For instance the scene where Sol ran towards Sunjae in ep 1 at the pool vs. the scene where Hiuju rushes towards I An to escape princess lessons. Without context some haters started to compare the 2 actresses eventhough the context behind the 2 scenes are completely different. There were a few other scenes as well but this particular post was everywhere on my X for the past 2-3 days.

The contract leak might be a ruse anyway. Like you said, I An’s been plotting for so long. It doesn’t make sense how it would easily get leaked. The timing is also suspicious specially given how the spy met the PM right before the leak happened. The reason behind her nervous state was not explained either (seeing as she couldn’t have been directly involved in the poisoning).

It’s possible that I An may have laid a trap?

Nothing hurts fans more than feeling betrayed by their idols (which in turn helps the Queen Mother’s agenda) so as overused this trope is, it works with this story.

HOWEVER I agree you have a good point on priorities. I really hope they don’t rush the drama. Since the script was written back before 12 eps dramas were the norm, I’m afraid to imagine how the pacing might get affected. There are too many potential suspects at the moment and the final resolution isn’t very clear🙊

It might not be the original. Previews can be misleading but given the emotional rollercoaster the PM went through in ep 8, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he leaked about the contract. In a way it’s the least harmful way to end their alliance.

Seems like he is done waiting for them to divorce (eventhough it’s barely been only a few days). Makes sense given how it’s clear that Hindu’s priorities have changed. Leaking the contract is the least harmful way to split them in a way. The PM wouldn’t give a damn about Castle Group’s shares/ he won’t get into trouble with the crown since the QM pretty much wanted things to unravel anyway.

TBF it isn’t a contract marriage without a contract. It’s pretty standard for contract marriage dramas to have their contract leaked - specially with high profile marriage dramas regardless of the country.

Why hide the fact that they are still friends at the very least? When Akira's brother asked the tutor directly is he was still in contact with his brother, the tutor acted as if they barely saw eachother after middle school ended. There was no reason to lie about such a simple thing since even the brother encouraged them to interact.

I An's threat alone wouldn't have truly shaken him since he knows Hiuju is strong willed but the moment Hiuju showed her soft side for I An, the PM KNEW things are going to get complicated for his delusional hopes🙈

The queen mother was way too chill when she taunted the PM right before the wedding. It was almost like she dared him that he will regret his decision shortly. (Emphasis on shortly).

Probably. She looked extra guilty during the wedding scenes. It also wouldn't make sense how she would know that things are going to get sabotaged unless she was directly involved.

The Queen Mother definitely is the mastermind behind the poisoning so it makes sense she'd use her spy to do her bidding.

Regardless of his feelings, their dynamic as friends was so nice. During the early episodes, she only was able to relax when he was around. It would be sad to think that HJ could lose all their precious memories together as friends over this. Besides it would be too cliche🥲

It's probably the burden of being part of the crown and being born into a dynasty family. You can't even say she got tricked into becoming the queen since even before they got married the brother had shown signs (i am assuming based on tonight's clip).


The more you suppress your feelings, it gets worse. And in this case, I An turned into enemy #1 the moment it became clear that even her husband, the king, was willing to handover the crown to him. If he was a typical Kdrama royal uncle, the little king would have been deposed...or worse by now 🙈

We now have 2 dramas - the Royal couple’s romance/ denial AND a thriller- how long can the poor Prime Minister resist. Honestly he should have been more suspicious the moment he saw how chill the Queen Mother was.🙈
