I kind of understand that feelings could change if you spend too much time with someone but 2 years specially is too soon if he really was close friends with the ML.

She told him that she was visiting her parents. She probably found out within the first 1.5 months perhaps? So it wasn't that noticeable (specially if both were too busy with work at the time to notice a sudden change in the ex).

True but in Yun's frazzled POV, closeness trumps time 😅

Yun somehow is the ML of the drama as well as the SML of his own first marriage 🙈

I hope they wrap up this storyline properly though- proper closure since Hash is also involved.

Now that you mention it....ep 3 fiancé does feel like somebody who might impulsively stab someone if he loses his cool🙈

It's just life- they didn't cheat. Yun just is unable to move on from their past (which is totally understandable).

They don't deserve a tragic end though- may be just give Hash back to Yun.

TBF even if it was after 50 years, some would still feel betrayed if their close friend got together with their ex (reasoning will not matter)- he broke the bro code 😅

Yun needs to find something new too so he can move forward with his life. Right now in his POV, the ex took away his "unborn child"/ chance to even discuss, his Hash, and his friend🙈

Since we have the heart monitor still active they should be alive but I can't help wandering how will they tie up all these loose ends. They should have just let the Elavator crash and make both the FL and ML just keep calling their experience a "dream" 🥲

The censorship is pointless honestly. Even if it's just a "dream" there's probably at least 1 genius viewer who would prefer to self induce a coma just so they can enjoy another life just for abit afterall 😅

The problem is she never told him. Agreeing to not have kids mean that if things change, both parties should know.

Her aborting wouldn't have hurt him as much if she had kept him in the loop. He only found out because of the pregnancy test. Even then she kept lying about it.

By making it obvious that she had no intention of him ever finding out, she broke their trust.

No Trust= No marriage

Divorce was the right call. The fact that he has less "co-parenting" rights for Hash also suggests that he didn't try to be vindictive during the divorce proceedings (I mean a hot shot lawyer like him could have easily taken over 100% rights of Hash even if he wanted to after all).

People change.

There have been cases where young couples do abort when they are not ready or unable to handle parenting and then years later once they (same couple even at times) are in a more stable position to have kids later on. It just so happens she took the worst way possible to handle things.

She probably changed her mind. The friend said that they got together 2 years after the divorce. Since Hash also doesn't look thaaat different from their flashbacks, there's probably may be a 3-4 year time skip may be?

That's enough time for somebody to come to a more stable position/ change their view on things. She probably wasn't ready to be a mum back then but is more comfortable with it now. We also don't really know how Yun was like back then either. He's pretty invested in his cases so perhaps back then he could have been a workaholic too? He's present and loving but perhaps not enough to assure the wife if she was in a particularly fragile state with her own career/ life at the time? It's just a hunch though since he doesn't seem to be really interested in even becoming a partner at the law firm/ ambitious enough which suggests something might have happened in the past (i could be super wrong though!)🤔

They must have married pretty young if Yun's High School friend knew the Ex even long before that. But with time and specially having Hash around, perhaps Yun was more comfortable with the idea of kids eventually but the Ex was not (understandable really since at the end of the day her life and career would be affected way more than Yun's).

The Ex's mistake was not giving Yun a chance to voice his thoughts- most likely because she knew that he was warming up to the idea of kids and didn't want to go through all the drama of forcing him to choose the abortion?

It doesn't look like there was infidelity BUT understandably Yun feels betrayed since his friend got together with his ex- even if it was after 50 years, he'd probably still punch the friend🙈

Honestly at this point, she should just let Yun have Hash🥲

It's working though- she is the very embodiment of "annoying"

FL is embarrased since Lin overheard her admit that she really looks forward to spending time with him at CU.

She also wants to focus on her studies but at the moment she gets too flustered when Lin is around so she's trying to avoid him as much as possible.

Honestly I'm curious to know how they will overcome this hiccup.

The ML and FL can still try to salvage their dream life to a certain extent if they work together (and it's quite obvious that 1st life ML too liked her so it's not difficult to reconnect withough messing the story line too much) but the issue is with Gao's timeline mainly. Since he's dead, how would they fix it? It kind of looks like they are going to partner Gao with Lin's cousin/ sister too after all 🫠

Haha yes!!! I mean he's not flirting out right but it's kind of obvious now that he isn't "chill" as he seems.

Also they actually gave us a clue in ep 1 itself! The ML's feelings I mean. I rewatched the elevator scene- during the ML's rant he accidentally admits he knew exactly what she's been upto- and it's not because of her resume. He actually scolded her for giving up everything for her boyfriend 🙈

No wonder he still low key hates the SML🤭

ML's friend passed away (the body that was covered). ML and the FL are in a coma. I can't recall the episode number now but did you watch the episode that covered his POV? In it they showed him in a similar dark hospital setup as the FL.

Since they have medical equiplent attached (at least that's what i recall) it has to be a coma.

If they were already dead, it wouldn't be necessary to keep showing their bodies.

(Since China censors most timetravel dramas, the coma is used as a plot device to bypass censorship)

Haha you do have a point. I guess viewers are mostly frustrated with the brother's actions? Personally i've made my peace with him but it also is understandable why some are tired🙈

He's a good guy but keeps making questionable choices😅

Honestly it's almost frustrating how he looks sooo good in white shirts but they keep ruining them everytime.🙈
