I guess rarity of blood types varies for different region and ethnicity. AB- is the rarest blood type in most parts of the world. I am starting to think this is one of the points this drama is trying to demonstrate: human bias. How much of society's thinking and actions are based on biases, individual and collective. Subconscious biases which we might not even be aware of. It is absolutely terrifying to think about what kind of unconscious biases each of us might be carrying within us, how much of our actions and thinking could be based on that.
The woman playing her mom is 5 years younger than her
I think we'll find out that her mom died young and has been lingering as a ghost for a very long time. The mom looks super young in the drama, so I immediately landed at this conclusion. Let's see

Everything you said. This is exactly why I find Beyond Evil far superior to Mouse, in that it has a really nuanced approach to the depiction of evil and not highly fictionalized concept of biological determinism (though I watch both dramas and each have its values, not completely dissing Mouse)
