This show is far from perfect but I am finding it pretty addictive. Is it me or does it have a hana yori dango…
I am now on Episode 17 and so far it is pretty good. Yes it has some absurd moments and yes, it has a couple of unrealistic premises BUT it is a cute and fluffy show that makes you feel all gooey and mushy inside.

....and I still find the leading man handsome. Fiction is not the prettiest guy but he is kind of cute and his eyes are very expressive.. In fact, I think that's what I find the most attractive about him, his eyes are very pretty.

Not sure this is true. In offgun fun night, he was introduced as a non native....
Oh ok. I kept looking at him in 3 Will Be Free and I kept thinking, he looks Thai except he has a big body but his face is VERY Thai...

It makes sense, you can't take anything Off or Gun says in that show... They love to tease all their guests....

Is Fiction Guo's role here important? Does his character get a lot of screen time? Just wondering... (I really liked him in Accidentally in Love)

It’s weird that you say this. I thought tharntype’s chemistry was more forced and sexual (And truly unrealistic).…
Yeah. I get you. But no, the yearning is not the only thing I meant. Love sick has more sexual tension than PeteKao here.

I dont agree that a couple, especially a GAY closeted couple, doesnt have sexual tension after only 3 years or so together. The tension should still be there and this is even more true if they are in the closet. Believe me. Been there, done that.

HY-TER.
Ok. It is the ai vowel in thai so you can think of it as saying hi or the hy in hybrid.

I like hitter better! ;) oh well. Transliteration of thai vowels is never an exact science it seems...

HY-TER.
Agreed. I take that back. What i meant is that hy is not a word. Hi is. So is hit. If we read this in englis it would be hiter as in hitting something. At least thats how i see it. But you may be right, it could be read as hi-ter.

Gotta confirm myself as hidden Itazura fan. That was my first drama and I kept on telling myself that is the only…
TBH I can't explain it either but I loved it too. I didn't like S2 but S1 was good. The rain scene with the umbrella and the kiss is to me such a beautiful classic scene. Irie is one of the very few prototypical tsunderes that I actually like and sort of understand why he is the way he is....

So I wrote a nice long review of TT and then I hit the wrong button and puff, it went away... :( I probably won't write one then for a while...

I'm one of the rare few who has empathy for Non. When all you've known is a dad like that it can make you feel…
Towards the end, yes, I did like Non a little bit. The actor is great and I would love to see him in some other BLs.

The best Thai bl drama I've watched so far.... I don't get how some say that the acting isn't good. Have you watched…
I will agree partially with you. In TT there is some over-the-top melodramatic acting towards the end (and some in the early episodes TBH). Gulf however is an amazing actor.

But to me New is terrible in DBK. He is the only actor I can single out as bad. Tay is OK here (he is better in 3 Will Be Free), and the other guys and girls are all good. The guy who plays Non is pretty good too.

I think what we are referring to is not the skinship. For example, Noh and Phun in Lovesick are more believable as a couple than Pete and Kao are here. Remember, Phun and Noh kissed only once in S1 and once (but it was cut) in S2. Yet, they just seemed so cute together and Phun seemed like he really wanted Noh. In one of the last episodes of S2, the way Noh looks at Phun is so loving... Thus, they seemed more believable to me as a couple than Pete and Kao HERE.

I think Mew's acting was good (especially working with what he is given), also I don't think the problem is with…
But I still blame the director and not the writer for the creative choices that I think brought the series down a couple of notches.

Now if the guy is a new director then, Kudos to him because some of the scenes were beautifully acted and shot. Is just some were not but with time, the director should improve (unless he is embracing this lakorn tropes and decides to keep embracing them)....
