Sorry, I follow almost all comments here since reading comments here is the way to kill my free time. So I happen to remember faces and what they write, including yours. You were not finding any trouble until 3 days back where you had completed almost 20 episodes. So it kind of annoyed me when you self proclaimed a reason you heard but not seen in drama as why you avoided this drama.

I didn’t assume ! I was there during your past discussions to have an idea of what you are about. Maybe the new fellows who came in support didn’t follow the whole history of conversations and just moved by your edited replies. But you do know what you wrote all these days and what my reply was pointing about.

For now let me assume and believe that after ep 20 the credits got changed and you figured this drama is “avoidable” for you. Because it’s your opinion by the end of day. An highly valued opinion of a doctorate student.

But doctorate student, fixing grammatical errors are never an issue. But deleting / adding a few lines which could change the context after the conversation is close to editing answer paper after it was being evaluated. It forces the people involved in a conversation to read and adjust the past conversations again to match your skilful innocent new replies.

Lol ! If you assume so. So basically there shouldn’t be any important female character ( except FL) around the male lead since there might be a possible relationship development in the future ( even if they aren’t romantically involved now) and that makes a drama avoidable for OP according to you.

There is no female interests so far. Where did you get your conclusion about three female interests ? Even the main female lead Jiang Ni isn’t romantically involved yet ( although we can see that XFN cares for her ).

PS : I can see you had read the endings of book from nine novel website and thrown your assumptions even before anything of that sort happens in the actual drama. So you can stop citing that as your reason to avoid this drama for now.

Wang clan is sent back to North Liang. XFN is travelling to Wudi to get back Old Huang’s sword box. So they will meet after XFN goes back home.

He becomes the king of North Liang. Then fights to avenge her mother’s death and to defend Liang. By winning wars he become eligible to become emperor of whole Liang. But he doesn’t take the throne. Guess he resume as the king ?

I think the idea of ML buying time using his bodyguards is because he is unprepared for big battles. He can make one or two good moves to defend or quickly defeat, then on constant battles he will lose.

Then I agree with the battle being not in sync. Though there were some good moments, the whole experience was unsatisfactory.

Yes, drama is still one of the best. This is the first episode I felt disturbed. Otherwise I was thoroughly enjoying it until ep 20.

The slow fight scenes of other episodes didn’t bother me. Actually I liked the finer details.
But ep 21 is kind of horrible. 40 mins of fight scene didn’t really bring any excitement.

Just reached around ep 22. Yao , 16th night assassin’s character was a surprise and very well done by both actress and writers. So far that is the highlight for me. It moved me like never before and left me in all tears.

One of the sincere love stories which is fated to end on a sad note. Her pain that she couldn’t say anything or be with the male lead despite doing a lot for him was acted very well. Seems, Gao is spared alive because of her true love for him.

My heroic husband - the title is certainly wrong if you feel wife has no importance in the story. Better name it as Life of Ning YI or whatever so that the people who set expectations won’t be disappointed.
