Yesss! I'm almost sure that Yun will handover the perfume/ soap box to KHM or at least his whole team as a gesture of goodwill since it really is a waste to throw them away when he was the one who requested them in the first place.
I don't think things will end badly for them in the long run. The fact that the friend kept antagonizing Yun by playing the repeat game can be seen as his way of breaking the ice? Their situation sucks but I'm sure the friend feels bad too. They all just need to move forward. Who knows, Yun might even end up being the baby's samchung someday (in the long long run). Friendship works in mysterious ways afterall.
How are you able to be so patient??? I tried this several times and failed drastically this year alone (I have…
As a self proclaimed drama torture addict, I applaud your perseverance πππ
I remote work so if I know the latest episode is going to be a good one (ep 28 and 30 now ππ) I find it so difficult to focus for the rest of the release day. π π π
Totally agree with you on your take on C-drama durations. I too avoided many for the same reason but now I'm grateful for itπ
MDL definitely is the worst place to be if you are trying to avoid temptation and spoilers π€£
Honestly after the last episode I donβt believe in a romance anymore. I think it will end in some kind of mentorship.…
They might not have a full blown romance but they might give an open ended ending where the audience can decide what happens next? Kind of like what they did with "Strangers Again"?
The director probably used the CEO as a tool to make us and the male lead jealous, but him getting so close to…
Ex and Yun Gym shenanigans- TMAI π€£ I seriously half expected the ex to confront Yun to get some intel. Instead he was busy sculking around a blissfully unaware Yun π
Imagine if Yun actually asked him why was the ex following him?π€£

True that could be a possibility. I mean she must have been nice (if we leave the whole abortion arc out of the equation) if she got Yun to let loose the way he was in their flashbacks. Who would have ever thought Yun made soap during his off time after all eh? The friend might have given up his feelings onceYun and the Ex got together? Or may be he never even realized it. Who knows π
Yes. 2 years after the divorce, the ex and his high school friend got together and eventually married.
The high School friend was a childhood friend of the Ex before he met Yun so the implication is that all 3 were very close with eachother- but no there was no cheating involved.
It is a bit icky but it wasn't like the friend stole the ex from Yun. Yun and the Ex were not at a point where reconciliation was an option so there's no point hating her new relationship (at least IMO)
for the ep3 no contact accident case, did we get any conclusion/verdict? i feel like they left it halfway, i mean…
While the final verdict wasn't given, ideally what would have happened is that the mother's case was dismissed. If the defendant's company wishes, they could counter sue her for defamation if they already haven't. And given the dangerous situation she put her son through, it's possible the Korean version of Child Protective Services may get involved to help the mother and son (along with court mandated therapy)- idk if it's something the judge can rule within this case itself though.
As for the son's disability, it's probably temporary. Once he gets the right therapy, he'll probably walk again.
(This is just speculation btw- as far as Yun's team goes, once the case was dismissed/ the defendant won, their job is done which is probably why they didn't really go into detail).
The cutting of the episode to introduce the scene where she met that guy at the bar is very choppy, the transition…
I don't she expected him to be so bold infront of all the other lawyers? And she seemed a little unfocussed anyway after their conversation.
The unintentional encounter at the club did give her first hand experience to understand just how manipulative he can be? It might have helped her to understand the victim's mindset better.
Their encounter at the club also was what helped them to finalize an otherwise impossible thedious lawsuit so easily. The cocky CEO could have taken a more beneficial route (since both Yullim and L&S teams agreed separately that the victim doesn't really have a strong case) but fortunately the fool's mind functions by his π instead of his brain so he settled in a way that didn't really hurt the victimπ€¦ββοΈ
NGL it was kind of refreshing to see the ex genuinely worry about KHM's safety. Sure he was a bit pushy (and stalking Yun was hilarious) but it's nice to know that despite how he is usually portrayed there's some light at least.
Was he jealous and crossing a line? Sure in a way but honestly knowing how scummy the client was, anybody would be concerned π
I knew it the breakup was more amicable than we thought, now the only thing left is whether there was any fishy…
No fishy business. It makes sense how the friend and ex would have gradually fallen for eachother during the 2 years. She is his friend afterall and he would have comforted her since despite it was her choice the ex and Yun did truly love eachother. It's realistic to fall for your friend given their shared history and continuous close proximity.
Did the friend always love her? We will never know nor is it important to the story since he wasn't the reason why they divorced.
there top 3 lawyer company, fl supposedly should be a lawyer from that company. so maybe to show that she end…
True it doesn't really seem logical to use the same guy when it's obvious that he can't outsmart Yullim and always resorts to underhand tricks (which is important considering the fact that Yun himself said that the L&S team is supposed to be stronger than Yullim's).
There's actually a limit on the number of costume dramas per platform per month right now? On what grounds? π π π I…
TBH i haven't really seen in MDL's Kdramas or Cdrama profiles where they specifically mentioned the other countries they compare standards with. I don't really read MDL articles so probably I missed it.
With Kdramas, I'd say it's mostly social views in general? Like how Kdramas can be misogynistic for instance? Also in the recent past a lot of dramas that were adopted from queer source material such as Jyengnyeon, get a lot of hate for changing the story to please some netizens, which in turn ruin the the essence of the source material. With Jdramas the biggest complains I've seen so far revolve around promoting cheating/ questionable age gaps/ intimacy levels/ dead fish kisses (I might have missed the more sensitive issues).π
His entire reaction to her pregnancy was disrespectful and taunting. She was incredibly patient with him. She's…
I'm not saying what he said was right. They both handled it badly but at the same time it just feels unreasonable for her to expect him to stay by her side too.
Her wanting the abortion isn't wrong at all and her fears at the time too is understandable. But she made a choice to keep it hidden. She could have risked ther marriage and given him the choice of either being a supportive partner and go ahead with the abortion together, or resent her choice. By hiding it, it made the whole abortion even worse than it already was.
If she gave him the choice to do the abortion willingly, this would have been fair enough. If he ended the marriage because he didn't want to go ahead with the abortion (before it was done), she would have every right in the world to say that he could have stayed (after all the abortion wasn't going to make her sterile and people can change just like him). But he wasn't given that choice to make so she cannot expect him to stay either.
Yun should move on and what he said at the bench was not nice BUT she didn't have to say "if you stayed by my side" either.
Her need to make him see the light is understandable but her phrasing is poor given the circumstances. There were better ways to say it.
New episode didn't have anything romantic honestly it was very very platonic ππππ but still I was…
If it helps, it looks like KHM is the proud new owner of Yun's handkerchief. She used it to clean the coffee spill (and the teaser for tonight's episode shows that Yun has a new handkerchief).
How are you able to be so patient??? I tried this several times and failed drastically this year alone (I have…
Haha that's pretty strategic of you- very on theme with LOTFG π
Personally waiting for at least half of the episodes to get aired makes things harder since you get used to bingeing the show. I foolishly did this for LOTFG and this other C-drama I'm following at the moment and believr mr when i say, after breezing through 14+ episodes over the weekend, the daily wait is torture. Fortunately I have the teasers to help me be patientπ.
The good thing with C-dramas is that they release many episodes per week. Imagine waiting for 36 episodes to get released if it was under a 2 episode weekly schedule like with Kdramas or 1 per week like with Jdramas? π

But yes I agree, her choice of phrasing "if you sticked around" was completely unnecessary.
