On second thought, could there be a possibility where the PM did inform Hiuju or at the very least I An about the leak (but it was too late to cancel the event) so the Royal couple just pretends to be shocked so they can catch the culprit?
The arguement from the prelease could be related to something else? It's not the first time previews have gaslit us afterall š
They didn't share secretary Do's backstory right? I'm really curious since she's so fiercely loyal to Hiuju. Seeing…
You do have a fair point! The QMās father totally reminds me of a sly fox š Thinking back, the QM does have a tendency to get volatile when she is nervous so I guess it doesnāt really match how she acted through out the wedding scenes. She may have just guessed that the P,M was bound to blow up soon like you said.
The spy girl has her own lore at this point -from being the PMās spy to being an illegitimate daughter of the former king out for revenge𤣠Park Majia is probably the key since they did focus way too long on her name (unless there was something else mentioned on her form but we were too distracted to notice). We probably will find out this weekā¦hopefully?š
Perfect Crown definitely was worth the wait! I was almost worried that they might not be able to live up to the hype but theyāve done a great job so far (specially given how MEH most recent Kromcoms have been lately)š¤
IKR?!BWS has the perfect proportions for royalty. He has that āvibeā - The nationās Prince.š¤ I just hope they donāt end up giving him a near-date scene too (he seems to love them a lot). IU too managed to make HJās narcissistic personality really likable. Normally Iād find that kind of character annoying but something about her is just so endearing you canāt help wanting to root for herā¤ļø
How would she say No when he hasn't confess his feelings to her, she isn't a mind reader
From what I have noticed, Huiju doesnāt recognize acts of love. It took her nearly dying twice to finally take I Anās feelings seriously. So she probably wouldnāt be able to recognize the PMās concern as romantic love and not just friendly concern.
Sheās smart but not when it comes to emotions. Itās just that sheās not used to it. Or alternatively, she chooses to be blind about it because for better or worse, until recently, the PM was her only friend (excluding secretary Do).
Obviously it was an attempt to recreate the success of qot..1 main issue is that it lacks in emotional scenes..qot…
QOT? How can you compare an ML who was willing to take advantage of his āterminalā wife (from a 100% love marriage too mind you) just so he could escape his suffocating in-laws with PC - a drama where the ML never hesitated to protect his so called ācontractā wife even for a second?

Haha-the speech bubble on the Lordās head sounds pretty possible š
Thereās also the fact that the Queen Mother asked her head lady in waiting to ensure there arenāt any clues {canāt recall the exact term used] left before the investigation begins. It was an interesting point to focus on. Is it because she suspects that her father was involved in the poisoning? Or was she involved in some way? Or did she have her own plan ready on standby to derail the wedding that couldnāt be used because of the poisoning incident? She did seem so smug when she spoke to the PM earlier that day afterall - as if she knew something would happen? Or was she simply being cautious just to be safe since she doesnāt want I An to find anything that could backfire on herš¤
Then thereās also the spy situation- why didnāt they let us know what happened between the PM and the spy?? Itās so infuriating since the writer knows how to tease us ššš
I know how you feel - I was knee deep during my 2521 days - so many hypothesis and conspiracy theories. I still havenāt learnt my lesson 𤣠Then again - how can you resist? The clues and red herrings are right there š

As the prime minister, he'd make a powerful ally or adversory since the Crown doesn't have absolute power. That's the reason why the Queen Mother keeps egging him to get him to join her side.
I An also technically needs his support to make sure whatever his end game is put into motion.
Someone on X meantioned that they may be symbolic. As a child she had a nervous tick where she'd pick on fingers/ nails when she was frustrated. The press ons are a reminder that eventhough on the outside, she seems brave and glamorous, behind it, she still has not outgrown her insecurities. She's just wearing a mask- just like the press on nails.

I feel that Choi's situation might not be that unusual since it's a bit of a common practice to abandon unwanted /unaffordable children near public places. If it was during Joseon times, Choi would have been an Eunach probably. The fact that they gave him such a high position though is interesting since royal companions tend to be from noble families too usually- unless this was another way used by the king to undermine I An's status?
The PM definitely wouldn't hurt HJ and his reaction during the poisoning scene felt so raw. As for the leak...idk. compared to potential death, it doesn't feel as harmful but is still effective enough to end the marriage so it would be a good opportunity for the PM. Specially considering the fact that he didn't warn the royal couple's team as soon as he saw the article?
The Queen mother and her father are so suspicious but at the same time always looks so shocked, tht it's hard to figure out who's causing all the trouble, and who is working on damage control ššš

Hi, when does the MC reunite after he erased her memories? Will there be a change in their dynamic? Be more passionate I mean? In either hate, love, or care?

Have you watched First Love-Hatsukoi? It was really good. 9 episodes- available on Netflix.
It can be emotional at times but the ending was worth it. There are more dramas out there but this one is the most memorable to me in the recent past. It's targetted at mature audience though (few š scenes).

True! Even the fact that the royal edict somehow reached I An without getting destroyed is suspicious. Could it be possible the former king was conscious enough to handover the edict to I An right before he succumbed to his injuriesā¦.or the FIL murdered him to proctect his daughter and the crown? š
It might not be the original. Previews can be misleading but given the emotional rollercoaster the PM went through…
But a scandal is way less dangerous than getting poisoned again right?
She will be ostracised for awhile and castle Group's shares will take a dive but if the priority is to keep her alive, this would be a good solution (at least to a delusional mind) right? The PM seems like the type who would support the "greater good".

TBF it isnāt a contract marriage without a contract. Itās pretty standard for contract marriage dramas to…
Given how the drama hasnāt dragged obstacles beyond half an episode, theyāll probably wrap it up within half - 1 episode.
The contract marriage is the main theme right? I mean thatās what they had been promoting since last year. The palace drama is secondary. The contract marriage is key to winning both objectives (HJās wish to have a title and I Anās wish to break his shackles). From Hiujuās side we are seeing the classing flaw behind contract marriage romances. She didnāt like him before the contract and even had trust issues during the initial contract period, but now by ep 9, she will accept her feelings.
Itās good in a way that he didnāt say āDwaeā. If not X would be drowning with even more ridiculous allegations…
TMAI. On the bright side, the more hate PC gets, the more successful it is (just like how it was back when LR was airing). Itās rather pathetic really.
Besides dramas do pay homage to actorsā past roles at times too with little teases and it can be fun. The most recent one I recall is all the character homages that were done in KLT. It was like we were sharing an inside joke with the charactersš
