There's actually a limit on the number of costume dramas per platform per month right now? On what grounds? đ đ đ I…
TBF it's not like any other country gets a free pass either. Since LOTFG is a C-drama, their standards specifically are judged here.
Similarly in a lot of Jdramas, you see viewers criticising J-standards too. I saw this twice happen in 2 J-BLs this week. Similarly it's the same with Korean dramas and K-standards. I guess some viewers thrive on it or simply expect their individual views to be the norm.
Point 1 - Ep 2 - technically they started the case by defending the âbad guyâ. The original property damages…
It is interesting how ethics come into play with Yun's team vs all the other lawyers ngl. I guess it is for the plot since this isn't supposed to be a gritty drama like The Devil Judge for instance (my k-legal drama experience is very limited đ)? Then again if we really need a real explanation the drama shows how seniors can influence the team? Yun is seen as a professional who looks down on corruption (he even refused the partnership title) so his influence can be seen in the way he handles cases even if his choice is limited?
at the same time for instance).
The FL has to be good and nosy for the plot to go forward.
In a way, Yun was forced to take the abusive father's case (it wasn't obvious but the threat was there - "you have to win this case for Yullim's financial future".). Yun says he wants to be unbias but you can see in every case he does get abit bias in the way he supports the FL. Yun's direct subordinate/ KHM's supervisor again hasn't really been tested personally. He cares about the rookies and does Yun's bidding. Similarly, we don't really know much about the rookies other than the FL's college friend nor have they been really tested yet to truly label them as good or bad (they can be a good teamplayer while being unscrupulous at the same time like the female L&S attorney from ep 5).
About the relationship- he might have been good because he wanted her to like her? Since he made it clear during a date that he values perfection, I am curious to know how he found out about her parents (no hate to him but if your gole was to marry into a family that has a legacy/ perfect genes, you won't really waste your resources? Unless he changed overtime and just got lucky that his genius girlfriend was also from a powerful family) đ
Just a few notes:I thought the case in episode 5 wasnât nearly as intriguing as the previous cases, but still…
The dog is like his child- you can't replace him. If anything, she should let him keep Hash or at least give him better terms. With a baby on the way, things are anyway going to be hectic at her place anyway in a few months time.
His entire reaction to her pregnancy was disrespectful and taunting. She was incredibly patient with him. She's…
Just realized my message was too long and TMI.
Honestly it all comes down to this- if she divorced him because she did not want kids but he wanted kids/ he couldn't get past the abortion, that's perfectly fine. It's her right. BUT she has no right to say "this could have been your baby". She is not an abuse victim to have the higher ground. At best they are both at the same level (if you choose to ignore how she lied even after getting caught).
The divorce was the right move at the time specially since they had to co-parent Hash. Saying that kid could have been his is unnecessary given the reason why they divorced. She should have just ended their conversation by letting him know that she knows that he would have been a good father but it wasn't meant to be with her.

I do see her point of view-in fact I am in her position myself at the moment (choose to be child free/ single since I'm not ready for the next step despite everybody's pressure).
I also understand why she hid it from him BUT after he found out by accident, she shouldn't have continued with the charade. Even when he gave her a chance to explain herself she continued to deny the pregnancy. I get that she might have panicked at the moment and at the time I watched that episode I was open minded enough to understand that you can't judge her since we didn't know her side.
After ep 5 though, it's hard to be more supportive towards her because of the way she said it. She herself admitted that the way she handled the abortion was wrong and she should have told him but then later saying that if he had sticked around longer, the kid could have been his is just being defensive again.
Is it really fair of her to expect him to just be ok with her deception and continue to play "happy doggo" family with her? It's not just the abortion itself but the fact that she lied about it. The way she phrased it was wrong.
Yes things could have been different but it isn't only the ML's reponsibility to stay with her despite what she did. It was her responsibility too to work together in their marriage. She herself acknowledged that Yun was a good person. Is it seriously that unreasonable to think that she could have at least tried to be honest with him at any point at all? At least after he found out? If they split up because it was clear they were incompatible, she had no right to twll him he should have stuck around when she herself didn't know that she would change her mind later. Did she expect him to wait till they were old and grey for her to want kids? Imagine the resentment that would have built upđ
There are better ways to tell Yun to move on.
The way she said it is borderline gaslighting him into believing that his feelings did not matter at all during their marriage. The fact that he let her go instead of forcing her to change her mind shows that he wasn't that unreasonable. Hell, he even let her be the main parent of their dog (if he truly despised her, he could have used his lawyer skills to negotiate the co-parenting terms in a way that was favourable to him).
