This show deserves to see the light of the day. One last work from yu meng long for the world to see. If there was no foul play they should be pushing for this show's release as a tribute to him
I Started this one and I am already in through 5 episodes. It's is a great show, something fresh and brilliant screenplay. so far no over the top drama, twists.
Vegeterians stay away from this drama, being one myself i usually avaoid cooking theme asian shows as they tend to have more graphics of the meal prep. i had hard time getting through those.
but despite that the plot and the vibe is slightly refreshing.
Only the eating lunch part felt like hospital playlist but this show felt it's nothing similar to it by the end of ep 2. The First Episode was just setting the stage. and i see a lot of conflicts, mystery, love drama @ workplace coming our way. if you ask me it gives me the vibes of LJS's "While you are sleeping" and "Pinochchio" in some way hoping for a good show. LJS took his sweet time picking a show after the bigmouth.
Someone please tell me what might be the age gap of ML and FL here? She said he was in law school, while she was…
If i remember it correctly, ML was in law school when he first went to hong kong, and FL was in undergrad. so when the first met there must be an age difference probably 1-4 years.
she might have switched careers to pursue one in law
For Some Reason, Zhang hai(XZ) comes across as not so smart character. doesn't have control over the situation, gets played by others always only to emerge a victor at the end. And that too not by tactics but sheer luck
such a strong 1st episode. damn. my hopes are up. Xiao Zhan's shows were never disappointing uptil now. And I am keeping my hopes up and rooting for this one too.
This Plot is close to "LOVE LIKE THE GALAXY". and LLTG was flawless in every aspect especially acting and making sure the audience is hooked in.
compared to LLTG this fell short by miles. Not sure how it ended up an 8.8, i would rather see at 8 rating. Acting ain't that great, plot is also so slow and at times I felt disconnected to the show.
a horror movie. i watched it knowing the ending, but what i didn't expect was to think the castration wasn't…
fact is the relationship between king and the general was always one sided, the general ended up being stuck in the palace as a help to king since childhood and ended up as the king's sexual prey. couldn't even explore his desires because of the fear for what might the king do. and finally an opportunity presented itself.
with regards to the deep affection that bloomed between the queen and the general was due to the circumstances they both are in, both prisoners, can't escape the fate and the king. it's not that they found it in first coitus session. it took some time. so they found solace in each other which bloomed into love.
Story, Production and screenplay are flawless. fell short on acting, i am not convinced of either the ML or FL.
being a non-chinese i watch these shows and theier stories just as fiction novels. as outsiders we will never know how far or close to the truth these are, but one thing is for sure is no nation is spotless, everyone has skeletons.

or is there a sequel in plans for this.
Good Stage Setting screenplay for his character in the first 2.5 episodes.
As Usual Yang Yang Doesn't disappoint with scripts
