Those shoes looks horrible on her in episode 7. Does the ML have some kind of face recognition issue that he can’t…
He recognized her from the second game onwards - he can't break character during the game so he has to llay along with whatever she throws at him :)
Not sure if you are up to date yet but we had an episode recently (think it was either 13-14), where he's mad at her in real life and uses his NPC character to jint his ire 🙈
I'm certain that the report is a trap laid out by Yu. I think that's why he's secretly working with the supplier…
I certainly hope so too! It's so sneaky and would explain why Yu's been so patient with everything at the moment. He's even holding back from confronting Pei's behaviour towards Hu Xiu which is something he'd normally wouldn't be so quiet about🙊
But....Bestie needs a break from red flags🙈She's going to have a major case of trust issues once her husband…
The SML is really interesting ngl. He reminds me of the SML from Love is Sweet but the only difference is that his cockyness stems from ignorance. His father has molded him quite well to suit his manipulative needs but looks like Hu Xiu will probably "reset" him 🤭
When the SML met her friend initially I kind of liked the idea of them together (they both have this aura of knowing what they want/ willing to fight for it) but now I kind of feel bad for her 🙈

Honestly after seeing so many dramas promote early marriage, it's rather refreshing how the drama low key made them a cautionary tale. The husband is way too clueless for the friend. I hope they don't drag their story for too long- it's too much of a wreck already 😅
I consider Pei as a red flag because while he seems respectful enough to women, there is lack of sincereity in his actions. He isn't above taking advantage of the mother and even the FL to hurt the ML. Once he figures out her dad's connection to the stadium accident, I guess we'll see his true colours.🙈 It does seem like he is ignorant about the truth behind the stadium accident thoughso hopefully they'll give him a proper "redemption" arc?
Okay so… that financial report everyone’s been waiting for? Yeah, it’s way too fishy.Something is off off.I…
I'm certain that the report is a trap laid out by Yu. I think that's why he's secretly working with the supplier Xui found. He just needs access to the statements or some kind of proof that the company isn't as perfect as they want the public to believe. Or perhaps use this to plant a seed of doubt in Mr Xie (the project owner's mind) so when Yu brings up the Stadium case again, it won't be as impossible to get support?
Man… I can’t stand his mother. She’s so weird, weak, and honestly annoying. Like—your son sends you gifts…
Strangely enough I find her even more abhorrent than the mum from The First Frost at times. She keeps apologizing to Yu but never really actually does anything that show her remore or support. Can her lack of awareness really be called ignorant at this point?
Okay hear me out—I have a theory… and yeah, it’s a little crazy 😭It really feels like they’re actively…
But....Bestie needs a break from red flags🙈
She's going to have a major case of trust issues once her husband is through with her. She needs someone who could ease her mind- not the highly manipulative and calculating Peis.🙈
dropped it around ep 20. just want to know what happens with the king and Zigu (concubine Yan)?
So essentially you dropped it mid way to “save yourself” right? Not because the writer lost the plot and just kept adding nonsense?
I am in ep 11 atm and so far I am enjoying it despite knowing how it will end- just curious because the reviews are pretty mixed and most of the complaints are from post ep 4 onwards 🙈

Why do I think it's mls mom that tricked his father into signing the contract of the gym
Could it be a case of history repeating itself?
I mean just like how Pei will inevitably fall for Xui for all the wrong reasons, perhaps his father too manipulated Yu's mum into marrying him?
The company is definitely shady so they may have used Yu's father as a scapegoat. I'm almost certain it wasn'f a suicide too😅 Considering the pressure the Qins had from the public and how weak willed the mum seems, it wouldn't be that difficult for her to trust her late husband's "extremely understanding" business partner right? Her terrible parenting is typical Cdrama second marriage behavior 🥲
(Was it confirmed that Yu's father and Pei's father were friends?)
Hmm I’m finding it hard to connect with the story of the bestie and husband. It seems so tonally different and…
Estranged relationships and cheating is one of the themes of the drama so I have a feeling that the second couple is basically giving us a live action version of how even a once strong relationship can implode?
Theme= ML's family/ FL's relationship with her ex fiancè/ the pseudo cheating rumor from the game (video leak)
What I don’t understand is why would you blame him for what happened with his father? He was a very little boy…
Personally I don’t think Xui would blame Yu but her father is a different matter. He’s even against her being an architect so we know that he still hasn’t healed from his traumatic experience. After today’s episodes it makes more sense (he might feel responsible for his friend’s death since he was the who recruited him). So finding out that his daughter is even breathing the same air as the son of one of the people he hates the most will definitely push him off the edge, forcing Xui to take a breather at the very least until she can figure things out.
From the reviews from trusted and unbiased reviewers, I can definitely say that 8.7 is a crowd rating..It's all…
I feel it’s more on how the drama exceeded viewers expectations on the couple. Regardless of the side plots, the MC isn’t the stereotypical Rich CEO/ poor damsel in distress. The fact that there were barely any unnecessary misunderstandings/ breakups made their story interesting compared to some of the recent exhausting modern romcom tropey dramas.
Okay question how equal and reciprocal is the romance here? I see comparisons to Best Thing and that wasn't even…
It’s more equal compared to recent dramas if you consider the FL’s pov and the circumstances she met the ML (and his mindset of her/ his behavior when they initially met). It would be rather strange if she actually put in the effort to pursuit him before she found out his interest seeing as the ML’s actions were pretty hot and cold at the beginning and she was still recovering from a failed (and rather traumatic) past crush when she first met him. But from the moment they decided to start fresh and be friends, she’s been considerate and equal with her actions compared to most FLs I’ve seen recently. Even protective. Best part is she doesn’t rely on him to “save” her.
Probably being a workaholic might be the thing that splits them. The wife has mentioned several times how she…
TMAI! Her friend is so into supporting everybody around her. It's sad that the one person who should be there for her is always MIA 🫠
Haha ngl the friend is a better fit but I can't imagine how the drama can incorporate it. Even if they divorce, it's too soon for something new to start 🙈
what's going on with the Fl's bestie husband, He doesn't seem like someone who will cheat on his wife, And if…
Is it possible that towards the beginning of their relationship during college, the husband could have had a brief side fling with the junior? His reactions seem rather strange.🙈
Wassup with the Hate against that guy for no reason. I understand hating him if he did something wrong but wassup…
Ngl I was expecting him to be the worst when I saw the comments about him before starting the drama but now I feel there's a little overexaggeration involved. Even with the slap, the guy barely had a second to react since the FL already pounced on the 💩. With all the commotion, what can he do? He even took his wife's side and said that he didn't care about the investment opportunity and took care of her needs 🙈
I do admit the guy's headed towards a potentially dark path if he doesn't try to compromise with his wife/ his reactions when the junior is mentioned feel strange (specially considering how cheating as a subject has come up twice now in the drama), but I guess we need to be a bit more patient?

Probably being a workaholic might be the thing that splits them. The wife has mentioned several times how she is happy with the way things are now/ if he wants to focus on his start up, to quit his full time job. The husband repeatedly ignores her suggestions but doesn't really take any active role in correcting his mistakes (particularly the fact that he really is unreliable).
At the same time, both are hiding crucial secrets from eachother. The fact that they keep emphasising how the couple married when they were really young kind of implies that there is a chance their marriage will implode.
He probably won't cheat but will most likely get tangled up in a scandel/ cheating misunderstanding?
