I’m not familiar with her but I did like PJH in “You and Everyone else”. She was antihero in it but she did a good job at being a self absorbed b*tchy frenemy. I didn’t realize the FL in SYAWT was her actually 🙈 The promo clips weren’t that enticing for some reason.

It’s good to hear that MB, MB is doing well so early seeing as idol dramas tend to get a lot of backlash usually.

I first saw him in WD. I just adored his pompous approach to an otherwise annoying character. He probably was the first antihero I liked in cdramas in fact even more than the ML.😂 In POJ, the way he made his character seem so mysterious…dangerous and yet enticing kind of sold his character. You are supposed to loath him but it’s just difficult. The silver hair addition from his end was also really creative. It’s good to hear that he’a a nice guy in SOTPP. It will be a first for me 🙈

I totally agree with that comment on SWL. Poverty and despair agrees with him 🙈 I liked his character in Shine on Me but at times when he had happy scenes, it felt like he was acting (iykyk)? But in LFY, he was amazing! His performance was really raw like you mentioned. You’d think he actually has experience going through CY’s kind of hell 🥲 I wasn’t familiar with ZJY (L&P did not agree with me😅) but she really is talented. I loved the way she portrayed MJ

Looks like Soo Bin’s threat really did scare off the driver. The father is just way too dangerous at this point so hopefully the driver will remain quiet 🤞

Seee this is my problem! Some of the recent plots are just too insipid. You cannot feel the writer's passion. Not even the actors can save some dramas 🙈🙈🙈

You've piqued my interest with MB,MB so I'll try it! Their are too many clips out now. I didn't realize the FL was from Cashero!!! She really seems like a chameleon.🙊 I like the SML since he's quite versatile with his role- I seriously hated him in "Burried Hearts" only to feel bad for him in "Love Untangled" shortly after.🙈

Cdramas- thanks for the recommendation! I wasn't aware of YSL but it sounds interesting. I need to catch up with my existing shows honestly. I accidently saw too many spoilers with the endings for LFY and BlossomOP so both are on hold so I can watch them later this month.😅

Spring Over the Phoenix Pond- I loved Deng Kai in POJ and WD! Is it good? His characters are rather intriguing

With WSB, it really is an interesting choice. They could have at least tried to style him abit more like the third guy since he's been in the US for so long (i can't remember his name).

With JYJ, I just assumed they wanted to highlight that she's quite down to earth but with a whiff of whimsy? She's fun and bold but only when it matters?

Could this also be why WSB is slowly becoming more colourful too with his wardrobe choice? He does have a tendancy to reflect JYJ's interests 🙈

Most of the Second couple's initial "heavily edited" scenes are on par with the Hong Kong movie actor's 90s work. I've seen several clips from Chungking Express and this other drama that have the same colour tone as the neon/dreamy/ melancholic filters DTY applies

I want a face off between her and the dispecible father. She can stab him to death and end up in jail. Sacrifice her freedom and ego for her children just once.

That's the only way she can pay for all the pain she's put WSB, his mum, OHN, and now even SYG through🙃

Since her assistant probably knows all her secrets, there's a chance he might leak it to the press too. There has to be a reason why they showed him eavesdropping during the altercation instead of trying to help her.

His behaviour becomes more understable after events in ep 7 and 8. He does get better overtime (albeit still very protective) and the FL also speaks her mind so that helps too.

That's true. In a way this bottleneck is even worse than the red tape we have to go through with C-fantasy dramas. What's stopping kdramas from being coherent like they used to?😅😅😅

Short limited seasons work for Netflix originals because they usually only have high stake thriller plots- you can't really drag these kind of dramas beyond 10eps or so.

For most other genres, this template doesn't work. It's always at the expense of the MC🤦‍♀️

"Cautiously optimistic" is a good way to describe this feeling. I really like the second couple right now. The writer can really create a gem of a story with them. Everything about them- even the colour palate and costumes are meticulously selected for them🙈

That's true. Their breakup was traumatizing in his POV. It just gets overshadowed because we can physically see the toll it had on JYJ more than on WSB🥲

I want to trust the writer's process since they've done a great job with the second couple sp far but I'm kind of scared to keep too much hope based on past experience🙈.
