huiju was kinda creepy in ep 2 🫠stalking him everywhere is not cute. if it was a male doing that to a female,…
TMAI- she was so shamelessly open about it too.🙈
I think in this case, context matters. A Dobler vs. Dahmer situation.
They've lowkey given some context that Li An already has always had feelings for her and he knows how she is like. I wouldn't be surprised if his initial "rejection" to her proposal was just him playing hard to get- so she would actually want to be with him for herself and not just see him as an opportunity to elavate her status.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) for him, Hui Ju is even more tenacious than he initially thought.
I tried watching too many cdramas to find all of them totally devoid of any lightness, humor, and meaningful deep…
Don't bother replying. The user is never satisfied and you just find yourself going around in circles. Her hate towards hollywood (and apparently cdramas too now) is too strong she has to always bring it up. Interestingly enough she seems to have not figured out her type of K-genre yet either as she keeps attacking stories from the same genre from what I've noticed.
Whatever floats her boat 🙃
PS: does Joy of Life have a satisfying ending? I noticed it has a high rating.
Can someone please explain to me, I’m a little confused. Did he fall for her a long time ago? The ending of…
Yes or at the very least he had a crush on her. Makes sense seeing as they both are in a similar situation but Hui Ju never gives up just because of her "illegitimate" commoner status. Whereas, he has to always surrender to his family's orders.
Lol sorry but bws literally can't act..he has the same 2 expressions even after getting slapped by the female…
She’s the Queen Mother - how is he supposed to react? Specially in public? Everybody is waiting for the grand prince to make the wrong move so they can eliminate him. If he made a scene after the slap, it would have been out of character for someone in his position.
This drama is the reason why He Chang Xi face was removed from pursuit of jade. Using an ai filter on his face…
In a way their objective backfired. I found out about this BL because of the contraversial ban. If anything, He Chu San is wayyy better than the character HCX lost in POJ. Hope it doesn’t affect him in the long run though since he really is a promising actor.
Why did he refuse to see her so many times? I don't get it. They haven't really done a good job of connecting…
I think it's because he thought she was trying to use him for his title to pro.ote her brand (since she has a reputation for being a social climber). Calling him "her senior" implies familiarity and that Hui Ju recalls their turbulant past too. Or at least the fact that she'd stoop so low kind of tickled his curiousity?
whoever is throwing hate on this on episode ONE is retarded. and prolly same people who thinks king the land is…
C'mon why drag KTL into this? You can like both/ like one without bringing the other down. Hell in a way, the MLs in both dramas have annoying "sister" figures.
Guys help me, what do u say when u want to introduce this drama to someone who's not into K-drama when they ask…
It's a contract marriage drama between a sassy rich morally grey commoner who yearns for power so people will finally respect her and a grand prince whose only role is to act like he doesn't exist. Together, they will bring chaos to the kingdom?
The reason behind the marriage is in the plot summary.
HuiJu needs to have a "noble" title even if it has no real power. She craves to be valued since nobody takes her accomplishments seriously due to her current "illegitimate" status.
Lee Ahn needs to find a wife before his SIL forces him to marry someone of her choosing (and seeing how she was in ep 1, she definitely will not be generous with her selection). It also seems like Lee Ahn used to have a soft spot for Hui Ju when they were young so it's a win-win.
The entire royal family can kiss my ass especially his mom and sister-in-law
Seems like it. He's been conditioned to see himself as a second class citizen since he was a kid afterall (the flashback with his father/ the evolution of the titles he received over the years).

True- the insufferable SFL trope is such a bore now.
With Perfect Crown, I feel like we are missing some information. She pretty much blamed Lee Ahn for killing the former King during the fire scene. It's pretty insane of her to just blatantly accuse him of such a thing ðŸ«

I do love twin number 1 (think he was the marketing manager?)- his dramas and characters are usually engaging.
Been waiting for something good to start since POJ ended. It's a good transition too since both cover royalty to a certain extent.
What's UMH?
