While mainly an American TV series but filmed within the Philippines with most of the cast also being Filipino. It's a decent show. Just like the other users comment, you also get to see what the current Island of Cebu looks like.
I just started to watch pinoy dramas and while browsing around came across this one. While searching for a place to watch it, I found out it's also titled 'FPJ's Ang Probinsyano'. The first 260 episodes are free (with english subs) on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZcdqpPhFas&list=PLPcB0_P-Zlj54p3bbLtBLKwmns_6jT1WN (at the time I am posting this comment).
Almost 1700 episodes in a 7 year time span nets about 245 episodes per year. Each episode is about 40 minutes too. Maybe this show was an hour long with commercials while it was airing. I've only just seen the first episode and have no issues with it based on what I've seen. Still too early to judge the story but production/filming/acting is quite impressive when you think about how fast they must of created and edited each episode. Once I finish a good amount of episodes, I will add another comment/review about this series.
Side note: While watching the first episode the commander (Arthur Acuña) in the series is also in the Amazon Freevee TV series 'Almost Paradise'.
I always thought these "dramas" were actually pure XXX rated shows. With fancy cover art and posters as clickbait. So I always just ignored them whenever I saw posted videos in telegram channels or on drama sites I frequent. Recently a friend who used to recommend Turkish drama's to me, she asked if I could find this movie for her. I thought she was joking and was messing with me but she was serious. When I asked her why she never recommended these styles of dramas before. She thought I already knew about them. I think these genre of dramas are called 'Bomba' in the Philippines. This was the first one of it's kind I've ever seen but I would compare it to some of the late night adult programs displayed on HBO & Cinemax during the mid 2000's.
The movie itself is nothing special and the storyline doesn't have much depth to it. Let alone the film crew can be seen a few times in the movie if you pay attention and can also spot the clothing they wear to appear nude in some scenes. In general, very bland relationship story with a bad guy who's basically a pimp. Queue the ex-bf to come save the day. The only good thing about this movie was the acting. I feel like most of the actors & actresses did a great job, especially during the nude scenes. As this was the only explicit Filipino drama I've seen, I can't suggest something 'better' to watch.
I haven't watched it yet but someone just recommended it to me.Re: #3 - Maybe because of his curse, he wasn't…
Maybe he has bad breath. A friend of mine is so paranoid about his breath, that he will behave so awkward when talking with people. Let alone move in for a smooth. Thanks for the response though, you remarkably remind me of the person who recommended this drama too.
8.5 The reasons below1. The development and plot at the beginning was doing fine, we got the main characters following…

Re: #3 - Maybe because of his curse, he wasn't allowed to kiss 💋 someone? Did the show have you on your toes 🐾 hoping for a kiss? Some sort of hidden irony by the story 📒 makers?
I managed to download the RAW's over the weekend. I will create AI generated subs for this and privately share it. PM me if you would like the google drive for the vids.
This was also one of the first dark kdrama's where I haven't seen them blur out the knives when stabbing or killing people. If you enjoy suspense, serial killer, psychological thrillers. This should be on your bucket list to watch. I would caution those with certain violent emotional triggers (suicide, murder, bullying, animal cruelty).
The TVING network has been doing such a great job lately (IMO) with their shows. Since they are competing with Netflix, I only suspect to see more top quality gems like this in the future.
This drama is messy like it's everywhere and boring It feels like they tried to make many tropes "ideas" in one…
So it's like how people mush their food all around a plate because they don't want to eat it and then tell everyone how "stuffed" they are because it appears they ate a lot.
I was going to use my ai program to make subs for you but when I just checked, it seems like they started to add subtitles to this show. Up to episode 16 atm, fyi.
I randomly started this drama after someone (thank you) on this website gifted me a subscription to Kocowa. I tend to avoid high rated dramas because I don't want to be part of a trend or watch something because EVERYONE else is watching it. Plus the cover art(s) for this show aren't that appealing to me too. Needless to say, now that the show is about 7 years old. I figured I would give it a good ol try. I am watching the 30 minute episodes version. Which has been perfect. I've been watching 3x episodes a day while on the treadmill, giving me about 90minutes of cardio. I am currently up to episode 21 out of 32 and the drama has been very good. I definitely broke a few tears so far to where someone in the gym asked me if I was alright. "It's this god damn kdrama, always chokes me up." Yup, that girl never spoke to me again in the gym, lol. I am unsure how the series will end and if it will maintain it's current solid ride. But so far, so good and this is a drama that I feel like most people could recommend to others in terms of starting their KDRAMA experience.

This past week I have seen some subtitles being added to websites for this show. I am unsure if they will continue to finish the series (whomever is subbing it) but just a note for those wondering. I bookmarked the series, so will check daily to update my comment if they finish it.
