as much as i love the old series, this one stays more faithful to the source material and shows how skillfully Toranaga crafts a strategy to achieve his goal.
brilliantly reimagined, great work from production team and all actors.
simple, comforting and sweet it's a light-hearted movie that puts light on complexities of modern life, societal pressures and expectations on single mothers and gender roles.
concept is nothing new, but it's an entertaining series with good action sequences to get you hyped. some things felt a bit rushed and unexplored due to series short length but despite its shortcomings, it was enjoyable.
i enjoyed the dark, moody atmospheric setting, bleak landscapes(as a big fan of nordic noir). it has good action,slow-burning storyline and impressive central performance by heo sung tae. unfortunately the aegerly anticipated part 2 wasn't as gripping as 1st part.
the killing vote was the show i was most looking forward to. in the begining i was hooked on it but to my dissapointment ending neither wrapped things up nor carried the emotional weight i expected.
dark,a little bit artsy and gritty. it's different from kdramas we're used to. its cold colours play a significant role to the structure of the story and give it so much depth. its aesthetically pleasing
suspenseful and smartly constructed. shi-mok and yeo jin had to face new challenges that helped them to grow and despite the adversities they stayed true to who they are. i enjoyed both seasons. we're waiting for the dynamic duo to come back for season 3
a procedural legal drama that feels human.stirs up your emotions and poses some moral questions. people's urge to do the wrong things do not make them necessarily bad..or good.just humans. all the cast is good, and even the supporting cast-i became very fond of their characters. shi mok's and yeo jin's teamwork, their dedication and commitment to justice despite all the hardships is what makes this show so endearing. i wanted to know more about shi mok's brain condition and a better pacing. 8/10
big bet carries a classic and old-fashioned essence of american gangster movies. legendary choi min shik delivers another outstanding performance in his career, supported by a prominent cast that shined particularly bright. second half left a bittersweet taste but big bet definately stands out for its memorable performances and locations.
this was not about yoon hyun woo being re-born as jin do joon. it was about jin do joon being reborn as yoon hyun woo and getting to know his values to grow his wealth
brilliantly reimagined, great work from production team and all actors.
interesting conversation,thank you
