1)When/ why did they fall in love?
I An fell for Huiju because she was the opposit of him. Even when they were kids, she persevered through any obstacle thrown at her/ didn’t fold despite how harsh her family and society was to her. For a suppressed young prince (specially as a guy that’s not impressed by materialist things as indicated in ep 9), Huiju would have definitely caught his attention even as a kid. His love for her probably deepened once they started to spend more time together - long enough to see her true self behind her cocky mask.

As for Huiju? We can see it happened more gradually after they started to spend time together during their “dating” period. Is it really that unusual for someone so unloved to fall for the first person that sincerely cherishes her as she is even if it could hurt him? The PM doesn’t count because while he was nice and caring, it wasn’t completely unleashed like with I An.

I don't understand why some viewers call Hiuju weak after last night's episode / mention that they ruined her spunky character.

The fact that she kneeled and begged her father to help her the second she saw him shows how strong she is. She meant every word. She let go off her pride and past VALID grievances with her family to protect I An. That's such a difficult thing to do- specially for someone like Hiuju.
The fact that she did it even before giving her father a chance to react emphasises her desperation even more.

The problem is that the clause about the divorce sounds ironclad and cannot be negotiated.

I An probably didn’t want Hiuju to realize that the reason why he agreed to marry her wasn’t just business. If she knew he liked her A LOT, it could complicate things. Like everybody keeps pointing out, Hiuju doesn’t have to marry a Prince to get a title after all.

Most likely Roy just felt bad for not being more considerate about Zen’s “first” time? Since he is Zen’s “first”, he wants to pamper him rather than just being physical for the sake of it.
