I agree :) i feel like krist is accepting every straight role in shelf cause he wants to run away from the role…
Interesting! Thanks for the insight! I agree that Gun and Off should not probably do any more BLs as couples but IDK, I personally would be willing to watch them play a BL couple again!
I think the problem with them playing another couple is not me getting bored as much as it would just be hard to find them believable... Like when they fight as a couple, you know they don't hate each other... :)

Oh well, Gun's next show listed here is actually the second season of gifted so who knows... But with the strong chemistry he has with Off, I doubt they will not do BL again...

Ohm Pawat has a new series coming out in 2020 with Krist and it is also a straight one. I hope Ohm does not go down that road, 'cause its going to kill me to loose another great actor to straight roles.
If Singto and Ohm leave BL, that would only leave us with Gun Atthaphan as the only good, leading man, that can cry, and get you on the feels and act for real IMO
Just got to the scene in episode 2 and like.... .in an ideal world - one where we teach people proper consent…
Do you think that kissing him in the neck to give him a hickey is a violation of consent? I feel like it is bad but not quiet that bad. I once was in a situation in which a guy gave me all these hickeys, we were both drunk, so when I woke up the next day I was livid (keep in mind, we were also intimate that night). Things didn't get any better when I confronted the guy, so in the end I was mad at him but more for his unapologetic attitude than for what he did, because in that case I wanted the intimacy part but I did not want all the hickeys. I hate hickeys!
If they follow the Korean version this will be set in HS. So Perawat as a high schooler in yet another straight role? I am not that interested... If I do watch, it will be for Sing... :)
Amen! Not hate! Thailand is top notch in BL and this series is no exception!
Good point! I am loving this one because of the potential here for great character development. This could easily be better than ToL... I mean, the acting and production will never be at the level of ToL but the story could be better...

I agree. After watching a couple of brazilian movies that left me nearly traumatized, I mostly see American TV and movies as lame... Game of Thrones is pretty lame :)
I agree so much. I honestly think of Tharn as Techno said, a really good guy. People will probably hate on me…
What Tharn did at the end of episode 1 was bad but in order for him to do what he wanted to do (I assume that he wanted to give Type a lesson by leaving some marks on his body), he needed to kiss him forcefully like that. But he didn't take things any farther, and I think he may have gotten carried away by the fact that Type was just laying there, too tempting for him, but he stopped himself and didn't go all the way...
At least that's what I got from episode 2.
I think people are too quick to judge.
Also people forget this is a Thai BL, a lakorn, and slap/kiss is a huge trope in Thai lakorns. (I do hope this is not the case here. I hope BOTH characters EVOLVE)
Just watched episode 2. I didn't like Episode 1 a lot but episode 2 was pretty good and if you have only watched…
The only critic I have is that in real life, a victim of rape will react quiet differently to touch during the "flashback" phase of their PTSD. When a victim relives the trauma, that person should actually not be touched... Also in my experience, they don't necessarily cry as much as withdraw...
(I do understand he had a fever and that was supposed to explain his reaction but still....)
But KUDOS to the author and director for calling attention to childhood sexual abuse. On a positive, they also nailed the behavior of the survivor very well: He or she will often withdraw and behave like a child.
Kudos also to the actor who plays Type. That was a hard scene to act... He did well. It wasn't heartbreaking but he did transmit the emotions well enough for me to empathize with the character... (Also for me to remember a similar event in my life where I was Tharn trying to help a certain someone who was like Type, a survivor of abuse).
Just watched episode 2. I didn't like Episode 1 a lot but episode 2 was pretty good and if you have only watched episode 1, you will see that the ending of episode 1 is really not as bad as it kind of looked at first (it is still bad but not as bad!). I felt like episode 2 left me with the idea that Tharn had something in mind when he did what he did at the end of episode 1. You just have to watch episode 2!!!!
I am starting to see that the character of Type is a very flawed character and the character of Tharn has some major flaws. I think both of them will find comfort and understanding in each other arms....
I have a negative comment but it is a spoiler so I will write about it in a post below....
Well.I just finished watching the first episode. Talk reality and what happen to people if you push their limit,…
Episode 2 just came out. I am watching it tonight.
I didn't like Episode 1 as much as I would have liked to but I am willing to watch a couple more episodes.
The acting is OK, not great not terrible or anything just not the best. I just finished ToL, so I may have been spoiled a bit... The acting in ToL was very good. Before that, I watched He's coming to me, with the superb Singto and Ohm, so yes I am too spoiled this year....
The last scene was uncomfortable to watch but I am ok with it if the characters deal with the consequences of all their actions. It does make me wonder, if they start on the wrong foot, how can they ever end up OK together? It is possible that this are two flawed characters who both need to grow as people.
I do look forward to episode 2. This was pretty entertaining. It was kind of light and fluffy for the most part with some heavy stuff towards the end. As I said, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either.....
(On the other hand, Dark Blue Kiss was super entertaining and felt so mature... Tay is a sexy beast and New is actually good in his role... I never watched KMA so I am new to this pairing.. I think October is just going to spoil us all. Thai BLs are just getting better and better!)
anyone knows what is going on with season 3? The actors were together recently and my understanding was they were recording something. Rumor has it, it was S3 or a short series (like reminders). I heard the release date was late 2019. Anyone knows more? there is no page for it on mydramalist...

But this show is not for the morality police or the judgemental. :)

Episode 2 was much better than episode 1 and I can start to understand how Episode 1's ending will probably play out in the whole context of the show.
But this show is not for the faint of heart, thats for sure!!!

PTSD is an ugly thing...
Can't wait for Episode 3!

The linetv app didn't work for me but I didn't try the ONE31 app.
(Yes, I am a fan of Good Morning Call!!)
