Currently on episode 50 but curious if anyone knows what the emergency broadcast interruption was about during episode 44 (around the 22 minute mark)?

So far this has been one of the BEST daytime melodrama series I have watched in regards to the whole 'revenge' plot. When this drama was being filmed, adultery was still considered illegal and a punishable crime within South Korea. Other than that, anyone who has been in multiple relationships in real life will understand how great this series is. Especially if you have ever dated someone with bipolar disorder. So far the series doesn't go 'over the top' in terms of crazy plot twists and is can be relatable to real life scenarios.

I know the dating scene these days is much different and people barley leave their homes but as I stated before. Anyone who has had a large group of friends, dated amongst an inner circle or even lives in a small town that loves to gossip. You will be able to relate to this show and might even suggest to yourself that someone you know behaves just like the people within the series.

Found this drama on kocowa while staying over a friends house for a few days with bad internet. I ended up binge watching this show for almost two days straight, non-stop. What I enjoyed about this melodrama series was that it had more to do with everyday things vs. non-stop revenge. Don't get me wrong, I like the cringeworthy revenge dramas. It was nice to finally watch a series that was outside that spectrum. While 80% of kdrama's that are 50+ episodes seem to be primarily focused on a revenge plot.

-Series won five '2017 KBS Drama Awards' including the Daesang (platinum) award.
-Won an award in the '10th Korea Drama Awards' along with two other nominees.
-Oddly the show wasn't nominated in any category within the '53rd Baeksang Arts Awards'.

One actor is another country got sort of banned for taking a photo during a trip, his last drama was a big hit,…
I can't imagine pretending to be someone you're not for the price of money & fame. You surrounded by fake people 24/7 or leeches. Without being able to just be yourself and breathe.

Idk i'm pretty sure the whole 'got taken down because of china censorship' really shouldn't be that shocking.…
I am no expert on Chinese censorship, I do follow global economics & foreign trade policies. You're constantly being alerted about censorships & sanctions (not just with China). I've also read journals by Manyun Zou discussing her opinions on the censorship in China. While I don't disagree that China does these things, the point I am making is how FAST people were to create a theory without a foundation to support it. All it takes is 20-30 minutes of some basic research and you will find what I found, regarding this drama. How the producers (investors) of this drama forced the streaming platform to market/sell the episodes in an unethical way (because they want money). After IQIYI was bombarded with a vast amount of negative brand awarness in such a short timeframe, they took the series down until they could figure out what to do. Since this is a financial issue between the streaming platform & media group whom created the show. IMO until they can come to some agreement between one another, the show will remain as 'coming soon' until further notice. I understand not to take Chinese news outlets at face value (or any news outlet) but logically speaking when you look at what has been reported in China (from a business angle) ontop of reading comments posted by Chinese viewers which match the news outlets. This makes more sense then what other people have been suggesting. You could debate how the rumors sparked a vast intrest for the show because people enjoy watching things that are 'censored' or hard to find, thus creating a bandwagon effect online.

blah blah blah right? I only enjoy the show because of the gaming plotline. I don't think it's amazing but it's not terrible. Again, I only watched a handful of episodes so it's plausible the show could get better or worse.

I know China censors programs but they usually don't see the light of day. After watching a few RAW episodes of this series, I see no reason why they would censor this show. After looking at a few Chinese news outlets (https://news.cqnews.net/1/detail/1210595566566264832/web/content_1210595566566264832.html) apparently people were complaining how they were selling the episodes in China vs. other series. This appears to be a business issue between investors who created this project to ensure they make their money back and nothing to do with BL censorship as everyone cried about (again) with zero evidence.

