I don't think they will ever let us know about the progression of the post production. The actor i metioned deleted his post after it reached the hot search. We can only assume all the actors are done with the dubbing. I only read rumors about them starting the OST making in October last year(not 100% sure if it's true).

TPOB uses original voices. There is no need for dubbing, they probably already finished the dubbing for necessary scenes, as last year in January an actor posted that he finally dubbed all his scenes. Which means that the post production was continuing normally at the time.

Yeah, i don't understand why chinese entertainment works like this, it's so frustrating...I'm not sure if being banned on weibo is enough. It could be just for rule violations. But nevertheless, if the re-investigation is true, then i want an official result as soon as possible. And even if it's not at least i hope her studio can share more details about the progress. Song Zuer told her fans to wait a little more but it's already been 3 months.. If nothing is gonna change or one of her dramas don't get released soon then what is the point of waiting.. Hopefully you are right about iqiyi. They also didn't perform well last year so they have to do better this year. TDHR already has a distribution license and CIC has passed the review, so i hope one of those can air before April. But i still don't think TPOB is gonna air in April. But maybe they will start giving hints like TGH.

I know about these things and that the authorities not coming to confront her is actually a good sign, but the problem is, that's not how most cnetz think ufortunately.. A lot of people don't even know about the statement.. I wish her studio could do a better job too.. Her fans are demanding for them to post anything about the progress of the matter these days but they do nothing and she's getting hate for something every month.. I'm sure she will post again on the 12th for the lantern festival, but then what? She can't just stay with posting things on weibo and there are no special occasions on the upcoming months either. They have to make something differently. If it's technically proven that she didn't evade taxes then why her dramas don't post anything? Why companies don't even show her face on clips for dramas she's in? I know it's risky but it doesn't make sense.. And i read somewhere that apparently when she was accused the authorities said they would post the updates. I don't know if it's true or not but even if it's not can't her studio tell them to post a statement too? I mean why not? And there are also the rumors about the accuser wanting a re-investigation and it being approved on October. Again, not sure if it's true but i saw the statement(i can't say if it's edited or not tho). I just wish one of her other dramas could get released at least(since she's not the 1st lead i think it would be easier than tpob). But i don't understand what iqiyi is doing... Yeah i also think having GTTMAS in the list for the first half is strange, but then i saw that the director was pretty unlucky with previous dramas so maybe they're really gonna rush the post production. But i agree it can air later. For Song Zuer, the thing is, if she doesn't make a comeback or the authorities doesn't clear her name, her dramas can't air(or at least easily). Her case in different than Angelababy's, who was soft banned for attending the crazy horse. Song Zuer was never banned because she was under investigation but even tho her studio posted a statement, the authorities didn't say anything. Because of that a lot of people are still considering her a tax evader. There were even people saying her studio's statement plays with words etc... I'm sure they're even gonna boycott her dramas if they air them like that..

I actually think that it's more possible for them to release it in May-June. TPOB was the last drama in the list of the historical dramas for the first half of the year. They'll probably release The glory first, then the TGH in March. After that maybe they're gonna release The litchi road or Go to the mountains and sea(idk why they want to release it so soon since the filming ended in october)in late March/April. Then maybe The legend of the female general in late April/May. And i feel like TPOB will be the last among all these dramas. It was originally meant to get release in summer last year anyway(summer is a good time for S+ dramas). Even tho they lost so much time, they still need to maximize the profit. For that they also need to do an actual promotion too, but they can't do that without Song Zuer making an official comeback. So releasing it in late May/June wouldn't be bad actually. Of course, all these are just the best case scenario..

Usually when i want to see something about the filming date(when it started or ended) i go to the photos and search for photos of the booting ceremony and when they got flowers(for the end of the filming). I don't know if it can help you tho😅

It's unlikely that it can happen these days because it's still the holidays(even tho people got back to work a few days ago). Let's see after the spring festival ends. But honestly i don't think tpob can air before April if they're planning to release it this year.

After someone accused her of tax evasion in August 2023, she was under investigation for a whole year, and finally in August 2024 her studio stated that she didn't evade taxes. That one year she wasn't banned but she still stayed silent and didn't post anything. After her studio's statement the authorities didn't say anything even tho everyone was expecting it. I read on weibo tho that apparently the person who accused her wasn't satisfied with the results so they wanted a re-investigation and it was approved. If this is true, then there should be an official statement by the authorities by the end of this month. In December, Song Zuer told her fans to wait a little longer and now there are speculations that she's slowly coming back. Nothing is clear unfortunately but there were little hints here and there about tpob these past months so that still gives me hope..

I think the number 3 hinted by an actress means March, and not February 3. The drama doesn't have a distribution license yet and there's no news about it. Or they're waiting longer to get the distribution license and they're still planning to release it in February

True but it's not like she had a choice. She had to suffer for the things her grandfather did. I wouldn't call her toxic. She knew how her cousin's life ended tragically in her previous life and how much she suffered till the very end. When she got married in her place she was basically walking on eggshells most of the time, so she wouldn't have to face the same ending.. And even in relation to the ML, she never did anything wrong.

Oh yes i know there are exceptions. For the princess royal, i think the reason it happened so quickly is probably because the director already has 4 dramas that couldn't air in the past. So i guess he was afraid something would happen again😅
As for the prisoner of beauty, if they send dramas right after they wrapped filming then i think it has passed the first review already. But we don't know anything about the current stage, as they don't post or share anything...

But from what i know it takes time to pass both the first and the second review(usually 5-8 months). Especially the second review takes longer. But honestly i still think tpob is under the second review. It would be weird if it didn't even pass the first review and everyone i saw is saying that it didn't pass the second review yet. But of course it's not clear.

I hope that's not the case because that means we'll see the drama only at the end of the year or even next year..😭

I'm so confused right now people on weibo are debating whether the drama passed the review or not...😅 some people are saying that it did passed the review, some that it didn't because they can't find the name when they search and others are saying that it did pass the review but under a different name(there were rumors before that tpob will change its chinese name). So yeah at this point i don't know and i can't believe we have rumors even over this...
