Probably another safe house or she no longer needs to meet the lawyers anymore (since that was her main reason…
No where to go as in a place private where she won’t get recognized. Since she has to frequently meet with the lawyers (and perhaps other parties), if the chairman found out she was upto something, he might have found a way to block their plans.
Now that they have found a resolution (JH found evidence last week for example+ ep 14 preview), the mother can stay anywhere she wants again. She’s probably setup at a hotel like JH originally planned. (We might get more information tomorrow as well).
SML now doesn’t care about FL just becoz she doesn’t have feelings for him. What a selfish jerk when ML told…
To be fair SU didn’t know that JH had concrete evidence that can help clear her name before JH told him clearly. He just thought that JH was being a clingy entitled ex (and I’m almost certain Da Rim probably already told him not to share her location).
Wait, if Da Rim's mom sold the house, where did Ji Hyeok's mom go??
Probably another safe house or she no longer needs to meet the lawyers anymore (since that was her main reason to stay away) -seems like it’s the latter based on ep 14’s preview.
Oh wait, at the beginning of ep 13, the mum specifically said that JH’s confession to DR’s mum was the perfect going away gift or something like that. So she anyway left long before the scandal.
She is excellent here. She is portraying a charming, but inexperienced person, who learned how to be a hard worker…
I don’t think I’ve watched any Asian dramas based in the desert.🤔 The Mongolian steppes look so breathtaking so I can see why you love it!❤️
The Long Ballad - ooh I wanted to check this out a while back but some of the comments made me pause (this was years ago before I found my groove this year with Historical Cdramas). Will check it out! Does it have a satisfactory ending? I saw “war” as one of the main tags so I hope not too many beloved characters get 💀🙈
Thanks for the heads up on Everlasting Longing-I’ll checkout the fan edits later this week since I’m currently watching “Hotelier” (yes, i couldn’t resist my curiosity)🤭
Are there any new Cdramas out that are worth trying?
“Hotelier” surprisingly doesn’t feel dated eventhough it’s from 2001 - aside from the technology of course. The cast is mature for the most part so you don’t have unnecessary juvenile melodrama from the Main cast as of ep 10 at least (compared to modern dramas). The romance is less than what the fan edits promised though since it’s a side plot. More focused on life in a hotel that’s at risk of being acquired a.k.a Hospital Playlist - hotel edition 😉
Edit: I spoke too soon- the melodrama starts after ep 11 🤣
After all the doom and gloom the comments section has been suffering since last week’s preview, personally I feel at least this time, the reason behind is more understandable.
You can’t call Da Rim stupid when she has absolutely no idea that Ji Hye is a snake. Ordinary people do not imagine that family can go this low just for a company seat. Besides, in public JiHye had been quite nice to her so far so she had no reason to expect anything underhanded from her.
Even if it is a thrope, the justification is fair enough. Then again when was the last time K-romcoms were thrope free eh?
Came here to see comments if today's episode is worth watching. Coz I don't wanna see them cry or breakup
You can watch both episodes together. Ep 13’s preview kind of covered the highlights. It ends in a positive note though- JH is ready for the kill and has his heart in tact (if you get what I mean) so I feel you might enjoy it more if you watch them together :)
Yes totally agree. Many people here continued to defend her actions because “she was desperate because she had…
Exactly. I feel there's no real point of getting mad at Da Rim for initiating the lie simply because you personally think lieing is wrong and unforgivable since the drama never tried to trick the audience to expect anything else. The MDL plot summary clearly says that Da Rim lied about her marrital status to get the job. So we always had the choice to decide if we wanted to watch a drama that would revolve around a complicated lie. Alternatively, if the audience was also supposed to find out that she was lying only in ep 9 along with Ji Hyeuk, it would have been more acceptable to get so mad at her because she lied to the audience as well.
We can feel frustrated with Da Rim for taking so long to reveal the truth but there's no point getting mad at her for initiating the lie just because you strongly hate liars and cannot tollerate it no matter why they lied. 🙈
(Honestly the MDL plot summary makes Da Rim's first kiss sound so much worse than it actually is since she kissed him before she joined the company so if anything the plot summary promised something even more messy than it actually is).
She is excellent here. She is portraying a charming, but inexperienced person, who learned how to be a hard worker…
Ngl whatsapp is the bane of my existence 🤣 I hate it and kiiinda like it 🙈
CIL was so good! Quite unique- but not for everybody🥲 I watched it along with "Somebody" (ML was a sadistic psychopath in it) so the overall experience was...interesting🙊
Haru is available on youtube if you want to watch it!

Yep, it just isn't worth going throigh so much just to have a tragic ending 🙈
Haha same here. I've relegated myself into re-reading my favourite chapters. The ladt time I actually read an entire book was when the cyclone hit us recently- that too was because there was nothing else to do😅

That sounds nice honestly. Not to be distracted by endless reels and other posts. My own accounts are practically dead since I stopped posting years ago. These days I mostly use them for messaging/ keeping up with the current events (I’m abit of an hermit so I tend to miss things). How do you keep in touch with your old friends/ etc (i know kind of intrusive but kind of curious since I’m notorious for losing touch by accident)🙈
Lavender Haze is the dreamy feeling of “falling in love” - it’s like everything becomes rosy and hopeful? There’s a kdrama that kind of simulates this - “Call it love” starring Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang.
Older Jdramas are some of the best dramas out there- they just feel so nostalgic and yet so relatable. Have you watched Haru? It’s from the 1990s - quite similar to Tom Hanks’s “You’ve got mail” but with an interesting twist since 90% of the movie is based on chat format with barely any actual dialogue.

Ohhh I didn’t realize that he was the ML from Go Ahead until you mentioned it 🙈 Yes, that’s the one. Even I added it to my list because of ZJM (for a VERY short second I actually thought it was yet another drama of hers with ZLH 🙈).
I haven’t watched Go Ahead - there’s just too many spoilers out there that you can watch the entire drama through fan edits. Is he really that bad?😅

Seriously?! I can’t seem to escape weddings 😂 Then again, I avoid tragedies specially with Cdramas (wayyy too many episodes to go through eventual heartbreak) so probably why😅
Webtoons have their own genres too but most romance/ melo stories tend to follow the same formula Kdramas follow lately so it’s hard to miss the signs. It’s just my glorified way of claiming that I still read. Do you have time to still catch up with novels between everything else?🙈
I would love to try mangas like with Keita Hatsukoi but it’s just too difficult since they cram so much in the tiny speech bubbles whereas my sight is too terrible for them😅

Lol even I usually use fan edits to watch dramas if i'm curious but not thaaaaat curious enough to watch the entire drama 🙈
Haha enjoy! If you can't find the link, let me know.
