As for YG, I also feel like what you said is true. There is something so naive about him in the way he interacts in general with everybody. Like his only goal is to be an actor so nothing else matters- at least till Ha Na showed up and rocked his world.

Even his relationships with WSB and JYJ/ the way he speaks in general feel virtuous. It wouldn't even be a surprise considering even a small scandel could derail his dream🙈

As for WSB, he never truly admitted to being completely single. The way he reacted when he said that partners need to be considerate when it comes to discussing dating history was rather telling. They left his dating history ambiguous on purpose.

The SML's dating past is irrelevant but as a struggling actor he probably was cautious.

Ha Na is the only confirmed perpetually single character in the drama thanks to her career and mother.

It's quite popular with certain Korean celebrities so that's how I know about it.

The store's concept and even brand concept reminds me of Adererror (Korean niche fashion brand).

It's a bit too on the nose at times. Even the logo.

With the few idol dramas i've seen, trauma usually is part of the package. Either due to a tragedy in the family, a life changing accident, a close friend's suicide, parental abandonment issues, or betrayal, an ordinary netizen finds solace by stanning an idol.

In comparison, Nam Da Reum's experience feels more relatable. She's an average stan who is loyal to her idol and makes him her whole world.

With the ML, he might have mother related issues given the foreshadowing so far but honestly can you remember the last time you watched a drama where all the parents were satisfactory?🙈

Honestly I'm curious to know what the penalty clause is if he breeches his contract by falling for her. He is currently acting like a recovering alcoholic that is being haunted by a soju spirit (Ha Na) 🙈

I'm not too worried about Soo Bin personally since you can see he's definitely got some kind of plan in the works to ensure their dream will not die (plus he has plot armour).

Honestly I'm more curious to see if Yu Geon will continue to stay quiet. Ep 10 will be the episode that will challange his loyalty towards his contract vs. his heart. Will he fight to stand besides Ha Na as hee ally since the parasites (media) will definitely attack her for something out of her control or will he runaway again?

Hopefully! Since one of the SML's issues is that he misses what was lost when they disbanded, perhaps that would be his arc? Eventually at least?

NGL when they first focussed on KHG after the first bolt of lightening, I half expected a PTSD flashback 🙈

The fact that NDR actually is a positive contribution to the company makes her worthy of her dream. Fate didn't give her a chance- she actually earned it.

It's really refreshing. Even the corporate sideplot is interesting since you don't usually get to see the BTS of a fashion label.
I just hope they can continue with this momentum.

Nope - the ML and SFL’s relationship purely is professional with a bit of disdain since they’ve had their issues (which will clear eventually).

There is no major love triangle between the ML, SML, and FL as they have their own stories.

I just love how the drama tries to maintain the story as realistic and relatable as possible despite it revolving around the premise of living a Stan’s dream.

It’s nice how NDR’s Stan life origin story wasn’t so dramatic for instance. It’s quite relatable and realistic and yet easily explains why she is the way she is without any unnecessary trauma dumping. Even tonight’s storm - it’s just a storm with no PTSD involved.

Even with KHG, he’s just a workaholic CEO but is still close to his roots. He’s in it for the love of the game and his brand - not for the $$$ so it makes sense why he would be living in the same neighborhood as NDR.

Haha that’s true! At the very least, they probably pity poor Director Woo for being too smitten 🙈

TBF the villain has a romance worth killing for?🙈

In ep 10 atm. Seems like the guy was always a psycho. The detective and his wife was out on a drive one day and because the killer was driving recklessly behind his vehicle, the cop stopped him and gave him a warning. Seems like this triggered the killer to kidnap and murder the wife. Perhaps the objective was to make a mockery out of the detective in the process since his precious law couldn’t save his wife in the end?

The other possibility is that perhaps the detective was working on another murder case connected to him and he wanted to antoganize the guy (it would explain the reckless driving for no reason). I’m too lazy to go back to the initial episodes though to confirm this so I might be wrong 🙊

This would have performed better as a movie NGL instead of dragging the story

Personally, the only good thing that came out from the ex’s nonsense was how WSB’s patience was tested? Not once did he even hint at the ex that JYJ and he were a couple at present. He focused on the past and made it sound like he was still interested in her without betraying JYJ’s trust in him.

Even in the car, I found their conversation rather mature. He told her how he felt about their current predicament, but instead of blaming her for not being firm with the guy about their relationship status, he simply apologized in advance for any uncontrollable childish behavior that might come up from his end at times.
