LOL, RZZ is not lakorn doormat level. Trust me, I know. Sometimes some things do not need to be said. Better to not let other people's BS get to you. What good will come out of her exploding/arguing back with XYN's family? Not like they liked her to begin with. Not worth her time. She at least told the brother in law to leave. She can't say anything to him, because she doesn't know if XYN really did borrow money from You Gang. She has no proof. As for the parents, she's not allowing them to bully her. At the end of the day, that is still XYN's parents. The parents of the man she did once loved. Chinese culture is also heavily focused on respecting elders, so I can understand her in that area. Doesn't excuse but people are wired differently and hold different values/morals. We all know she's not going to let them live with her. They've been bullying/accusing her of everything since she's been with XYN so she's not phased by their negativity. There's really no point in trying to be reasonable with XYN's parents when they're already super unreasonable and are set in their own ways. What difference will it make if RZZ exposed everything about XYN to his parents? It's not like they're going to believe her without any "proof" because in their eyes, XYN is a great and successful son. Not everything always need to be said or argued back. Does not need to be explosive. To be able to remain calm and hold back from exploding already makes one a strong person. She is strong in her own way. Just because she doesn't say anything doesn't make her weak or a doormat. She's going through something traumatic and life changing. Things like this can make people react and feel a certain way. Her emotions are on the high as she's in a big debt she's not aware of and is surrounded by shady ppeople. Better to remain to oneself. She has a reason for how to reacts to things. You just have to expand your mindset and look at things from her perspective and from other angles, not one sided.

It doesn't help that everything just so happens to be happening at the same time. Her friend is investigating the case at the building of her "late" husband's work place and is collecting evidence from her which creates doubts. It's almost like, "aren't you investigating the stuff from XYM's office but you're taking all these paperworks from me?" Not sure if the friend even has the right to take any of those evidence/paperworks from RZZ. Also, RZZ doesn't know what findings they've found and how the investigation is going so Su Wen taking all these documents that RZZ needs for the lawsuit is fairly unnecessary. Like, her excuse was to read it to learn. Not sure how that made any sense. But so far Su Wen shows that she's not a snake or anything but who knows at the moment. I think they're just playing with us rn to make us think that Su Wen is doing something behind RZZ's back but she's actually innocent this entire time too.

No, I agree. I was actually never a fan of slow burn romance but as I get older, I prefer it over fast romance where they're already in love by the 5-10th episode out of the 40 episodes lol But of course, like you said, the slow burn romance needs to be executed well with build up. Not like, "i like you" being said towards the end and there's little to no hint/buildup at all along the way that showed they even liked the other person lol This drama is doing well with it, so i guess that's why i really like/enjoy the drama so far. Very well executed.

Can't wait for her to find out his true identity, and us too. lol I've been following this drama since it aired too, and I just love everything about this drama so far. I'm a big fan of slow burn romance and when the main leads complement one another. Their characters are very smart and strong yet they're both still so opposite from each other. The slow pace doesn't bother me. I like it when there's buildup in both the main lead's character and relationship. I don't like it when things are revealed quick and the romance is too early, so this drama has been having the right amount of everything for me. lol Aside from every character being sketch, including her friend Su Wen, I hope "Gao Jun" redeems himself to Ruan Zhen Zhen before the end bc what he had done before to her has been enough to inflict trauma/harm on her even though he has helped her many times in between.
