IMO yes. Usually I lose interest in C-dramas once the romance starts but with these two I'm truly into it 🤭

There are a few annoying side characters but their scenes are fortunately skippable if you are not interested in them since their story isn't really relevant to the MC.

A few have raised concern about their age gap but the page has been quite kind to the MC so far (you can't really hate on them since they behave maturely/ like 28+ year olds stuck in their young bodies).

The MC mindset is without question in their adult mindset so the whole "groomer" discussion isn't really possible. The ML also doesn't come off as a pervert since he doesn't hit on her until she's an adult and as soon as he realizes that she doesn't want to date anyone, he gives her space. He does keep trying to push the Ex away but it's understandable since he knows that if the FL gets together with the Ex, her life will be ruined in a way.

IKR?! It's basically like MMH without the BFF- Husband trauma and betrayal.

The audience. As of ep 15, she doesn't know.

The thing is she didn't really like the ML in their first life (in her mind he was a tyrant boss). The ML found out about this when she accidentally let it slip while she was drunk in ep 13 or 14 so even if he wanted to let her know that he's from the future too, he's scared she might leave him. Instead he works hard to stop himself from reverting to his first life's self by working on himself.

Ngl I'm curious to see how he will confess about his secret eventually.

You do raisr an interesting point. I'm not that familiar with costume dramas since I only started to watch them a lot this year and most of the old ones were watched via NF.

Yesss!!! This too! Lin is only close with Gao and his cousin while constantly ditches his parent. We also already how badly he was affected after Gao's death.🫠

It's interesting to see the differences in parental dynamics and how their influence affected their children.

You have the Ex's dad who is willing to do anything for his son even if his son can be a disappointment at times. As a result of this, even if the ex can be annoying at times, he doesn't do anything truly underhanded/ toxic to win the FL's approval and instead works with his dad to make the most out of his resources (even if his attempts are usually outdated/ misguided).

Then you have the Gus. The parents are supportive but clueless so both GXJ and her brother have to work hard on their own for most things while trying to make the most out of their parents' support.

And finally you have the frienemy who on her own right is a good student but is never appreciated by her abusive mum. As a result she just kept digging her own grave.

I do like the fact that the Ex seems to have given up on the FL now that it's obvious she's with Lin.
