I just wish he'd have something worthwhile to say when he must speak the truth. He still should have the ability to judge what's worth saying. And how can they have a dating show with such a small cast. Joo Jong Hyuk is way too charismatic here to be 2ML, he's stealing the show, at least for me. Although this drama is stupid and the humour is on the cheap side, it's somewhat entertaining. Hearing "Candy In My Ear" in karaoke made me miss Ok Taecyeon as a romcom ML.

I feel the same. Byon Woo Seok was so good in Record of Youth, how could it take so long for him to be noticed... and Hye Hoon should have become A-lister immediately after Extraordinary You. I'm very happy for them and they really deserve the love.

based on the first 20 mins, decided to skip this one. (Of this week's new k-dramas I find Begins Youth seriously awesome; Crash is very promising based on ep 1, Midnight Romance in Hagwon is also a clear skip for me).

Yes, prob not for me. Although I think melodrama is quite the opposite to realism. I loved Something in the Rain though, there was no craziness in it.

I wouldn't recommend, so many better dramas out there to watch. If you're looking for intelligent humour, this ain't it. Maybe there will be satire when they start the dating show but I doubt it. I get a lot of second-hand embarrassment from the ML's behavior.

Why the melodrama tag? There will be the schoolteacher turning into a psycho stalker with his revenge and that's the melodrama aspect. Also the father going crazy about ML's decisions is forthcoming, obviously also some melo in that direction to be expected. I'm not fond of melodrama, in any shape or form, I guess I'd better wait and see the comments after this has ended.

You're nailing this indeed. What made Something in the Rain so good was Jung Hae In and his awesome acting, in retrospect. The chemistry really carried that one. I already didn't like One Spring Night at all, it was too much of the same. One Spring Night had a melo psycho in the form of the FL's ex, and this one will have the same from the disgraced teacher.

So, the difference between irony and metaphor became very clear, but I do hate to be back at school.
