Think it's mostly because her "worlds" don't really collide? Her schoolmates are from a generation that don't really care about Shamans. The ML is the only exception since he has no choice. So it's not that nobody recognizes her, they just don't expect it/ won't really look at her hard enough.

(ML for instance is always too distracted/ mad at her when she's a sharman to really LOOK at her face/ listen to what she says for instance)

I mean while they didn't really use a label to define their relationship at the end of the series, Sejin and Mire will definitely get together (if they haven't already like it was implied by her text to Miji).

Their love is very subtle so unlike with Miji & Hosu where they clearly asked eachother out and defined their connection, Mire & Sejin just "know" where they stand (sorry can't think of a better way to say it).

While usually this kind of ambiguity/ lack of communication is bad, for Sejin & Mire it works (at least for now). They'll definitely declare their love verbally eventually but for the time being until Mire is more comfortable with the change, they will silently acknowledge eachother- speak from their eyes and actions instead 🙈

Besides, Sejin has already made it EXTREMELY obvious that he likes her so if Mire wasn't interested, she would definitely squash those feelings long before he left to the US🤭

Is the vibe more close to stereotypical Thai BLs (if you get what i mean) or Taiwanese (Kiseki Dear to me/ Unknown/ We Best Love type)?

I tried to watch ep 1 last night but it felt a bit "off" from what I expected from a C-bl. Just wanted to know if it gets better🙈

That's the thing though. Mire was able to find peace so she was able to let go of KFMC and their vile treatment towards her completely behind once she did her part. Even to the point where she wasn't even embarrased about coming back to the same building as a farmer (no offence to farmers but the team probably would have judged her for going for a "less" prestigious role).

They got together/ are enjoying the next phase of their "partnership"- it was confirmed by Miji

(Mire stood her up and went "home" since she met somebody- unless there was something special between them, Mire had no reason to drive hours back home when she could have easily caught up with Sejin in Seoul since she anyway was originally planning to stay at Miji's anyway)

Both dramas are amazing in my opinion (i'm a slice of life genre junky so both were my type🙈).

WLGYT is more family oriented and covers generations in a more indepth approach compared to OUS since OUS's priority is more about healing yourself, sisters, and being resiliant.

I agree OUS too focussed on breaking free from genarational trauma but with WLGYT, since the drama spent half the series going through the mum's life as well as the daughter's life in detail, it just hits differently.

Both will leave you feeling devastated and healed anyway🫠♥️🥲. WLGYT can be more harsh at times though since the death count is high as it's a drama that covers life from birth to death in some sort of sense whereas OUS mostly focuses on the present.

PBY did both Miji and Mirae's roles. They did use a body double actress to shoot the scenes where both twins had to be in the same screen. The rest is just editing magic.😊

TMAI- I joined MDL just for that reason...when you come across amazing dramas like this, you really need an outlet to let it all out 🙈

IMO, since Miji was forced to leave the room back in the day, she never really got to truly break free from her chains.

She needed a powerful reminder that she too can make a difference. Rosa was living proof of it.

If Miji gave up on her, Rosa wouldn't have told her about her story which turned out to be the key they needed to stop the KFMC case and more importantly it was because Miji was able to gain Rosa's trust, Rosa finally was able to get back her identity as SW again as well as let go of her guilt. Sure, they could have shorten Rosa's origin story but then the story might not have been able to show just how grave her situation was🙈

I think the doctor was focussing on the "hearing" side only at that point. Bringing up Sing Language when Hosu was already anxious might have had a negative reaction (since it's obvious that Hosu would already know what his options are). Hosu just needed something to make him feel less crappy about his hearing loss - a placebo of sorts even if he didn't like using hearing aids.