I think people jumped to conclusions with zero evidence of the claims about what happened. I haven't been able to find anything concrete that suggest what everyone is speculating. Things like this do happen with streaming platforms, where movies/series accidently get turned on. In 2017 HBO accidently enabled Game of Thrones episodes in the UK (if I remember correctly). IMO this is just another streaming platform blunder until someone has proof of the rumors because the show says 'coming soon' (https://www.iq.com/album/%E8%87%B4%E5%91%BD%E6%B8%B8%E6%88%8F-2024-bmk3426k0p) and I will bet that it eventually gets released on the platform without any issues until they're ready to launch it.

The ML makes this show amazing. While the FL is very attractive (IMO), the male lead (Victor) does an amazing job keeping the series glued together. Only half way through and while I do feel like the show is going too fast for my liking (there's a few parts within the storyline I wish the director would have elaborated more on). I would definitely recommend this series to other people because of the psychological aspect on how Victor handles everything.

While watching this drama, something people should understand that it is a crime in the Philippines to commit adultery. If you're married and your partner cheats on you. Both your partner and their secret lover have committed a crime and could go to prison. The Philippines is one of the few countries where 'family' honor & values is extremely important. A single person within a family household could tarnish your families reputation.

The show is on MBC's YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_KtoH4kIQQ&list=PLD0F6676EF7343DA6) but you will need to search their playlist/videos for 'Her House 01' then find the playlist for the episode.

Just change 'Her House 01' to 'Her House 02' for the next episode while searching and so forth. The reason why each episode is about 12 minutes long and broken up into parts was because back then YouTube only allowed a maximum of 12 minute videos. Very surprised MBC took the time to split each episode and upload them, let alone create a playlist for each split up episode.

Only on episode 9 at the moment but I must say, if you can get passed the first episode the story starts to come together quite promisingly. I always go into dramas without reading plots because I like the surprise of figuring things out myself. Being a drama from 2003 and having a few 'wuxia' combat style elements. It's quite interesting seeing how the show was made and the techniques they used back then. Especially the scene when they introduced the person who can run really fast. While the scene was only for a few seconds and how they were able to get all of those people to freeze for an attempt realistic 'matrix' fast forward effect. Shows how the director took this drama seriously in order to give the viewers an understanding of a secondary character.

Not much romance so far and I am halfway through the series but there is that tension in the show where you can tell people like certain people but never make a move. There's always some arbitrary reason why they can't be with one another until it's too late. That tension is building up between a few 'couples' but unsure if anything will come about it. I feel like the brother/sister (mystery) element of the story is the main plot while anything else is secondary. I normally don't finish dramas because the last episode tends to ruin the entire show and I'd rather have things being mentally left open without the director or writers ruining it for me but this might be a show I actually finish.

Yea was wondering same.
She was 31 in 2014 and got pregnant after filming 'Everything Kimchi'. Looks like she also got married. I'm guessing she settled down to focus on being with her family.

Sadly this was floating around 2007 when it came out via xvid rips on soompi. Those videos are no longer available but I did manage to find most of them without subs. It also looks like this show is on the imbc vod platform (https://program.imbc.com/kimchiz) for free without subtitles. You just need to have a Korean ip address. Unsure if they offer Korean subtitles but if they do, would be a great start using them to translate the srt files into English.

If somebody wants the two sites for the episodes to watch without a Korean ip address then send me a message. One site has episodes 1-24, while the other site has episodes 25-100. Haven't found episodes 101-121 yet.

Side note, episode #93 around the 8m30s mark was a famous scene in South Korean where they dance to 'Tell Me' by Wonder Girls.

Hong Kong drama's never fall short when it comes to comedy. I don't know why I didn't realize this while looking for a comedy to watch last week. I randomly found this drama while browsing the movie section of douban. There was a thread talking about people's most re-watched HK drama series and this title was at the top of the sites list. Not sure if this show would be a great re-watch for me personally but if you enjoy Stephen Chow movies, then you will enjoy this drama. It was made during the era of Chow's movies, so has a similar look and feel. I agree with the other person comment regarding how funny the chemistry is between the two leads in the show. Every episode I had a few chuckles.
