Honestly his character was handled way. The way they threw karmic justice at him was insane. Even in his own home, after ruining Xiao's name, he still had the joy of hearing his dad praise Xiao while indirectly putting him down (scene where the father tried to comfor the mother after the name leak) and the step mother completely ignoring him because she was crippled with anxiety over Xiao's safety. The fact that Pei used to look down on Xiao for changing his name and now Pei is the one who has to change his company's name/ leave it?

TMAI - the couple is so well written. Even at their worst they did so well. ❤️

TFF and LBL are completely different.

This isn't a second chance romance. The level of angst is completely different. In TFF's case, some found the FL's origin story too traumatising whereas in this, even if the MC had their own setbacks and unfortunate past, it can't be compared to TFF so the viewer experience is different.

Hidden Love has a score of 9 which is a great score on it's own. Nothing to fret over. Even TFF has a score of 8.9 which is a great score for a cdrama in MDL.

My favourite kind of comments are those who get mad over scenes that are essentially the foundation of all dramas of a particular genre. It's like getting mad at a horror movie because it was too scary🤣

It's the fact that even after she had mentioned several times how she likes everything in the open, the accumulation of all his secrets finally pushed her off the ledge.

His reasoning is completely understandable but from her perspective it looks pretty bad- specially when she was already stressed. Even if her father wasn't involved it still would have hurt. Even Xiao Z admitted it.

Considering how quick witted the staff is and how hopelessly in love our MC is, I'm pretty sure they figured out their secret pretty quickly. Sun on the other hand....🤭🤭🤭

I love WYW but not really a fan of this specific kind of trope (being isekai'd) so wasn't really that keen to watch the drama. But after watching LBL, I'm now more motivated since I loved the concept behind Rongcheng and CXX's NPC acting.

It's more like 25% gaming/ 75% real life.

They meet during a game since the ML is an NPC in it. The FL's main objective is to win against the ML's NPC since he tricked her during their first game together (she was at a low point in life and the game was supposed to make her feel better but unfortunately the ML was too cunning).

Eventhough the game uses VR the players look like their actual selves ( it's basically a high tech hybrid murder mystery escape room kind of game setup).

By coincidence they later meet in real life and that's how it starts.

I really love how expressive she is. Hu Xiu is so fierce! The fact that even when her world is crumbling she still had the heart to contact her colleague to make sure things are made as comfortable as possible for XZ once he gets back? And the way she verbally slapped Pei at the hospital? So badass!

You are forgetting to consider the ML's relationship with his family. He isn't threatened by his step brother's attention alone. It's more complex than mere jealousy.

The Peis are dangerous and extremely manipulative (as we have seen how the brother handled the competition so far) so Yu doesn't want Hu Xiu to get caught up in their drama. If you watch from ep 20ish onwards till 26 you will see that his fear is justified.

It's a hybrid escape room game. VR is used for the special effects. The rest is real- real props- real building sets- real fake snow- real food.

They infuse this experience later with one of the company's projects as well and how it works is explained in more detail. It's more like an evolved version of the tech you might be familiar with so users get the ultimate experience.

Then again, in Xiu's pov, they were serious enough that ZhiYu was planning to introduce her to his mother and her own family liked him enough to celebrate the New Year with him 🙈
