TBF we've had greedy murderous uncles in the past. But goooosh she has to tone down ๐๐๐
Think this time since the Queen Mother has a more active role compared to other dramas, we see her POV in more detail? As a mother she is being cautious but for whatever unknown reason she seems to fixate on Lee Ahn.
It almost sounds like she blames him for the former king's death. Guess we will find out soon ๐
Episode 1 of Perfect Crown was really good. I liked both leads a lot, and the female leadโs character seems…
How the kid became an king- his father, the former king, passed away during a fire back in 2022. As the next in line, naturally the young crown prince took over the throne. Since he's only 8 years old, the grand prince (ML) has to also act as the regent who manages the kingdom on behalf of the young king.
This is also why his mother is so hostile with the ML- the kid is lucky that his uncle doesn't seem to be secretly conspiring against him for the throne.
Hello, after they revealed it was a dream what happens? I've watch legally romance and it was a dream and i did…
I found the fact that the FL wasn't a damsel in distress and her focus on self love rather refreshing (compared to some dramas from last year - specially compared to Kdramas).
The MC's romance is more oriented towards partners that focus on mutual growth? It's a slow burn.
Annoying characters wise, i'd say the SML gets a tad annoying during the last quarter of the drama once he finds out an important secret. Some found it too random but if you focus on how his ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉpersonality has always been like, the shift of character while is excessive, it's not too unusual for him. You can skip his scenes if you find him annoying.
The second couple(FL's brother)'s story is rather meh but you can totally skip it.
I hope you enjoy it :) Just remember not to overanalyse the censorship ending. To get the true ending, just stop the drama at the 30-32min or so point of the last episode.
Stupid fragile FL and toxic manipulative ML once you removed all the soft lighting and slow piano tunes, why are…
The drama clearly depicted how 5 people (the Songs and Mr Yeorn) coped with the same trauma.
Song Ha Ran took it badly and put on so many walls unlike the others because just when she was ready to completely move forward, she lost yet another loved one abruptly- just like what happened when she was a kid. Her behaviour is realistic....not fragile.
I love the og girl from nowhere and Becky but I see mixed feelings in the comments... is it worth to start this?
It's interesting on it's own but you shouldn't watch it with the expectation that the new Nanno will be the same as the OG Nanno. This is more or less a spin off- not a continuation of the original series.
The OG series was better though. This just feels like another high school bully/ justice story with a sprinkling of supernatural elements.
He is an animator- how do you know for sure "he" used AI excessively? Asking since you sound like it distracted…
Sorry I meant that while art is important to the drama and it is part of SChan's identity, the writer could have easily switched it with another talent like fashion design, music or being an artissan and it would have not made a difference to the core plot. It just surprised me that the "AI" aspect could be so bad it could devalue a viewer's overall experience.
I wasn't critiquing OP btw- was genuinely curious. For Chan's character, I mostly noticed AI was used for the game avatar design which didn't come up much so wanted to know what were the other areas they used AI on.

Or are you referring to Crash Landing on You?
Fortunately Hui Ju doesn't seem to be a damsel in distress ๐ค๐ค๐ค
This is also why his mother is so hostile with the ML- the kid is lucky that his uncle doesn't seem to be secretly conspiring against him for the throne.
In reality, knowing how misogynistic S.Korea can be, the widowed SIL would likely be the one who would have to be cautious.
Seeing as the SML seems pretty chill too, she'll need to fill both sets of "irritating" shoes

Now if I mentioned what happened at the end/ the reason behind certain events, that would be a spoiler ๐
How about you?๐

PS: I just adore the fact that throughout the drama Genius was treated as part of the cast instead of a prop. Such a charismatic doggo๐พ
