I hope they don’t do it but my faith in Kdramas is quite shaky lately - specially with 12 ep dramas 🙈

If they choose to follow the same old routine, we’ll probably get 1.5 lovey dovey episodes followed by the SML finally showing his true colors/ joining forces with the jealous cousin/ re-appearance of the guy who is in jail for about 3 episodes followed by an episode dedicated for the dead friend’s revenge. Ep 11 will most likely cover the fact that Yeori no longer can see ghosts but learns about the truth behind his heart-followed by dreaded “you are forced to love me” drama and mid Ep 12 they’ll probably reunite 🙈

I feel the same too. Soo Bin seems to be living in a cookie cutter theoretical sense of romance world (play the hero/ save the damsel in distress like in most sterotypical romance dramas). What he fails to understand is that this too can be suffocating. He doesn’t really know what a realistic love is so he just works with what he has “seen”. He’s not inherently bad but he needs to learn how to be equals better.

WSB was getting too protective over her because of their complicated past that it was actually beginning to hurt her role as a director in front of their team. It was obvious to everyone that WSB gives her special attention but they don’t know why. So as far as they are concerned, a “nobody” like JIJ did not deserve to be a co-director and she took advantage of his feelings.

By ending things, they both get a chance to work without complicating things (or at least try to).

Specially after seeing his portfolio, it’s not really that surprising why the ML feels betrayed - not for himself but for his friend. We already can see how much abuse Oh Ha Na goes through because people think that her mother is the ONLY reason she’s successful. After working so hard, once word goes out that the SML got his first lead role through connections/ strong arming the directors, it will hurt his career in the long run. It’ll actually be worse than what OHN goes through because his agency could not care less about him.

Oh so their dynamic isn’t as toxic as what’s implied on the summary? I was low key curious about the drama but the way they mentioned how Takaashi is supposed to still behave like a servant to N just rubs me the wrong way 🙈

If it's the dead friend's heart, it could be necessary.

There are endless possibilities- perhaps the dead friend is out for vengeance- protect the FL and avenge his own death since it really wasn't an "accident?. He can possess the ML to do his bidding later (or guide him). My bet is that it's the SML since the guy seems to be a tad too obsessed + he already knew that he was adopted at the time of the accident if I remember correctly.

The writer can also use this as a loophole for the FL to eventually have a reason to breakup with the ML towards the end of the drama and disappear for a bit since she cannot trust his feelings (does HE love her or is the dead friend)🤪

It isn't a kdrama without a mandotary breakup🥲

They might be planning to have some sort of exaggerated theatrical reveal considering how we haven't had any of the "mandotary" ML topless scenes you usually get with RomComs.

It is also rather hilarious how he was almost like superman in the first five episodes despite his heart condition- zero foreshadowing (at least as far as I can remember)😅

I hope she is sincere. All the harping abour share increase might be her misguided way of assuming Yeori can be motivated by profit but honestly given how most of her family, I wouldn't be surprised if she has a fe hidden skeletons as well 🙈

Her priorities are honestly so screwed. I can't wait to see her initial reaction after ep 6's bombshell🤭🤭🤭

He was already dressed - just had to pull off his sliced Tshirt and button up his shirt (he was already wearing it unbuttoned)🙈

Seriously!!! Like what’s wrong with her??? She keeps emotionally blackmailing Yeori by always mentioning her mom too 🤦‍♀️

Potential Spoiler 3 - IF the heart transplant doner is in fact her friend, they’ll probably have a short breakup because the FL would not be sure if the ML loves her willingly or is it because of any residual feelings from her dead friend (if there’re ghosts, then possessed hearts also should be a thing too)🙈

Take that Grandma!!! Her meddling is even more annoying than the rest of the family and SML combined🙃

Ordinary life with an ordinary family with an unassuming average man. Nobody would bother to give her (and by extension her family) a second glance.

If you think about it, it's rather unfortunate that young Sota wasn't brave enough to reach out to Mariko when they were kids. It's clear she would have liked him at least as a friend but now...idk.

Even if he really isn't the culprit (a huge IF at this point), how do you salvage 25 years worth of secrets? Would the journals be enough?🙈

On a side note, it's too bad Sota no longer draws on his journal- imagine what he'd sketch after ep 3's heart to heart?🤭
