Came here to say, I recently started reading the webtoon for this even though I have never read one before and it's soo good!! It feels even more heartwarming and wholesome. And its SO funny. I think because it has a lot of chapters, we get to see and explore the side characters even more. Love that. Really loving the storytelling and art too!
Watched a bit of 1st ep and this looks surprising very interesting! I already like the characters. I think I will be tuning in😁 But maybe not right now, my daily life rn is already very exhausting so I fear I might have the brain power left for this😞
I agree I sometimes hate this plot because its such a cliche fantasy (and at least in True Beauty they have more…
The Miss Piggy seems to be a mistranslation. I don't even know why they translated it to that. What he calls her is '베블토끼' which is 'Baebeul Tokki'. Baebeul being her nickname in SF. While Tokki directly translates to rabbit but is also used as an endearment or a cute nickname. Basically used to call someone cute or adorable.
This was probably the first drama I watched which somehow felt so unserious and easy to watch but at the same time showcased some pretty serious topics too. And most of which felt really relatable. I really enjoyed the cast chemistry - the trios, the siblings, the couples and ofc the spirit finger members. The drawing club's concept was my fave it was really so unique. All of them were so quirky and fun. I loved how they portrayed the message of 'To be cringe is to be free'. Uyeon's parents were however really frustrating to watch. It's really sad to think that such parents really do exist. It was sad to see how all three of the siblings were suffering because of the parents. Their fallout was a given and I really liked that. But then the resolution was too easy and instant which made it unrealistic especially for the dad. But for the given number of eps and the lighthearted nature of the show I would still take the mother's development. Even though it was still drastic we still had that one moment of her and Uyeon plus the whole Udol running away arc. But for the father it really felt like it came out of nowhere. Other than that really ejoyed the drama overall. It was really cute. Will miss these chaotic people!!
better 12 episode drama than dragged 16 episode drama
Me personally I think this would've been even better with a few more eps. We could've dived deeper into Uyeon's family problems and her brothers, especially the older brother. Because of less eps the parents 'redemption' and her healing was done too instantly which made it feel very unrealistic. We could also get more background about other SF memebers I mean I personally would love to see it. Even the trios could have been explored a little more. I really feel there's still so much potential to explore about the different characters and their dynamics. Even though I haven't read the webtoon according to others all of these details were present there. So if done right I think a couple more eps would have really enhanced the story and characters more
Love how they're showing that growth is never linear or instant. She isn't hating him but herself to the point she feels that she's undeserving of him. Until now Uyeon had only seen the silly goofy side of GJ. This is for the first time she saw his serious side and realized how naturally and effortlessly good he is at his work. Meanwhile, she feels she has to work really hard to do everything and hasn't even figured out her drem yet. I understand that she's staring to feel insecure again. It actually feels very real and relatable. Overcoming insecurities that have built up over years of feeling like a nobody and being overshadowed by everyone in her family isn't something that can happen so easily.
The only thing I am scared about is that we only have 2 eps left, hope they don't rush things too much.
NGL but at start I thought of this as just a random cute watch but it's turning out to be so much more. Like the drama does so many things so right it's making my heart so full arghhhh The whole dynamic of the SF club is one of the most heartwarming things I have watched in a while. Just a bunch of people irrespective of their age or anything coming together to enjoy what they love. Noone judges anyone for anything and accepts each other for exactly who they are. Like you can tell because of SF all of them have become so much more confident in themselves and how it also provides a place for them to totally express themselves no matter how weird it might feel to others. Also love the way they support and hype e/o. And they are all so unique so quirky and so endearing I love LOVE every single of them smm. As someone who also enjoys drawing even though I am not great at it and someone who's very conscious of myself and my feelings I'd die to be a part of a group like this 😭😭 Also man I just LOVEEE how they're showing Wooyeons growth. The way she has become comfortable and confident of who she actually is instead of showing some magical glowup. I love my girl smmm😭🫶
yeah tysm!! but i still have a few more questions,-the whole money thing begins because qiuqiu was jealous of…
hehe thanksss I am sooo happy you liked my theories!!! And lol yeah I might as well rewatch it too😂 Also do you think they're accurate enough, should I post these as expplainations above in the comments too?
