It's because of all the secrets...Do Han is trying too hard to make AJ feel like the contract marriage is the right thing to do eventhough he can see that she is uncomfortable about it.
Meanwhile AJ is busy trying to fight her feelings for JH and hates herself for betraying DH's trust.
Once they clear all these issues, they'll be close again since it's obvious they truly care about eachother. Hopefully we will see this in ep 11.

JH/AJ's scandal will probably get surpassed by whatever the grandfather is hiding anyway so their situation is temporary. The sister is done pleasing the grandfather so if it's damaging enough to oust the grandfather from the company, she will probably reveal it.
If the grandfather's secret is connected with abusing power or he was involved in the mother's death, once DH reveals his side of the story, there might be some public sympathy towards all 3 of them as it's clear they didn't lie because it was fun. (I am probably wrong here but it doesn't hurt to be delusional eh? 😅)

But to be fair, he's been harrased all his life along with JH by reporters and even lost his parents because of it. His secret can also negatively impact the company and his family so it's understandable why he is the way he is. The one time he tried to come out, his ex got hurt coincidentally (now we know it wasn't a coincidence if the hint from ep 10 was any indication) so it is terrifying in a way.
But I guess things will change now since Do Han can see just how far things have gone. Hopefully he will be able to be push forward this time.

There seems to be a misunderstanding on what happened 5 years ago and present day between the ex and DH since the ex keeps accusing DH of crossing the line but DH has no idea. Ep 9 was insightful when it comes to their relationship/ dynamic.
They might not get back together but there is still room for reconciliation.

Totally agree with you. Once JH digests the situation he will be ok. It's just a momentary lapse because of his traumatic upbringing.
As for CEO Yoo, I feel like they might try to make her jealous at first but the thing that I like about her is that she is very rational. All her arguements are based on facts and not her personal emotions. So there's still hope that she might eventually see the light since she truly cares about both brothers. She almost has this "mama bear" kind of reaction when the brothers names are mentioned.
