Exactly this!!!... I hate it when main leads are separated in the second last or last episodes of k-dramas for a flimsy reason, but here, it is a natural and organic outcome, they both need time and distance right now.

100% agree with your review/recap, completely on-point. Except I'm not too bothered by the last scene, I'm certain it is designed to be purposefully misleading, just to bait the viewers, both leads are there to meet different people.

I can see why so many people are frustrated with Yeo Reum right now, but if I try to put myself in her shoes, I would probably react and feel pretty much the same way. People aren't rational in the face of death and catastrophes. I think it's all too easy for us to judge Yeo Reum and say that Yeo Reum should feel 0% guilt towards Bom's grandma's death, but it wouldn't be that easy in reality. Bom's dad was of course 100% out of line, but I think he must feel so sorry towards his mom and kids that he was looking to put some of the blame on someone else. Bom too admitted that she shouldn't be resenting Yeo Reum, but she's not in her right mind at the moment. I believe Yeo Reum would have absolutely stepped up had Bom asked her to, Yeo Reum was being respectful towards the grieving family by not creating drama and making the situation about her. When Bom's dad wasn't reported for the accidental stabbing, I had been really taken aback at that point, but one thing we have to factor into this story is how important filial piety is in Confucius society, we shouldn't be judging this story by Western standards. Lastly, I believe we'll see character development with both the main leads in the last 2 episodes. Or at the very least, I'll wait till the end of the drama to judge it as a whole and not right now.

You said it, I was expecting a lot more, they hyped it up too much. Maybe this part of the story should have been told a bit faster

I kept thinking the same thing, how Hani's character in the drama kind of mirrors her really life story with EXID, how close they were to disbanding and how that fancam changed their fate.

I feel like the premise of the drama is such that if the characters hadn't taken this long to evolve and accept their feelings, it would have come off as too rushed. On the surface, it might seem like not much has happened by the mid of the show, but in terms of character development, there have definitely been leaps and bounds. I can hardly wait for next week's episodes, the struggle is too real. This week's episodes did have too many flashbacks, can't make any excuses there :P

IKR, glad I wasn't the only one who thought that was really weird and awkward *face palm*... Enjoying the show overall so much, as one would expect with Na PD and this brilliant cast coming together for a last hurrah.

You can check out Secret Boutique, it is also a really interesting revenge drama and Kim Jae Young has a really great role in it.

^ This, everything you said. I was prepared to hate this kind of ending, but I kind of ended up liking it. I agree with you completely on Nabi's character development and I think Jaeon should surprisingly large amount of change to the extent that I approve of the ending

It's a daily drama, those are usually this long
