He was about to tell her after tho. After the birthday celebration, he decided to go ahead and tell even without his full memories. He wanted to tell her after the movie date but then the fire accident broke out there and the next thing we know grandma's secret was out so he was ofc not going to tell her when she just found out about her grandma's health. I think atp it's just the writers dragging it for her to find it herself to make it dramatic.

oh yeah noo I actually do agree that the truth came out too late and I also feel the story/healing after the reveal was imp too. But here I was actually talking about if the confession was done in the beach scene particularly or before the memory flashbacks even started..

Yeahh, the memory plot is for the mystery which is now dragging lol. Like everything's still not out and I am not sure if it will be worth it or satisfactory enough now after dragging it till the end.

I do think there's still a chance that he wasn't exactly cheating. But I think I don't mind as long as they don't make him look like a completely nice person and salvage him. He was still ignoring her and asking others to text and gift things to her in his place. That's already enough to say that he didn't care about her. He doesn't have to be cheating to look like the bad guy yk. And Sujin is for sure guilty about something and it does look related to the explosion

While I agree that I also wish the reveal was done earlier, I don't think it could've been then with this plot. The beach scene was before his first memory flashback. So if he told then, he would've told the wrong/inaccurate story. Since he didn't even remember the cheating part then. And his memory trigger also seem to be due to the stress of lying and confession. That wouldn't have happened if he already confessed. And let's just say that he still got those flashbacks after the reveal, the "drama" element would be over very early. Because she'd still figure out that she only fell in love with him back then too. So then only the mystery around the explosion and Hyukchan which would I think become much meaningless then. But still building a relationship then and the healing journey after knowing they both were affected from the same accident would be great too. The above idea I think would be interesting if she'd actually had been in love with Hyukchan but ig that'd also be quite messy.

And yeah lol they sure wanted to make it dramatic and the next ep does look real dramatic. The misunderstanding part is here cuz looks like she isn't ready to hear his explanation. Even though the last 2 eps have been about different people asking her to listen once he confesses😭😭Her anger is ofc justified tho. Also I think she probably met Sujin and she might've told her something wrong idkk

I would also like to point that, he not only has gaps in his memories but they are inaccurate as well. In his original memory, Hyukchan didn't have the bandages. I think his version of the explosion is probably wrong as well.

Idk if it's only me but I feel Sunwoo Chan avoiding revealing the secret now feels similar to how he avoids talking about and facing his own past too. In the past after the accident, he ran away and since then has been avoiding or trying to forget and dissaciate with his past. His doctor also mentioned it's like a defence mechanism for him to stop getting hurt. Idk kind of like avoidance coping maybe? Maybe that's sort of like his default setting now? And now he's afraid that telling the secret about Haran's past might hurt her more when she's finally moving and healing. So him finally opening up about his pasts and revealing the secret to Haran could also be him finally facing the past properly? Idk lol I could be wrong too and maybe the story won't go in this direction.

I am ofc not trying to excuse him for keeping it from her. It's really wrong and selfish and so unfair for Haran. To her their relationship is so important and precious and she's going to be really hurt when she finds out. Ngl kinda scared about how she'll react when she finds out.

They knew he had reached, though? The project was suspended and was on the verge of possibly getting cancelled. Which'd mean the team might not return, that's what they were worried about.

In High school apparently, I also heard about it. I also read something about that it was hard to adapt so he was also alone and isolated for quite some time just like his character here lol

Honestly I am sure they'll be going for that she actually really fell in love or fell deeper in love after the ml started talking. It was said that the ex left for Boston very soon after they started dating. It's very possible that most of their chatting was with Sunwoo Chan. And that her love grew deeper because of their online conversations and the pen especially. I also don't seem to remember any scene that showed her madly in love before Sunwoo Chan came along. For me it was the pen that became really signifcant for her and what made the relationship really important for her. She even probably just held onto anything good in her life at that time if yk what I mean

I agree with the second theory, I feel the same. But I think it could also be that he went to find out the whole truth about the accident or Hyukchan after recovering more memories? Anyway, I don't think it's the father, his father is in Korea.
