beautiful kdrama ruined by excessive us of AI making him a artist then using AI is disgusting
He is an animator- how do you know for sure "he" used AI excessively? Asking since you sound like it distracted you from the plot when the art wasn't even the main focus.
So in the end, they didn’t even get the character, who wanted it from the first episode married, even when three…
Nahhh it's good that Ha Dam and YG didn't get married. They explained it very well. They were trying to protect their relationship with a rushed marriage because they were afraid of long distance. This is a terrible reason to get married.
But after everything they went through, they now have a stronger bond.
It's a good message for today's youth. Honestly surprised the drama even added this given how many pro-marriage tropes are being pushed in plot lines to be in line with gov. policies.
If they showed the main or second couple get married, it would be too rushed. The grandmother's wedding is the most logical choice since it was clearly mentioned she was an unmarried single mother AND the old couple were childhood sweethearts more or less. Besides they still used the 3 dresses.
One last comment - it low key felt like the drama was mocking love triangles. Almost like the writer knows how viewers hate the current trend so they kept teasing us with pseudo triangles but if you think about it there weren’t any real triangles at all…not even in the past🤔

Yeah...HC was so reckless! So many warnings yet he couldn't even bother to step outside if he really needed to smoke🤦♀️
PS: was it just me or was it rather mobidly funny when he said that his head was about to explode because he was so stressed....knowing what was to come?🙈
Is it a happy ending in the last few minutes? Or do we actually get to see them together for more than half the…
About 15 minutes- but we got a full montage of happy moments. For a moment there I personally thought it would be yet another rushed ending but I feel that they did a good job given that they only had 12 episodes.
There are time skips but they artfully meshed the scenes together so I personally didn't get any whiplash- we got proper conclusions for all 4 couples and even got to see Genius one last time. No loose ends
I still don’t get what was up with the doctor since she was in love with hc. her actions don’t really make…
She was in a messy situation so that's why she was so erratic.
In one way she and HC kind of bonded out of loneliness. It's not a good excuse but being in a strange country with such a terrible time difference definitely is a recipe for disaster for most new relationships like with HC and Ha Ran's.
If SChan didn't chat with HaRan, HC could have broken up quite easily with HR or just continue to ghost her.
With the fight ngl, it kind of did make the doctor look a little too nice but it's understandble since we are seeing it from her eyes so her memory is bound to be bias. The reason why she lied was probably because who would want to publicly acknowledge that she cheated with HR's dead boyfriend/ the dead boyfriend died due to his carelessness? The fact that the university even has no explanation for the explosion proves that the doctor didn't throw SChan under the bus by blaming him back then when the uni investigated the explosion. It's just that she probably got jealous and mad that while she lost HC, HaRan had found happiness with the guy who caused HC to get mad during his final moments. 🙈
Another way to look at the last 17mins is that it was indeed from another universe/ lifetime and not just imaginary what-if. Specially given how QiMin's character reacts to certain factors, it's hard to strike it of as a simple "what if".🙊
I feel like that's pretty dumb of the writers. It's no secret they cannot write what they intend to so why even…
The writers could have used a loophole. Instead of transmigration, they could have just given original 80s' XX some kind of personaloty shift after she tried to commit suicide at the beginning. Kind of like how they handled time travel in "The Double", LOTFG, or even TPOB. The original novels had transmigration involved but their drama adoptations managed to maintain most of the original plot without using "the dream" sequence by simply giving the FLs a personaloty upgrade (and a little bit of foresight)
I loved this drama more than I expected, however the ending left me very disappointed and sad. Why couldn't they…
Ngl I was hoping they would follow a similar concept like with “How Dare You” - i.e. live a lifetime as 80’s XX and then come back to the present to meet the ML again (since there was so much foreshadowing that he might be there in the present day as well).
On the bright side we at least have the novel AND we can pretend that the drama ended at the 29 min point with a teeny tiny epilogue of their family having fun at the beach a bit later🙈
Hello, after they revealed it was a dream what happens? I've watch legally romance and it was a dream and i did…
I wouldn't call this ending a dream per say since the ML recognized the FL. More like coming back from another dimension?
The ML is a tough no nonsense Supervisor or director and the FL works in his team. After getting sabotaged, the FL gets fired from the company. On her last day, she gets stuck in an elavator with the ML. It malfunctions and somehow she gets transported back to 15+ years back. Things happen and the FL and ML in the new timeline eventually end up dating. Eventually she gets sent back to her original timeline. According to reality, she ended up in the hospital due to the elavator accident. Heartbroken since she lost her new life and the loving ML, she goes back to her former office (can't remember why). There she crosses paths with the ML again in another packed elavator. At first she ignores him since she assumed her "new life" was a dream...but turns out the ML too remembers "the dream".
They didn't say it explicitly but the ML holds on to her hand in the elavator and when they look at eachother, you KNOW that he remembers their love.
For a censored ending, I'd say it was pretty good as long as you don't overthink it. Careers can be built again and as for other irreversible factors, at least the couple had a chance to spend more time with their loved ones for years (the dream life went on for 10+ years).

I think I watched it shortly after Shooting Star. It was amazing to see Lee Sung Kyung’s range ❤️
That being said, it would be awesome if we could get a short spin off with them. Even 2 episodes 🙈

The writer has an interesting sense of humour 😅😅😅

It's been so long since I've grinned so much at the end of a K-Romance.
PS: LOVE how they incorporated THE dresses into the story without rushing the ending by doing an unrealistic timeskip!🤭
11/10

Sorry for the long spoiler filled reply!
Pretty relatable given what's going on in the world right now.
