a scene that I have been waiting for forever *wink wink* and we still have the "thugs chasing them on a boat" scene, plus a bunch more.
I just got around to watching last week's episode, but you mean to tell me Willy did all that driving and while…
They really need to improve the action chorography.
I don't think Kenta was dumb as it makes sense for his character to stay as he tends to make sacrifices for the sake of other, even if it goes against his well being. He know that the Pit Babe team cares more about Charlie than him, so he thought he would be more useful to stay than go back. That is such a sad thought and a sad scene when they show the team don't really care about Kenta besides Kim.
He doesn't have a gun, so he was outnumbered in that scene. If he starts fighting Winner who is turned around, he would lose or die as everyone can quickly pull up their guns and start shooting. I wonder why Kenta is opposed to guns as I never seen him hold one. He always used his knife.
lol just kidding
There is a lot of hope in their relationship. They are willing to talk and trust each other more than in their past relationship meaning they might not make the same mistakes as unlike in the past relationship. I really want Tam to tell Phi the reason, but Paul was the one that did it. However, Tam didn't run away from Phi when he found out nor blame Phi for their break up. I still think if Paul didn't said it, Tam would tell Phi soon, maybe on the holiday, but that is a more what if situation.
3 (technically 4) I think they will make Nudee & Gaogi a thing since they hinted it a lot in the trailer & teasers, but the last episode left me a bit confused since I sense a spark between Gaogi & Yong.
I was so into the moment that I was like "I feel like I am forgetting something"
That explains why they had good lighting on their faces lol I just hope the fridge has an alarm whenever the door gets open too long