OK I WILL BE STRONG!Putting this on hold (OK TRYING to )until episode 26 is available on Viki because we're at…
How are you able to be so patient??? I tried this several times and failed drastically this year alone (I have access to Netflix but Cdrama updates are late usually) but always end up watching them on other đ´ââ ď¸sites even though I really want to support the official viewer ratings badly. đ
Isn't it funny? No one know her identity in her previous army. When she spend most of the time with them.đ¤ŁBt…
TBF everybody who we know that found out she was a woman was either because they touched her chest (XJ by accident/ the dancer had tried to tease her thinking she was a man) or they saw her dressed like a woman in clothes that were too fragile to hide her feminine shape (Chu,Chu and XJâs assistants, as well as her comrades). The medics too figured it out after reading her pulse.
The deputy generals probably respected her need for extra personal space - specially since she was their senior by rank. As for her schoolmates, it seemed that except for Chang, she wasnât really that close with the others beyond a professional capacity (knowing Cheng doesnât really count since he is bubbly with everyone).

Itâs probably a plot hole. Adding the hidden image sounds creative and works as a good twist but IRL itâs hard to believe unless the artist had complete access and time enough to do a near perfect forgery, things could be that simple.
The dadâs face in the artistâs version wasnât as sharp as the authentic version I guess but it could have been just due to lack of focus.
Judge could just ask for painting analysis to determine which paint is actually older but I guess putting dad…
The aging technic only works if the pieces are really old if Iâm not mistaken. The artis seems to be aware of her work. Perhaps theyâve met previously in one of his art exhibitions and he by chance may have seen her prototype sketch or whatever and got the idea from there? It is a bit of a plot hole ngl since if he saw the original canvas, the smart thing would have been to purchase her piece and destroy it before he released his version.
Hidden dadâs face - the artist is a fraud but he does have the skill so he must have figured out the exact colors/ paints needed to replicate her painting? The hidden image isnât exactly visible to the naked eye but the inverted color technic is still visible?
NGL it would have been nice to know how the defendantâs mother excused her daughterâs lack of presence during…
I guess it goes back to what Yun said? Between someone reknown (and who has a lot to loose) and an amateur, are you able to 100% trust the amateur without bias? Specially given the fact it was the renknown artist who sued her.
It doesnât help that KHM was also unintentionally roped into the case to begin with before knowing all the details so she wasnât really given enough time to make a 100% unbiased opinion?
She made a mistake that could have cost everything but I guess in a way this kind of humanizes her? Since I keep seeing comments on how strange it is that Yunâs team is always portrayed as the best/ supports only victims.
Ofcourse, i am also one among thousands of people who is enjoying this show right now,.........But,1. It is cliche…
Point 1 - Ep 2 - technically they started the case by defending the âbad guyâ. The original property damages claim was never cancelled, they net off the property damages against his compensation because while what happened to him was unfair, it doesnât erase the millions worth of damages he did.
Ep 4 - even after they found out the father they were defending was the real culprit they didnât drop the case. The justice served was covered by Yun personally and has no connection to Yullim.
Ep 5 - even KHM wasnât 100% convinced that the defendant was innocent. She took in the case as a favor to her sister but even Yun called her out for not being able to honestly defend their client.
Point 2 - honestly I canât imagine how anyone could get butterflies around that pompous jerk. Did they ever confirm if their relationship started from Love or family connections? Asking since I canât remember.đAs for the blushing, I guess itâs because all the rookies idolize Yun and the fact that she is allowed to invade his personal space and he trusts her just makes her flustered?
Even when the drama is ML-centric, it still ends up being all about feminism and womenâs empowerment, making…
Câmon this has nothing to do with feminism. Feminazi may be but not feminism since itâs obvious heâs the victim. He should move on for his own sake but it isnât an easy process (specially since heâs not completely out of the Exâs life thanks to their co-parenting agreement).
Her reasoning is understandable but if she is willing to bring in the âwe agreed to be child freeâ card she also should have been willing to keep him in the loop. At least when he initially asked if she was pregnant. She had no intention of ever letting him know which is what makes her case less sympathetic.
About Hash, we donât know if he co-parented the dog just to please the ex. Even if he had kids, if he truly loved dogs, Hash would still be treated like an honorary son.
How could she not even once, talk beforehand to the legally adult person she was representing that drew/sold the…
NGL it would have been nice to know how the defendantâs mother excused her daughterâs lack of presence during any of the interviews. Seems like a rookie move (lol then again she is in fact a rookie!) to not speak to the defendant at least once in advance.
