You can tell that a writer doesn't actually watch dramas when it has to make a heading referring to an actors small recent role and not his big award-winning roles.

This drama is absolutely wonderful. I don't know why it's not well known, it's on par with the very best k-dramas. There is so much realism and bigger and smaller problems, but all of it portrayed through a very comforting and optimistic lens. This scriptwriter is one true humanist. All of the main characters are basically flawed but viewed in such sympathetic and empathetic manner, you just grow to love and understand all of them. This is an ensemble and found family drama, the hair salon employees are all equally main characters. The romances (both young and the mature) are incredibly sweet. There is a philosophicizing narrator who is both wise and understanding of bigger and smaller challenges in life that it makes you feel you yourself are being heard and understood. All of the actors are great but especially Park Jung Woo. 9/10. Highly recommended.

This is the drama, right? Because otherwise it would be a very bad case of plagiarism. Everything is the same, except minor details. I watched The Dude less than 2 weeks ago. Major difference, the ganster was a part of a chaebol family in the Dude, here the student is. I'm liking this drama, it's very entertaining.

I loved Salon de Nabi, awesome writer. When I came to check what else she has written, Age of Youth is also a big favorite of mine, and loved Diary of A Prosecutor. Her dramas are gold! Pls let there be more!

yes, as for Met Gala where Stray Kids were mistreated in the most disgusting ways possible, is prob not full of the most admirable people on earth, and Skz just happened to get their share of the general atmosphere.

There are hundreds of k-dramas to watch that aren't boring even for a moment and keep a strong pull through all 16 eps (I've watched 550+ so I think there's honestly no reason to stick with MRIH. I'm watching Salon de Nabi atm, it's realistic, romantic, sad and funny at the same time. Empathetic treatment of everyday and bigger problems and worries, no crazy melo characters.

haha indeed. One Spring Night was already a replay of Something in the Rain. I've watched SITR twice and love it, but One Spring Night was a drag to watch (putting it mildly). Sitting out 3rd and future rounds.

Last episode was pure joy. 10/10. Will definitely watch again.

I agree, it's very basic. No doubt it will win all the awards though.

I can acknowledge this is a well made and well thought out drama that really makes you think. But I had to skip a lot. The torture scenes and violence were a bit too extreme for me. And now I'm thinking this could have been so much better and not so basic if that aspect had been toned down; it didn't have to be that extreme. How great it would have been if they the participants started to take the show into their own hands early on. 6.5

getting better and better. The direction it's going is perfect. Loving this to bits. The cham cham cham uncle is hilarious. 9.5/10 so far at ep 8.

I'm seeing the same thing, honestly. It's not slow burn just slow and boring. Nothing justifies calling it a "quality drama". Btw I dropped in the beginning of ep 2 bc all of the blandness was quite obvious by then and I was watching Begins Youth which grabs your intestines and pulls them out but in a good and purifying way.
