Here is the thing, Crown Princess even though she trusts LiNi to be righteous and just, doesn't trust the people and circumstances around him will let him abide by the promise. So She & General Han are acting in caution by handling great imperial grandson themselves.

I bet if the grandson is alive by the time his turn comes he will move heaven and earth to put him on the throne as promised & even trick CuiLin while at it, i think this is where the story is going at.

AAAAhhhhh, i am just crossing my fingers and hoping the writer doesn't give a heart-breaking end for the couple.

Personal Opinion - Although this show has similarities in terms of story-telling, schemes, romance and chemistry with "Love Like The Galaxy" & " Who Rules the world", it falls short to them in terms of cinematography & action - especially action, very little of it in the show.

There is also the option of LiNi being regent until the imperial grandson is of age to be crowned. He and CuiLin both could be good mentors to him.

but if LiNi becomes king ti could go two ways the kingdom could have a good rule until he is alive which will spiral into chaos after OR he could end up in the web of politics and become another incapable king.

but instead He could set the precedent of smart people mentoring the prices in the coming ages which also can go to S**T down the lane.

But i am rooting for both of them to be free birds and create a family of saviors for when the kingdom needs them.

Started watching, the first episode captivated me. the tone of the show and story telling so far good.

Understand what you guys are getting at but LiNi is thinking of peaceful & better future for little LiNis and Little CuiLins..... hahahaha :-P

lets see where the writer will lead this story.

Just finished watching previews for E 25 & 26, Cui Lin should just F****ng Stop. She is going to push LiNi into an oblivion

Going into the capital was never her idea, she is the one who tagged along as she said she could be helpful with all the secret network she has, which is why LINI also let her tag along.

Both Who rules the world and Love like the galaxy share similarities with this one. both of them are great shows.

As expected, SML did shit all over the place and that too on the benefactors. it deserves him right to dies in the coming episodes as shown in the preview.

She & the SML both will create troubles for the romance.

Damn loved e 11 & 12.
after 'love like the galaxy' these is another period c-drama i haven't used FF while watching the show.
story telling(screenplay) is so good.

I Wish i hadn't started the show until all episodes were aired.
just finished watching the previews for E9-E14, man i am disappointed in ML being outfoxed in the stead of his love atleast from what i can grasp from the teasers. i am sure it's the doing of SML.lets see.

now i am in a dilemma should i wait around for the show to finish airing or should i continue this daily agony of suspense. :-P

I am loving it at the same time also fearing it for the tragic parts that are about to come up.

this is better than 'Love so beautiful' because the personalities of ML and SML are reversed and ML's personality is so heart-warming unlike the SML's in LSB.
and on par with Reply 1997 or 1988 , but Go Ahead is another level to this one since it's a pure Slice of Life Show.
