So this manipulating ratings is not NEW, I have checked that drama page After Effect still there.
Sadly apologising for KTL's issue can't really backfire on the studio/ broadcasting team since it was only stereotyping one ethnicity which is extremely wrong but not as bad in comparison to this fiasco π«
WTPR on the other hand's is too delicate. MBC is connected with the South Korean government right? I t's too political.
It's a waste of time trying to reason with the user.
But hey- they did give a good reason why there is no point of MBC making a statement at this pointπ«
You kept telling the subs were at fault/ Netflix is in charge of subs and they messed up (as always) but if they still choose to believe just because one side is more vocal, that's on them π€·ββοΈπ
There are links too. There's the news Banner too. People see what they want to see i guess.
They do set the war zone thing up earlier but in throw away lines that are easy to miss and forget with everything…
The focal point was that SE was back as a negotiator (since in the previous scene they didn't reveal what his future plans were) but because of the name choice of the countries, this was missed.
Honestly they should have just sticked with Argan itself.
Honestly at this point, best find somebody you can trust and knows the language to get the exact context.
Netflix is notorious for simplifying/ messing translations anyway. And from the drama's side, they could have been more careful with how they name countries (regardless of what their intesions were).
I don't know about the comments but some post are not always allowed for us int'l viewers to see u have to use…
It's a weird algorithm. Some videos like bts work fine but pre-releases never worked for me due to country restrictions (it's been the same since before WTPR was released) π€·ββοΈ
As a whole I really liked this show. However I didn't like some parts of episodes 11&12 cos I thought it was a…
The Argan arc wasn't executed well. It should have had an episode of it's own instead of squeezing it into 20 mins or so worth of content, so a lot of context as well as "action" sequences lost meaning. The arc wasn't as romanticized in the novel (at least until really reunited) and HJ's presense and hostage situation there wasn't so simplified either.
SE does disappear in the novel too but it was handled better for the most part in the novel since HJ wasn't left hanging in Limbo (SE faked his death since he had to get rid of his false identity but shortly before his "death', he shared a criptic emotional farewell message with HJ enough for her to understand that she wasn't abandoned which helped her cope when she thought he was dead and when she started to suspect that he didn't die)
1. The ML leans more towards tsundere than a simp upto a certain point. His actions are understandable once you…
When may I ask?
Liking her does not mean he has any intension of pursuiting her.
They do meet up twice but neither time did the SML do anything remotely suggestive toward her. He did antoganize SE but that was mostly because he found SE's intensions towards Heeju suspicious (since SE is a married man but SML doesn't know that HJ is his wife).
I do admit, during the orphanage scene with the nun, he had this sad look when he spoke of his first love but you can be sad and not pursuit someone right? It's more like he was sad for what never happened/ could never happen and not worth pursuiting.
(It's possible he may have known that she was married but not to who since even her colleagues knew she was married)
the discussion has no value. atp idc wether you're a fan of this drama or the troll outsiders, if you don't bring…
Based on majority of the interactions, I'm guessing those honestly cared are not the ones spamming the page. Yesterday the concerns were very coherent and clear. You can actually feel their pain (both fans as well as concerned viewers).

Hey sorry! I missed your previous comment!
Ngl i don't really follow political announcements much so my awareness is quite limited.
What you said does make sense but if I'm not mistaken, in WTPR's universe, the sign inteprettor was part of the presidential office's suggested initiatives even before the first kidnapping. So they might have always planned to do this extra service? (guessing it was a publicity tool based on how the higher up reacted when SE announced that he will be learning sign language too).
I did see this reel last month related to the SK government where the spokesperson and sign intepretor were together in one platform (not sure what the context behind it) so this might be a South Korean thing depending on the circumstance?
Ironically just like most political issues in general, people fixate on the wrong thing and attack eachother while the real culprits as usual will get away scot free.
Netflix will probably find some loop hole by playing the ambiguous card and MBC will keep quiet for as long as they can since as a public network, they can't really address the issue without taking a solid stance (with their current political issues, I highly doubt a major public network will risk everything for the sake of one drama).
Hopefully future dramas will not try to bring in sensitive topics unless they are able to back them (even if their intensions are good or bad) and hopefully viewers too would do their research better (not pointing fingers but some of the comments below are too vile to be actually concerned).
Even in here there were some users openly spreading hate on her.

Guess we'll just have to use our imagination and assume that the missing scenes did happen off-screen π

A few intepretations from Koreans.

They are not veirifed accounts and thanks to anonymity, users can say whatever they want.
Does MDL verify their articles or is it free for all like with the reviews?
It's always good to ask for links may be to confirm what they say?

(Thinking back, SE too made some rash decisions that could have been handled wayy better so guess it's a family trait)
