The "stalking" technically started after DH accused him of taking pictures and tampering with the electricity so my impression was that the Ex was purposely visiting him to taunt him. Since he wants DH to do the right thing.

Yes, I don't think they will get back together again either. But they need to get closure. Their resentment is unhealthy at this point. DH keeps accusing the Ex based on logic when there's no real evidence and the ex's actions just make things worse.

It's good exposure too- while i've heard of her previous work, the first time I saw her was on Wedding impossible.

The step siblings hating DH and JH makes sense honestly. They were kids too when their mum "abandoned" them to start a new family. After no contact for around 10-11 years, they find out their mum died and the reason was because JiHan had told the reporter how to contact his mum.

It may seem irrational, but to them it makes sense.
The step brother isn't really evil since he's just greedy and scheming. In fact it kind of looks like he no longer really remembers why exactly he hates the brothers but hates them out of habit.

The sister - as she is the younger of the 2 i don't think the issue is her legitimacy. Since the grandfather has ultimate control and doesn't sugar coat things, i highly doubt he would have let her stay if she wasn't his granddaughter. She's just too calculating and dangerous to have control of the Group. You can't manage a huge group like LJ by only focussing on your interest.

About JH refusing to marry CEO Yoo- by this point he has already given up on the company which is why he was able to refuse without worrying about the consequences (he let go of his hopes for the company the moment he gave his blessing to DH and AJ. Finding out that DH was gay, cemented it). AJ was the main reason to refuse but even if AJ wasn't in the picture, control over the company was no longer a priority.


Additionally, initially when Yoo confessed to JH, she didn't mention about the negotiation she had with the grandfather about their marriage. Since JH was trying to forget about AJ at the time, he honestly said that he doesn't have feelings for her but he also was willing to try to "work" it out. He was actually blindsided by the impending marriage proposal.

His character development starts from the end of ep 10 on wards. The pity party is over and now DH is finally going to be brave and stand up for himself and protect JH and AJ.

I hope so too...instead of being forced, I hope that JH made the suggestion in the first place. But it's odd that the grandfather was in the right hall - waiting for Do Han to show up.

Competency wise - JH is the most suitable

Lack of Scandals wise- until ep 9, JH was again the strongest bet since now we know that the grandfather knew about DH's secret all along.

Connections wise - JH has the strongest connection with CEO Yoo's company

Reputation wise- within the company, JH is well known as a hard working employee

So why is the grandfather hanging on to DH so desperately?
It's almost as if the grandfather is in this delusional state where he believes that he can get rid of the "Gay problem" by making DH work for corporate and marry anybody as long as she's female🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Also I'm almost certain it was the grandfather who beat up the ex in the flashback. No wonder the ex is so disgusted by everything🙊🙊🙊

The grandfather already pretty much lost any sentiment he has for JH after JH refused to denie his feelings for AJ and lie to the press.

For whatever reason the grandfather is hell bent on making Do Han specifically the heir. JH is nothing more than a pawn he can sacrifice at this point to ensure that DH's name isn't dragged because of the scandal (plus the grandfather needs to stop DH from coming out)

The grandfather is calculating and shrewd so hurting JH's feelings is not going to be a priority at the moment in the grandfather's POV.

Exactly! You can't really expect him to be a complete saint after the way he was treated all his life.

Hell in a way he is far more kinder than he should be rly - he endures everything without complaining. From the abuse from his step family, the fact thathis Grandfather treats him like he is invisible, to giving up even the hope of running the company himself (considering he is the most qualified too), originally letting go of AJ, and enduring DH's constant silence.

And he is so alone compared to the others- outside work and his family, he doesn't even seem to have any other friends (there is ceo yoo but until recently he couldn't truly be himself since he needed to be on her goodside for the sake of his plan).

It's really complicated because eventhough JH knows that DH is gay, as far as he knows, the wedding is real and his brother is taking advantage of "innocent" AJ. From AJ's side, at worst she will be only breaking her contract with Do Han, but at the same time she knows that JH believes that the marriage is real.

So objectively speaking they are not cheating but because JH is unaware of the contract, at least in his POV it is cheating. That's part of the reason he was so hurt after finding out the truth.

And people still ask why JH is willing to sacrifice everything for AJ? 🤦‍♀️ She literally was the first person to truly see him and fight for him.- obviously he is going to fall for her.

(The CEO also is protective of him but she's more subtle with her actions so don't think JH is aware of her help)

I think the problem here is that both brothers love eachother and have eachother's best interest at heart but they never really listen to what the other has to say. They are wrapped in their own pitiful world that they don't see the bigger picture or the support they actually have (for instance, it's clear AJ and CEO Yoo are both protective of the brothers regardless of their personal feelings but DH is constantly surprised when they do something nice).

But then again it's understandable. In JH's case, imagine growing up in such a toxic environment where you are hated (and you believe you deserve the hate)- you are bound to end up being selfish since there's nobody to depend on.

As unfair as it sounds, DH's secret can cause a lot of chaos not just to him but his family too- and he's already lost his parents because of unwanted publicity in the past. So it's understandable why he is scared. He could have handled it better but we can't really judge him.

It's also possible that the grandfather asked JH to takeover the presscon and the blame since it looks like the grandfather already knows DH's secret and has been actively working in the past to make sure it stays a secret

It's not really rushed writing since the webtoon it's based on is complete.

The whole point is ever since JH was a child, he was always ignored. The only person in his life was Do Han (which is why he always calls his brother "his life").

Ever since he met AJ, she's been always there for him, even when she shouldn't. She's the first person who fought for him despite all the crap he put her through.

So how can he resist her? He fell HARD for her.
And he isn't being delusional when he said that he will give up everything. The grandfather already acknowledged him but after all that waiting and hoping, his victory didn't taste as sweet as he thought.

So JH actually knows that AJ is far more worthy than his unappreciative family. The only thing he probably was sad about was losing his brother. 🙊

It's good! Personally i enjoy the messy bits in this series compared to most other similar shows.

The main couple is chaotic and the story is fresh too compared to alot of shows that were released recently.

And they keep making fun of romcom clichés so that's a bonus.

The only thing is you have to watch the series with an open mind and embrace the chaos- enjoy the journey and do not take it too serious 😉
