ffs, legal dramas can go without romance too. why kdrama viewers are so fixated on romance as it is some sort…
It’s an interesting dynamic ngl. I guess Kdramas have made it part of their standard recipe to include romance so that they can get more viewers and most viewers are now used to it?
I personally can watch Jdramas with zero romance/ familiar connection without feeling bored at all but for some strange reason, I really need a “human touch” when it comes to Kdramas. It doesn’t have to be romance even necessarily - the main lead has to have some kind of human connection - at least be a single parent- or it just feels like something is missing. May be because Kdramas have 12+ episodes usually? I don’t know
yeah 2 eps every week (Episode 3 of 12 airing on August 9, 2025)
The episode timer on MDL corresponds with the KST airing time with the local network. Netflix (along with some of the online streaming sites) then releases the episode an hour or 2 after the KST countdown.
i didn't understand the first court case regarding her argument how it affected small business owners and bottom…
Being the least profitable/ most loss making division can have consequences. While I have no idea how the charges work, in order to maintain the line, the losses were probably covered through the consumers with higher usage rates/ cutting down labour cost?
The defendant’s claim that he was fighting evil corporations falls short since his actions hurt the community more than the gas company (the gas co. didn’t even really notice the discrepancy until the FL pointed it out)
is it more legal or romantic? I'd like a real legal like Suits, maybe.. more legal, and just a bit of love
It might have a similar vibe to Suits. So far the case of the day takes up most of the screen time but both the ML and FL have baggage in the love department (their own separate romantic/ family drama). They also have this enemies to lovers (or at the very least comrades) thrope vibe.
thankgod the dog is alive and I'm happy FL got rid of that asshle bf. Everyone has right to marry someone who…
Ngl I was so glad to see Hash too! Totally thought that he and the s/o passed away from an accident the way they were introduced at the end of ep1.
Super cute though to see the super stoic ML cry over his beloved pooch (considering the fact he does get to meet him at least weekly instead of never the way it was implied)
If they add romance, I’ll drop it. Pls don’t force it🫂
They both have emotional baggage that revolve around love so you never know. Given how majority of the screen time for both ep 1 and 2 were dedicated to the cases, if they do add romance, it’ll probably be just a side story but not a priority?
I don’t mind a flawed character, but I find the male lead too problematic as nobody held him accountable for…
The kid’s not exactly a saint though is she? She lied to her teacher that she hooked up with him when all he did was support her emotionally. I mean he never gave her false promises nor even allowed her to drink alcoho. He certainly doesn’t deserve being at risk of being labeled as a statutory rapist just because some HS Student has issues with her parents (if it was any other teacher, you know they would have thrown him to jail even though it was a false claim).
Kauru shouldn’t have accepted her but after watching episode 2 it’s clear he has absolutely no control of his life in the host club (nor does he have any other career options that could help him support his sick bro/ leach mother).
The girl’s parents and whoever is in charge of the management of the Host club are more responsible.
can someone please explain i am confused is moon baek the new rookie who just came in or what ?
Moon Baek is a random civillian who forces himself into the case with the promise of sharing details since he too received a misterious package....or at least that's how it starts.
Seems like a trend with kdramas to start well and going downhill afterwards. Also whats with those 1 vs 10 fights…
Ngl the constant 1 vs. 10 thugs thrope was a bit much after sometime. I guess they were banking on the fact that Lee Do used to be a mercenary or elite military officer would have more skills than a random thug?
Kim Youngkwang as Moon Baek really showcasing his talents in acting. He can do grandiose acting but he's also…
NGL I just love the way how he lulls you into a false sense of comfort, only to stab you in the back when you lease expect it. It’s like you haven’t learned anything from his other drama “Somebody”!
I just love how Trigger manages to question even the viewers’ moral ethics. Yes, guns are never the answer….but at the same time, why was it so difficult for the bullies to leave the kids and nurse alone? Why were people going out of their way to make the “weaker” lives unbearable and still manage to escape consequences for the most part?
Trigger makes you wander - what would you do if you are faced with the same dilemma? Would you pull the trigger or stand tall and let justice prevail?

Honestly this drama is a good example of "less is more". ZLH may have had limited screentime but he truly shined during his scenes, making his character one of the most memorable. Even here on MDL, majority of the comments cover either JQX's suffering or rashness.
Hey do you know what's the name of the OST that's played during YT and JQX's Hong Kong initial dating montage?…
It must have been so uncomfortable for you. Honestly, if they didn't drag it for so long, their worries would have been credible but since quite a lot of users have spoken against them, it's quite clear that they have ill intentions-specially since they sound too aggressive 🙈

The new rookie is another guy.
Loved ep 1 🤭
