It could be a crime of passion? With the Ex? I wasn’t really thinking that deep about her but ever since their…
Haha TMAI....they could have spent more time developing the crime instead of spending it on some of the less necessary scenes from the previous episodes😅
knowing who the killer is now makes so much sense lol but its just not written well like their fingerprints was…
Guess this was their attempt to show how incompetently they handled the case. Majority of the crucial evidence was found only because Sena cared about Laik afterall. Even the prosecutor noticed discrepancies (against his will) that the police failed to really raise.
Jaehee was a loose end. He knew somebody visited Laik around the time he went to the apartment. To make things…
Technically Laik's fingerprints being on the knife would be circumstancial evidence (at least to a point) once they prove somebody else entered the building at the time of the crime scene since it is his knife and the crime scene took place at his home.
From what I recall though, wan't the knife missing? My understanding of ep 11 was that for a moment she wanted to stab him too but she changed her mind.
HyeJoo is emotionally unstable so honestly I don't think even she knows what she wants half the time.
This version of events makes zero sense with the evidence we had been presented so far. How on earth do they fight…
My biggest pet peeve was how he bled out so quickly from the behind.
You can still see the hilt(?) of the knife so he wasn't stabbed all the way through but most of the bleeding was from under him. The fall wasn't impactful enough either for him to bleeding so profusely from his skull.🙈
im wondering as to why hyejoo visited jaehee that night? was she also in a prior relationship with him? if so,…
Jaehee was a loose end. He knew somebody visited Laik around the time he went to the apartment. To make things worse, JH was also actively blaming Laik for WS's murder. In her distorted logic, he had to die in order to protect Laik.
Why nobody’s guessing it might be the Gold Entertainment CEO?!! Since the earlier episodes, I've been getting…
The CEO has a complicated relationship with Laik and his mum. So even if he is awful and greedy he can’t truly hurt Laik since he is too emotionally connected to him. The same applies with the CEO and the way he treats Laik’s horrible mother- that’s why the CEO was trying to keep the contract scam a secret. I wouldn’t say he was a father figure but more like a close-ish uncle figure to Laik? Ep 09/10’s findings from his side don’t sound fabricated.
He really did feel perfect for a moment there though🙈
PS: I know you might have already seen the spoilers so you know who it is but the drama gave us a clue during last week’s episodes. I can’t recall if it was in ep 9 or 10 but the drama gave ann obvious sign that it wasn’t the CEO but could have been a different close acquaintance of Laik’s. Laik meets with the culprit during one of the episodes and after Laik left the meeting, the culprit did an interesting thing to show their frustration. At the end of ep 10, the drama gave the biggest clue when Laik opened the safe.
(Sorry for the cryptic PS - in case you see my comment before the other 2 comments above mine, I thought I’d try to be spoiler free since part of the fun is figuring out the truth 🙈)
I really loved how the show kept us guessing till the end..really well made..10/10. I dont think we will get to…
I feel like the main focus would be to prove her father’s innocence beyond reasonable doubt so that they can open the case again and the cops can do their job properly/ destroy (yes destroy) Kwak Sr’s so called reputation? They might go for a time skip to show the real culprit being caught though I’m not sure how that would work.
I think they changed the job background of FL due to broadcasting reasons. Korea I suppose is very strict over…
SML is her friend? 🥲
Is it worth trying at all? I loved the manwha (one of the reasons why i fell into the webtoon universe in fact) but I can try to compartmentalize if the story on it's own is interesting and not too tropey (or at least if it is, at least execute it well)🙈
There's an english movie from 2010 with a similar plot called "Life as we know it"
Also there's a cdrama called "The Love You Give Me" (single mum is forced to reunite with her first love/ kid's father- the father wasn't aware about his son's existance so he tries to win them back by living together with her). Second couple might get a bit annoying though depending on tastes but their scenes are skippable if you don't like them.
atp i don't think it's anyone of the people we know. hyejoo's dad or hyejoo they all are random useless people…
It could be a crime of passion? With the Ex? I wasn’t really thinking that deep about her but ever since their so called farewell from ep 9, it’s been bugging me.
-She was the one who voluntarily targeted the prosecutor. -She has beef with WS (seeing as he kind of was their communicator at least at one point) -She met Laik before the incident and it didn’t end in good terms -The missing piece of evidence from ep 10 could have been an old gift meant for her that she threw back at him when they broke up? (I might be grasping straws here) -The case is just too convenient in a way. Ruin Laik’s reputation in SK even if he is later found innocent so he will be forced to migrate to the US to start again (Plan B after WS was murdered unintentionally)
The craziest reveal would be if it turns out that the real culprit is the fourth member🙈. What if Jae Hee actually confronted WS and found out the truth but stormed out in anger…only he didn’t realize the fourth member had followed him? He could have heard WS and JH arguing? Once JH left, lLosing his cool, the fourth guy could have attached WS and accidentally stab him. The missing earring can be explained on the hyppothesis that Laik lost the earring during one of their shows previously and the fourth guy found it. He’d been meaning to return it but didn’t get a chance. Returning the earring would have been a good excuse to meet him that night to talk things over (the guy seemed pretty passive compared to the others to directly confront Laik). During the altercation he dropped the earring. Afterall he was willing to pretend that Jaehee was in the hospital with him without being prompted and he was the first to drop out of the band. He even has barely any screen time 🙈
NGL it could have been executed better though

Hopefully they won't make things unnecessarily complicated- the plot can be fun (and fresh for a recent kdrama) if done right 🤞
