Seeing the trailer, it seems like it was love marriage so you will get to see some of their lovely dovely scenes…
FOE is one of All Time Best love stories. I if we set that as expectation we might get disappointed here. 😂

Can someone recommend a Cdrama with a smart, tricky male lead. Something like young blood, who rules the world,…
Joy of life
On The Story of Ming Lan Jul 20, 2022
Absolutely irreplaceable drama of this genre. The teen days casting of male lead might appear awkward ! If you can overlook that, it’s a brilliant drama. It’s been a year and I still couldn’t find anything as good as this 😭😭😭

I haven’t watched many cdramas. But I’d recommend you to watch “joy of life “ if you haven’t. It’s the best cdrama to me. The male lead is very tricky and the story is a breeze.

No need speak for others, their romance touched my heart)
True ! That’s my opinion though. If it has worked for you, that’s perfect. 👍

Most historical romance dramas are like this - they are slow burns and viewers are rewarded for watching it till…
TBF It is not about impatience. It is more about the weak hearted people like me who can’t get to see lot of problems between main lead. It is not my cup of tea to see the female lead being engaged or in relation with second & third leads and we gotta wait entire two seasons to see the main leads together.
On Who Rules the World Jul 16, 2022
Don’t go by the ratings, you will disappointed. Average drama which manages to pace at acceptable level. There is no breakup but the romance never touches our heart… You can watch it for the star cast and their performance. Action sequences are so damn well choreographed. Zhao Lusi is as usual at her best and shines with her smiling presence and aura around the time. Yang Yang is another positive.

where did you read the whole story summary, please let me know, thank you!!
Cheng Shao Shang got engaged three times in total. The first time was with Lou Yao, the 2nd son of an aristocratic family, but later for the sake of the family and the country, Cheng Shao Shang chose to break off the engagement with Lou Yao, letting him marry He Zhao Jun, whose family sacrificed their lives for the country. They ended up with a happy family.

The second engagement was with Ling Bu Yi. He was attracted to Cheng Shao Shang for a long time, so he requested the emperor to grant him the right to marry Cheng Shao Shang. But in view of Cheng Shao Shang’s “unpolished manner”, the emperor planned to get the queen to educate her for a period of time before the two can get married. During this time, those troublesome girls who like Ling Bu Yi but dislike Cheng Shao Sang tried many times to set some traps for her but failed to do so. Under the guidance of the queen, Cheng Shao Shang became more mature and thoughtful, a person who the queen can trust. With her growth, she and Ling Bu Yi still could not end up together. (I suspect this will be the end of part 1 of the drama)

A few days before the wedding, Ling Bu Yi found out that his so-called father was actually his uncle, who caused the demise of his family. His so-called mum was actually his aunt who switched her own son with Ling Bu Yi to save him, then became crazy. Thus he went beserk & chose the wrong way to take his bloody revenge. In order to save his life, Cheng Shao Shang dobbed him in to prevent the deterioration of the situation. She also pleaded for his life. As punishment, the emperor sent Ling Bu Yi to the frontier and withdrew his marriage decree.

Cheng Shao Shang was heartbroken and never saw Ling Bu Yi again. Later, under Yuan Shen’s frantic pursuit, Cheng Shao Shang chose to be betrothed to him in order to forget Ling Bu Yi. But in Cheng Shao Shang’s heart, she never forgot Ling Bu Yi. While in exile, Ling Bu Yi started to use his actual surname Huo. He also kept tab on Cheng Shao Shang and protected her from afar.

Five years later and being victorious in war, Ling Bu Yi returned and disrupted Cheng Shao Shang’s life once again. He told Yuan Shen to break off his engagement to Cheng Shao Shang but he refused. Until Yuan Shen found out that Ling Bu Yi helped his family and he also found out the depth of Ling Bu Yi and Cheng Shao Shang’s love for each other. Hence the engagement was broken. Then, Ling Bu Yi gave chase until Cheng Shao Shang was willing to reconcile with him, so they finally have their happy ending.

no farewell, no third person. they are very clearly in love with each other....their love story is very satisfying…
Coming here after seeing the love portion drag forever in love like the galaxy. My heart can’t handle the troubles between couples and the long waits to see them together…..
Yang Yang always pick those happy stories which perfectly suits my taste ♥️

Still I come back to the few good romantic moments between lead pair. Unfortunate that they had made it a mess using the second lead character who would be way too creepy and scheming for majority of episodes.

Since there isn’t much worthy dramas I gave a rewatch again. Too much of expectations made people to review it bad. But this is one of the best action dramas so far made. There are many high moments which will give that adrenaline rush. Few of the exchanges are so classic !

Just remember that it isn’t a romance drama , you will be good,

Regardless, it is the people that suffers through war the most and what it is outstanding of this for my POV is…
That took few days to respond ! Anyways, why isn’t NATO reasoning the root cause of issue which is NATO expansion ? This war was expected and predicted throughout last decade ! Several Western political advisors already pointed out NATO is wrong. I am done with your “don’t follow narrative of media” and “freedom” discussions without analysing the whole story .

