I see. The summary above is a bit misleading for those who are looking for what you mentioned since the game doesn't really progress in parallel to real life- just that Xiu switches between avatars so she plays different characters. The Mayor's death is irrelevant 😅🙈
There is a major issue with the drama. The VR game scenes are boring, and I feel sleepy whenever they appear on…
The game is not the central focus of the drama. It's just how they met and influences the way they behave during the initial episodes. In the latter episodes the game kind of helps them navigate with life 🙈
It's a side gig for the ML and his bestfriend handles the management side.
Inspiration for a project bid. The key figure spearheading the project is somebody who has an emotional attachment…
Yes, the subs used for LBL in my site was pretty badly timed too. It was too fast/ non existent. Hopefully they'll fix it eventually. The issue wasn't really there in the last few episodes.
just wished second couple had a little more time, overall drama was good
In the corporate world, they are practically married if it helps.
They have too many "collaboration/ partnership" contracts...if anything goes wrong (hopefully not since they are so perfect for eachother!), the process would be like a divorce of sort 😅
please tell me if there’s any breakup in between or not. thank you!
They don't drag it since the FL is very vocal.
Honestly it doesn't even feel like a breakup- more like a breather since they are able to clear it pretty quickly/ most of the breakup essentially covers how the FL tries to sort through her feelings- she's trapped between her love for the ML whose only mistake was keeping too many secrets from her when she told him not to do it anymore vs. being a filial daughter.

Sure :)
Do you mean VR for the project or the game?
For the project, if I remember correctly, they will be using VR to give Lyman's customers a similar immersive experience like in Rongchang city but with a choice of decades.
With the game, my understanding is that it's a real escape room type of game setup. That's why the gaming location sets, props, food, and even fake snow are real.
The VR set is used for special effects like with the whole sequence with the ghosts and additional snow effect. VR is used here to enhance the gamer's experience. Even in ep 1, the fancy opening for the game was just a special effect to make the game feel more otherworldly instead of feeling like you are entering a new room. They might have sound effects too but honestly I can't recall now what kind of headset they use 🙈
There is a minor plothole when you consider the cctv footage/ leaked video since they didn't add the headsets in any of these bits but honestly it's not worth fretting over - i didn't even notice it until I saw the comments🙈
(Oops sorry - didn't realize my response was so long!)
I'm curious if something similar to this immersive role playing game exists... if it does I'd like to try one…
Probably available in China to a certain extent. I've seen some tourism related reels where they have some pretty insane events and the cosplay looks so amazing.
Or perhaps may be if an entity like TeamLab Japan collaborates with a high end escape room?
They both are architects, he is an established genius, she is aspiring. They meet at a cosplaying mystery VR game…
His screentime with the FL is pretty low and the FL is pretty no-nonsense so she politely draws a line from the beginning.
Once she realizes just how slimey he is, she kicks him out of her life. We don't even get the mandotary "farewell" conversation SMLs usually get with FLs in the final arc.
This might be a dumb question but I seemed to have missed the part (can't seem to find it), why the ML has to…
Inspiration for a project bid. The key figure spearheading the project is somebody who has an emotional attachment to a lane similar to where the FL lives. So the ML decides to live there for 3 months in order to get a full immersive experience that can influence his bid design.
It's also kind of a nod towards the drama's corporate theme/ the ML's late father's influence - buildings should have a soul. This is the reason why the ML's bid was able to win over established giants like the SML's company.
Guess it might be due to cultural influence as well in HX's mum's case? Family comes first over anything. I actually…
C'est la vie unfortunately.
I'm rather antisocial so I tend to use work as an excuse to get out of certain family excurssions -in my defence the parental units usually spring their plans on me last minute so even if I wanted to go, it's difficult to get leave.
My dad now thinks I'm a workaholic working at a soul crushing company so he often suggests quitting it...he'll even find me an alternate job 🙈
Ah you don't watch a lot of mainstream Kdramas I guess.
Kdramas are notorious for PPA. Kopiko is the worst since even during an extremely serious/ melancholy scene, sometimes they dare to use Kopiko as a way to "energize" the character (it's a caffein candy).
ok, ep25 and i'm a little annoyed how hu xiu's mom just assumes hx will quit her job??? after working so hard…
Guess it might be due to cultural influence as well in HX's mum's case? Family comes first over anything. I actually was surprised she didn't attack Xiao at the hospital when she saw him.
With Xiao's mum, I really couldn't deal with how naive she was. Glad that at least she didn't need a lot of convincing once she started to see the whole picture (compared to some drama mums who would rather be in denial forever).
But she has the exact same clothes in several other scenes before that. Unless they did not film them in the same…
True! That's so sweet and considerate of him
Probably right after they did the costume reveal, it might have seemed obvious perhaps? Idk how it works but seeing how experienced the cast is, they probably can visualize it better 🙈
I found this more balanced.
It's a side gig for the ML and his bestfriend handles the management side.
I haven't seen Subway in a long time and the skin care roller product is not promoted much either but PPA in general is still quite active.
If it's not on 26, check 25. It was in one of these episodes.
Hopefully they'll fix it eventually. The issue wasn't really there in the last few episodes.

Miss Zhou probably already knows based on some of her actions in the latter half of the drama.
