On When Destiny Brings the Demon Aug 18, 2025
I have to ask...is the giant cobra a familiar? Or is he actually some kind of celestial figure? 🙈

Asking since I've seen so many reels of him trying to get petted 🙈

(Haven't watched the drama yet- curiousity got the better of me)

He really needs to stop taking things personally and just focus on the client 🤦‍♀️

Like in most of the cases they had a good chance of winning but his cockiness is what keeps messing things up🙈

Like with the artist for instance. Even the mother was fine with taking the blame but after his team started to attck the defendant, KHM took matters into her own hands 😅

Because she obviously lied. The student was trying to scare her naive looking teacher in the worst way possible…
Since the ML is a host (and a very competitive one at that), some of his actions can be polarizing I guess

Personally what I like about the drama is how they portray all the characters as flawed.

Who is the women at the end of ep 6? Another love interest? Isn’t it too late for that?
Nah probably an acquaintance/ family/ friend. Yun's heartbreak is one of the sideplots so if they add another former flame into the mix, it will undermine his story with his ex wife.

TBF they never even made strength her main focus. She uses her flexibility and agility to move through along with her strategic moves- speed instead of braun.

I love the way he loves her😭. Always supporting never trying to take her shine 🤧. I don’t want it to end
That's what I love about yesterday's episode too. It started with a case of "marrital ownership" through Li but they concluded the episode with a depiction of what a true partnership is supposed to be like (HeXiao)

Never heard innocent until proven guilty? Why don't people mind their own life instead of keep dragging someone's…
From what I've read it's a "he said" vs. "she said" case. The whole situation with the fake bruises hurt her case.

So it's difficult to blindly support her completely since at the end of the day she did fake bruises and lie to the court whatever her reason may be. He has the right to sue her since his livelihood (and even his co-stars and crew) depends on his reputation.

Watching the drama despite his rumours- the drama doesn't exclusively revolve around LJW (he's not wven the protagonist)- the remaining cast and crew doesn't deserve being boycotted so some would choose to watch it for them (aside from his believers and those who aren't convinced by the rumours).

Guysss. Wanna ask first, is Ml a fuckboi? Does he fck his client? How about fl? Is she a doormat? Is she the "I…
The ML doesn't sleep with his clients (he confirmed it in an offhand way in ep 4). He's been a host for about 1 years so far so despite his cockiness, he's still quite naive.

Drop cuz why the hell the fm didn't call cops on her student sleeping with a grown ass guy
Because she obviously lied. The student was trying to scare her naive looking teacher in the worst way possible but fortunately the teacher had sense enough to first investigate her claims (I'm assuming you only watched ep 1).

It could have worked too to a certain point since even throughout their interviews, you can see that her distress went beyond her injuries.

FL is beyond ridiculous. How can she use love as a reason to withdraw consent, guess what contract will be invalid…
It was their hail mary. In reality the CEO would have gotten away with everything if it wasn't for the fact that he was lusting after her lawyer (KHM)/ didn't want his private life used as ammo during his company's IPO.

The point of litigation is proving the case one way or the other beyond reasonable doubt. It doesn't have to be 100% perfect as long as you can convince the court (kind of like a debate). Yun's team was never planning to win the case but instead minimize the damages.

The fact that the model was manipulated emotionally was a good enough reason to try to get the court to listen IF the CEO wasn't willing to settle privately.

It does seem wierd that we see only Hyo Min getting all the cases. Its more about her. The morning after scene…
The others probably have cases too sinxe they give various updates during their meetings- we are following her cases or anything she gets herself tangled into since we are following her story.

Perhaps if the other first years ask for her help with something, we might get to see them in action (they do sound competent though seeing how Yun doesn't really challange them during their meetings).

Honestly it's basically like Resident Playbook- lawyer edition. You have a sprinkling of romance and personal drama…
Haha totally agree with you with everything. The guy misunderstood that they did something so was ready to let his guard down only to be teased.

It's sweet that he wanted to know everything about her past (down to her childhood) just so he can be the person who truly knows her best. Normally you'd find it meddling but it doesn't feel that way for some reason with him🤭

Exactly. He’s just a pawn that joined in later. His downfall depends on how long he is planning to keep secrets from Xiao's crew.

Why was Hyo Min sitting there like a dumbass at the club and then when they met again? She should have gotten…
The club situation, she admitted that she purposely stayed back to learn more about him. In a way it makes sense why she tried such a desperate route seeing as their case wasn’t really an easy win but yes she should have known better.

Her idol calling her a cheap lawyer is equivalent to a punishment in a way since reputation is everything in S.Korea. Yun is strict and she just got him to respect her as a lawyer. This jab would have left quite the sting.

The second couple really was a pleasant surprise. The assistant is so likable and I loved her attitude with him (on a side note, for all those who are freaking out over the MC’s age gap, this should be a good distraction since seems like the second couple too has an age gap of sorts)🤭

It would be amazing if she could expose him but IDK if she could since they signed an NDA. I’d like to believe his shit gets exposed eventually. His lifestyle choices is his business but coercing someone into it and being arrogant enough to think he can escape all consequences is just terrible.

Does anyone else feel like the lighting is off in some scenes? Like sometimes the character expressions aren't…
I wonder if it’s again symbolism? The ML currently is in turmoil. All his flashback are filled with light whereas most of his present scenes that do not involve the team are usually in the dark after all. Eventually once he has healed, they’ll probably transition the brightness to more vibrant colors.

I finished ep 6. Isn't there symmetry in the episode? I like symmetry. Based on the earlier comments I thought…
He might have 2 homes? An apartment close to his office and one a bit further away (may be his old marital home)? The backyard looks like the one from the flashback right-too lazy to check it now?

I love your theory on symmetry. It does feel like a journey of sorts and how different people handle the aftermath once a relationship ends.
