Except not no wonder because they should all have clocked that he's fighting the authority figures on their behalf.…
Based on what Duan said, the punishments escalated over time. While Duan protecting the sixth prince is seen as heroic and brave, in their young tortured minds, Dan’s attempt to stand up to authority despite knowing that they’ll get punished for his actions pales in comparison since nothing changed/ nobody was “saved”.
I also feel that the hag might have manipulated the kids and fed them false information (like how Dian’s mother truly died) to ensure there is no chance for them to join hands.
wait how do they know shes from the novel and not from another world?
Yu explained this previously. It’s mostly to do with the way how Xie reacted when they made her go through a “drunk”-truth test. The final test was the fact that she didn’t recognize or even react to her “How are you”.
So her odd behaviour like with the instrument and “modern” song hinted that she is a transmigrator but it’s just part of her character lore.
From the spoilers I’ve read so far on here, they reunite when both are at a similar age so it’s probably like what Nikshay said above. He was a teen when he transmigrated so he probably is from a decade prior to the FL’s real timeline.
When they get to go back to the real world, they’ll probably travel back to their own timelines. So hypothetically, Dan will go back to 2016 and live a relatively normal life again while Yu will go back to 2026, in time to meet a now grown up version of Dan (years i gave are only examples).
It’s difficult to guess though given how censorship rules work with Cdramas. They might go for something completely different 🙈
Can someone explain me why she doubt xiahou Dan at ep 8-9 I don't get it
To add to what Ti02 said, it’s because of the way how Dan reacted at the lake. The way he said how 1 sacrifice helped their cause (or something similar to this- can’t recall what he exactly said), made her wonder if he actually planned everything.
Prince Duan better have some really tragic background to sympathize with cuz how can he be the protagonist in…
After watching ep 14’s flashbacks, I kind of get why he resents poor Dan (even if it’s unfair). The old hag on the other hand can get medieval justice for all I care. After all, the righteous scholars rejected them before they were attached.
why do I have the feeling (especially in ep 5) that Minato came back to collect as many memories with Wataru as…
You know what? Mid episode I half expected them to reveal that the current Minato was a figment of Wataru’s imagination-spending time with a ghost from his past. The longing and nostalgia coupled with the filters is just too much to bare at times🥲
I’m just assuming they are going so hard on this detail because of the MC’s love and obsession for photography - capturing memories/ moments together is carved to their very core.
Netflix really gambled by cutting off certain character scenes 🙈 PS : for those who might get confused by the final final twist - you can find out more about the character in question via ChatGPT/ online
In the first episode, did they mention anything about how old the novel was?
Ok. In the novel world it's been around 15 yrs. I saw a few spoiler comments from readers assuring their real life age is similar so I guess I'll trust the process 🤞
I should’ve realized from episode 2 that he was different, even as a modern guy.... The way he easily commanded…
The subtle hints are really a nice touch. For an ML he felt too besotted too soon (almost like young first love) but at the same time you can see a glint of his “madness” when ever he is court/ away from the FL🙈
Since the last time I saw Cheng Li was in LOTFG, the difference was even more amplified🙈
Both the FL and the believes they are in the same novel. The ML and Prince Duan maybe in the same novel. However…
It’s possible that it’s the same novel but over time it was marketed by a different name? Even with certain c-dramas, the same drama goes by different names after all depending on the region.
Basically a Burger King vs. Hungry Jacks situation 🙈
I hate the ML's big brother for not attempting to make amends at all when he was the who left the ML. I hate that…
It seems like something ominous might have happened to him as a kid. The brother was so distracted about the father’s release/ ML seems to be under the impression he has no family.
Low key gives me Castaway Diva vibes (the ML’s backstory I ,exam).
One of my acquaintances told me they completely ruined this with the use of AI. Is that true? Is it ruined?
Honestly didn’t notice anything off putting personally. The story itself seems rather promising so far and the MC is good. The child having AI characteristics didn’t really alert me (then again, I don’t really focus on this area unless it affects the drama ambience which wasn’t the case in ep1).
Just wait and watch the following episodes and you'll know more about them and their story... instead of judging…
Sang Yan’s sister explains his obsession quite nicely honestly. Life was easy for Yan before he met Yifan. Losing her, crushed him - specially since he didn’t know why (even after stalking her for years). If their “breakup” back in high school wasn’t so dramatic, he probably wouldn’t have been this intense🙈
Yifan’s lovely too, was the source of his inspiration, and was able to match his sass in her own awkward way so in a way, it’s not really a surprise why he didn’t really even try.
I also feel that the hag might have manipulated the kids and fed them false information (like how Dian’s mother truly died) to ensure there is no chance for them to join hands.

We’ll probably learn more about his illness in ep 17-18.
