Princess hours is the first kdrama with that kind of a theme and the most popular one but there were also many dramas that followed this theme, like Prince hours, King 2 hearts, The last empress and The king eternal monarch. I'm also excited for this drama tho because i love this theme and both IU and Wooseok

Yes but princess hours was made by group 8 and when they announced about the remake it was said that group 8 will make it(and actually it was group 8 that announced it first). Wife of the 21st century prince is produced by mbc and kakao ent. and the script was selected as the winner of a drama script contest by mbc in 2022
I think the majority of people are still supporting her but there were many mixed opinions too. I agree they should ignore hate comments, because it's not helping at all. Some people started wondering that if she's clean, why she's still not making a comeback, and i think they are partly right. Delaying is not helping unless they're preparing for promotions, but it doesn't seem like that either.. Honestly i think her studio is at fault too by letting all these rumors slide like that... If they had handled the rumors better back in the day, her situation wouldn't escalate like that either.. In the past, it was again the public opinion that pushed for an investigation, since she wasn't notified by the tax bureau like other artists...

I think one of the reasons iqiyi is delaying this drama constantly is the public opinion...One day after fangs of fortune ended, song zuer posted on her weibo(that was her first post since september and her second since last year) and unfortunately there were still many people bashing her, calling her tax evader and ignoring completely her studio's announcement, or comparing her case with other actors/actresses that were banned because of tax evasion, saying that if she can do a comeback, the others can too etc. So i think it's hard for her to comeback right now...
If iqiyi has started the pre-broadcast investment promotion why they're not posting anything? I don't understand... either they have to airdrop it or start to post something about the drama. But they're not doing any of it. It's so frustrating...

I read somewhere that the prisoner of beauty had started theirs before everything happened and that it ended around june(probably because the drama was supposed to air around that time). Yeah i think it started in Love like the galaxy and Love between fairy and devil since these dramas also aired in a similar time period. The two dramas had different genres and i enjoyed them both(like now) but it seems like people love comparing for no reason..