I just linked a tweet which cites warnings of why NATO should stop here to avoid war.

Internal politics or coups or whatever happened war is not the solution…Ok leave the damage done to Ukrainians,…
Ofcourse I feel bad for all the people involved in this war. But what is your advise to Putin ? Let’s say there is no war and NATO continues its expansion until the Russian border through Ukraine and restrict access of Russian sea routes. What next ? Putin is 70 years old and he will die soon, but what about Russia as a country which has to survive several more centuries under the threat of their arch nemesis controlling their Easter sea route and borders ? Don’t you feel this as same as war ?

Why would NATO force Russia to face this situation ? Do you feel it is for world peace ? Or for their personal benefit over Russia ?

Now they are saying that they have to reconsider requests of Ukraine to join NATO / Europe since it might trigger heavy war. If they are aware of this, why did they acted as an ally with Ukraine and encouraged them to fight Russia ? If NATO didn’t push this nonsense move in the name of freedom and democracy, would we have seen this calamity now ?

But hey, that all doesn’t matter. Russia attacked, so they are bad, right ? They cannot attack may what their enemies do to threaten their sovereignty. Because peace is important. Now what is peace ? Just listen to everything West dictates quietly.

I think the world should account everyone involving in the buildup of war rather than pointing fingers at one country. Only that way we can stop future expansions and proxy / cold wars which eventually leads to disasters and loss of lives .

A free country can act as they wish but they should also consider how their move will affect their neighbours and what will be the consequences. US and Russian enmity and their proxy wars are well known to the entire world. By allowing NATO, Ukraine restricting Russian access to West and providing strategical benefit to West In future wars. It is a devastating move for Russian military. So Ukraine are bound to become a battlefield.

Ukraine’s ruler could have taken NATO and Europe help to have talks and find solution with Russia by being a neutral country rather than announcing their interest to side with West which implies they are ready to fight Russia though they didn’t say it straight.

You may argue by text book saying that Ukraine doesn’t need to care about their neighbors since they are a free country. But reality isn’t like that. Ukraine wouldn’t have gained NATO’s interest if only it is not a strategically important place for Russia. No free food In this world, my brother. Every single step taken by NATO is not for the benefit of world, but for the benefit of their respective countries.

For instance both NATO and Europe knows how much of a loss it will be if they directly involve in war against Russia. So they are only gonna be supplying weapons to fight war and implement financial sanctions over Russia but not gonna allow Ukraine into their unions after luring them into this trouble. Means both NATO and Europe target of ruining Russian reputation and to suppress Russia financially is achieved. Now Ukraine is no more of importance to them.

PS : I am not justifying Russia here. Just asking not to blindly follow the narratives we see in media. While we condemn the Russia who started war which leads to loss of lives in Ukraine, we should also condemn the strategical expansions and political moves by West which caused this disaster today. We had seen enough proxy wars in the world and several nations are fighting for decades without a resolution! Let’s not drag Ukraine too into a never ending war for political benefits,

It’s a beginning of war and countries should think of a way to stop war and bring peace to Ukraine.

Well, almost a decade Russia tried to talk through this issue with Ukraine to stay neutral and not side with NATO considering the fact that Ukraine being a strategically important place for Russia in warfare and transport.

But NATO pursued their interest and encouraged Ukraine till here despite knowing where it will lead. If you think beyond what you see to decide right or wrong, you will find that Ukraine was being played as a proxy battlefield to trigger Russia. Russia either had to allow Ukraine to be part of NATO & see US army gets access to their borders and restrict their sea access or fight a bloody war which will lead to loss of lives and financial crisis.

Either way West / Europe is happy as long as they don’t need to fight a war by themselves and have Ukraine fight it. Now that the war has started between Ukraine and Russia, both NATO and Europe said Ukraine cannot be part of their unions officially but they can fund and supply weapons to keep them fighting the Russians. Also they can sanction Russia as they want. Who benefitted by the end ?

So much for peace keeping mentality of NATO and Europe that they act oblivious of their actions and pretends as if everything happened coincidentally in Ukraine, while even a common man with limited political knowledge knows that Ukraine joining NATO will only lead to disaster and war.
lo_ve Mar 1, 2022
Good gesture. But most of the Ukraine war discussions only has been shown from Ukrainian viewpoint and not even the Russian speech about this war was broadcasted in media which is a bit puzzling. Until 2014 Ukrainian country was a strong supporter of Russia, then overnight a coup happens which overthrow the current government and decides to join NATO / Europe. Then the usual pattern of war and calamity. The very same pattern which we had seen in many countries where NATO stepped on.
It appears like whatever West broadcasts is news, whoever they banish are evil, whatever they prefer is international laws ! Many countries criticise invasion but they overlook NATO expansion which also raises threat and trigger unnecessary wars like today. Let’s be honest, we don’t want war and we should equally criticise these silent warfare by West who act like a saint after triggering a calamity.
