Honestly it's difficult to tell with Cdramas at times. At times you think they haven't but apparently they've already done it and sometimes it's not the case 🙈

It's specially difficult to guess with this couple since they've always been comfortable with eachother🙊

Seems like there will be a timeskip later towards the end. Probably nothing serious- just a pretty common thing with modern Cdramas.

2 large timeskips will be overkill so they'll probably keep the breakup simple. It suits the characters too since Xiu has made it clear that she likes to keep things straight forward. She knows that it's not Yu's fault either so once she figures out what to do with her parents, things will get better. Since his dad is actually innocent and he's at the final stages of finding proof, things shouldn't be too complicated.

I guess the commentors are fans of dead fish kisses seeing as the MC didn't have one of this kind of kisses. Yu's first kiss while HX was hallucinating doesn't count as a deadfish kiss since he wasn't expecting it/ consent issues would have made him look bad if he actually kissed her back.

Pei truly sucks though. It was his choice to leak it. Telling her is one thing (still pretty bad but at least it's an explainable loophole- she needs to know). Leaking it to the public was simply malicious.
