not romantic, no comedy, just a weird concoction of whatever. very bad writing. The first episodes were good but this went down with every episode. nothing makes much sense anymore. Instead of giving us Do Han's story with his ex, they brought this mystery of dead mother why. And how cruel of the grandfather to have these talks with his grandsons only after they've been suffering for 20+ years. The dialogues are particularly odd, main characters talk a lot without saying nothing and the communication has not been flowing naturally.
In the end Seon Yul will realize he destroyed his own life and others with the revenge and what then. He's trying to convince himself he loves inflicting pain to others but deep down inside he knows it's not the way to go and that he's not that person (aka a full psycho). Yuri's panic attack after being abused by her mom and Soo Hyun's tearing up in ep 9 were so realistic. I don't find the drama overly dramatic, rather, the plot is built like a classic Greek play.
Very satisfactory, entertaining, non-stressful drama. Great team development. The ending was perfect. None of the dreaded romance. Except for Joon Young, that was so cute. Hope it stays that way in S2.
Totally disappointed.... you just wrote what i felt
We're not supposed to say these things. Same thing with Park Hyung Sik who was mostly intolerable in Doctor Slump. I guess we just don't welcome hysterical attacks from the babies.
Ngl, she aced the action roles in the past but man, Jongseo gotta work hard on her emotional scenes. EP8 ending…
I get increasingly frustrated with her acting. Yes, she was different in the first episodes and in the action scene. The acting is somehow off, because she's unresponsive with her co-actors, she doesn't even look at them when they talk. The same straight face all the time, lines delivered in a very flat tone. If she was more lively and emotional, I'd have enjoyed the last 2 episodes more, despite the standstill situation.
I really enjoyed the first six episodes. The FL was fresh and unique. But in 7 & 8 she turned into a typical,…

I haven't been able to watch any of the ep during the past 2 years. But I tend to check the first 5 mins. They've gone from roasting each other to roasting the guests which doesn't sit well with me. Oftentimes the guests are visibly uncomfortable. Namgoong Min said it very well, "what's this, I thought you'd bash me but you are praising me" (My Dearest ep was the only one I've watched, half of). The bros are no doubt paid well but now they just expect the guests to bring all the comedy. The new setting doesn't help bc the guests are not in the teacher position but rather like defendants in a court setting.
I think they covered the topics of healing, growth and forgiveness well. The romance is a little too cringe for…
