Exactly! After watching this weeks’ episodes, this issue truly stands out. I loved how XG handled Lin’s misunderstanding from 2011 so gracefully.

She didn’t blindly trust her father but at the same time she was smart enough to see that her father truly believed what he was saying. So rather than calling him out for being a liar she found out the true issue in hand and called him out for the real reason. If she behaved like ZX and simply called her father a liar (or even accused Lin for targeting her for revenge), things could have gotten really bad.

Exactly! I don’t even blame Rong since it doesn’t really matter even if Rong genuinely thought that XG set her up (just because that’s the kind of thing Rong would have done) but it’s ZX’s responsibility to notice the discrepancy specially after XG kept insisting she didn’t do it.

One thing I love about the drama is how we keep getting scenes where XG (or even other people) are put into similar situations as ZX but they react in a way that prove why ZX doesn’t deserve too much pity (you’ll come across these scenes soon so I won’t spoil them for you 🙊)

Considering how heavily they are promoting local tourism in the drama when none of the characters are connected to the travel industry, I highly doubt they would have wanted to spend their precious budget on the European tour scenes🙊

It’s also possible that perhaps they got a subsidy from the government to do the stunning local location shoots. They did use the green screen once for the skii arc too but I’m guessing that’s probably due to a seasonal/ safety concern.

If you are watching on Netflix, probably by this Friday or the weekend depending on how they will split the episode schedule . If it’s via Tencent, the express package will be available on the 6th.

After seeing how easily Cdramas can get shelved/ have scenes censored over the most ridiculous things, a little propaganda should be fine I guess if it protects the drama (lol even I am constantly surprised how patient I am with Cdramas compared to other countries’)🙈.

Based on how much the drama has invested on the PV side plot and local tourism, I’m guessing they must have got some kind of government subsidy/ sponsorship? Since the plot itself doesn’t really cover any sensitive plots that could potentially shelve it.

NGL when Lin said that he wanted XG to be his blazing sun (instead of simply lighting up) and test every part of him, things got a little 🤭🤭 for a minute there 😂

Inferiority complex. He wanted to be able to be an equal in their relationship in terms of finance and status since XG is practically a RICH rich Corporate Princess that can even scare grown men whereas ZX is from an ordinary family that even had trouble paying his mum’s expensive medical bills without depending on XG’s generosity. That’s why he’s been working so intensely. To prove that he is worthy of her.

Once things began to look promising for him, he wanted to reconcile with XG and get together with her after they graduated but XG’s cousin’s house maid unintentionally told him she went to study abroad, so he gave up on chasing after her immediately since he thought he had years (in reality XG only was away for 2 months).

His inability to trust XG, truly understand her, and lack of perseverance is what caused his downfall.

True. In a way this honestly makes things look even worse for ZX. All he had to do was to sternly tell her to back off from the beginning. That’s it. But he didn’t so he lost everything. 🫠

I really hope we don’t see her again. There’s nothing she can really add even since she doesn’t really know anything about XG that could help the petty Shengs🤔

It’s his inferiority complex. Eventhough he has every right to be the heir if we follow tradition, it’s clear that everybody thinks Lin is more suitable since he is the most capable between the two. Even the grandfather has a soft spot for Lin so the cousin is jealous.

That wasn’t Rong. It’s Chris from ZX’s new Investment division. Even I made the same mistake and was wondering why Rong was pretending to not recognize XG at the ski store.

ZX cut ties with Rong after Boss’s wedding so I don’t think we will see her again at least until things with the Shengs get messy (she is Lin’s cousin’s secretary)

Based on what the novel readers have said, the novel covers 10 years. So we’ll probably see a few time skips once their relationship becomes solid.

Based on the teasers released, my guess is that we will see their wedding and there’s also footage of them together with a daughter who looked like she was around 3-4 years old. There’s also more for them to cover on the progress of the PV industry as well seeing as they’ve spent so much time developing on this side plot. They will also probably include scenes from XG’s succession since her being the heiress to her parents’ company has been emphasized so many times. We’ll also learn more about Lin’s future. All these can be spread across 10-15 years.

TMAI!😂 The fact that for the first time ever XG only had eyes for Lin and didn’t even notice him at the hospital (or even ask if HE was ok) is irrelevant 🤦‍♀️

It will probably have - perhaps after ep 32? At least that’s what I’ve noticed with most of the recent dramas. The only thing is this option will only be available with Tencent. Netflix will follow the official schedule as usual.
