This is soooo good!!Editing is a bit choppy and I can look past that but the bgm is annoyingly loud at times,…
Hahahaha at "Where’s Lanxiang when you need her", our girl Lanxiang has really set the bar.

I think she ran away because she was almost crying, like she let out a soft sob. I think she likes him a lot and was heartbroken. If you go back to the previous episodes, you will see that every time Min Jae was walking, he was behind her or she was distracted, she genuinely didn't pick up on it.

Can't relate, I'm personally loving the OSTs a lot, been a big positive for the show.
Same. I'm actually having a complete mental breakdown knowing that this is the last work of Director Ahn. I love everything about his works, the music, the ambience, the subtle social issues, the mood in his dramas. It's so realistic and artistic. Every single one of his dramas is a masterpiece. I love the folk music too, it really sets the tone.

Otokae, otokae!... How am I supposed to wait a whole week for the next set of episodes. It's so heartbreaking that this is Director Ahn's last work, we won't get more masterpieces from this legendary director. Why are there only 12 episodes! What are we to do! T_T

And he wasn't able to watch it like everyone else, he sadly passed away.
I feel so sad knowing this is his last drama we will be able to watch. I love every single one of his dramas from previous years. It's an irreplaceable loss! T_T

The novel was ok, not bad, but also not the best thing I've ever read. It has really great adaptation potential though, which I'm praying the drama writers have not destroyed.

I just watched the recent trailer and it's not....... What I was expecting???? I never though it's going to be…
I read the whole novel ahead of the drama release, I don't even know anymore what for, because other than using the lead's names, they haven't adapted a single thing from the source material T_T

what weirdness
The drama adaptation took a contemporary romance story and changed even the genre of the story into a rebirth and supernatural story. It can't even be called an adaptation at this point. Those of us who read the novel ahead of the drama are dumbfounded.

guys I called this miles away. When they released the first teaser months ago ML’s eyes were turning blue like…
Yeah, I have been desperately thinking to myself that surely it is a dream sequence, surely they couldn't have changed the source material so much that it isn't even in the same genre anymore.

Ditto. I don't even know what I read the book for because they have changed even the genre. Can we even call it an adaptation at this point!

Same here, going to be rooting for them till the end. People are once again overreacting over the preview for next week and calling both leads names and getting angry about possible flirtation with the 2nd leads. Like when has a preview for a K-drama ever NOT been misleading. It is misleading. Every. Single. Time... Shaking my head.

Hahahaha... "what in the Luke & Flora is happening here" is the funniest thing I have read. We need to coin this as a commonly used expression XD

this is nothing like that thankfully. here the fl acts at least somewhat like an adult and the ml isn’t unkind…
The one and only comparison is that this drama is as crazy addictive, if not more, than The Early Spring. The Early Spring was legit drugs in drama-form. Now we have found our next addition. The downside is that we won't get an episode every day, so it is going to be really torturous to wait for episodes.... Everyone, fighting!

Exactly what I expected they broke up SO NO CHEATING NO CHEATING i repeat and we will learn more about their back…
It's crazy how everyone jumped to conclusions and made all sorts of insane assumptions about the story without even seeing a single episode. There's a real lesson here, which I sadly doubt anyone will learn... Such a strong first episode. I hope the drama is able to maintain this amazing consistency.

what is s+
Streaming platforms assign class designations to dramas for their internal business and investor purposes. However, fans have recently become more interested in these designations, linking them to their favorite actors' resources and status. It's important to know that there's no official list for these classes, and platforms don't publicly announce them. Instead, the information is shared with marketing and drama accounts, which then report it on Weibo. For Tencent and Youku, S+ is the top class for headliner dramas, getting more budget and promotion. After S+ are S, A (with Youku having A+ between S and A), and B. Tencent has the most S+ designations, and Youku has started making more S+/S dramas recently. iQIYI's class designations are less clear now, but it's believed they have S as the highest, followed by A and B. Note that a drama's class designation doesn't always reflect its success or quality. These designations are decided for business reasons before filming starts.

I won't get time to watch this until tonight, but looks like everyone is enjoying it so far. I'm excited!
It is really good. Haven't seen such a riveting slice of life office drama in some time.

so you mean to tell me that novel luke is meaner than drama luke?
Yep, drama-Luke is practically an angel compared to book-Luke, who can come off as truly scary and intimidating. Plus, in the book, their relationship truly is messed up. All of these details have been softened in the drama so much that some of Flora's grievances don't even fully make sense in the drama.

nvm the second Tibet scene, we were actually robbed of the New Year scene 😭 LN was sick, but more than that,…
This material theft/withholding is absolutely outrageous! And to think that they actually shot so much more of the drama and then cut it out in editing.

911: What's your emergency?
Me: I need to report a very serious crime, a grand theft!
